Abstract
Description

d)第二ベースコート層上に少なくとも1つのクリアコート層を有し、その際、
電着被覆層と第一ベースコート層との間にプライマー層が存在せず、かつ第一ベースコート層が、0.6mil(15.2μm)以下の厚さであり、かつ第一ベースコート層が、第一ベースコート層に達する紫外光の0.5%未満が第一ベースコート層を通って電着被覆層に至るような紫外光透過率を有する。
次の成分を合して、本発明による溶剤系ベースコートを形成した。以下で述べる顔料混合物をベースコートに添加して、0.6mil(15.2μm)以下の厚さで適用した場合に、0.5%未満の紫外光がベースコートしか通過しないような紫外光透過率を有するベースコートを得た。
Claims (30)
- 多層塗装であって、それが、
a.下地上に電着被覆層を有し、
b.電着被覆層上に少なくとも1つの第一ベースコート層を有し、
c.第一ベースコート層上に少なくとも1つの第二ベースコート層を有し、
d.第二ベースコート層上に少なくとも1つのクリアコート層を有し、その際、
電着被覆層と第一ベースコート層との間にプライマー層が存在せず、かつ第一ベースコート層が、0.6mil(15.2μm)以下の厚さであり、かつ第一ベースコート層が、第一ベースコート層に達する紫外光の0.5%未満が第一ベースコート層を通って電着被覆層に至るような紫外光透過率を有する多層塗装。 - 請求項1に記載の多層塗装であって、ベースコート層が、紫外光透過率を得るための量で、カーボンブラック、酸化鉄、二酸化チタン、及びアルミニウム顔料、並びにそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも2つの化合物を含有する多層塗装。
- 請求項2に記載の多層塗装であって、カーボンブラックが、該塗装の質量に対して、0.5〜5.0質量%のカーボンブラックの量で第一ベースコート層に存在する多層塗装。
- 請求項2に記載の多層塗装であって、酸化鉄が、該塗装の質量に対して、0.5〜20.0質量%の酸化鉄の量で第一ベースコート層に存在する多層塗装。
- 請求項2に記載の多層塗装であって、二酸化チタンが、該塗装の質量に対して、5〜40質量%の二酸化チタンの量で第一ベースコート層に存在する多層塗装。
- 請求項2に記載の多層塗装であって、アルミニウム顔料が、該塗装の質量に対して、3.0〜20質量%のアルミニウム顔料の量で第一ベースコート層に存在する多層塗装。
- 請求項1に記載の多層塗装であって、紫外光透過率の量が、0.2%未満である多層塗装。
- 請求項1に記載の多層塗装であって、紫外光透過率の量が、0.05%未満である多層塗装。
- 請求項1に記載の多層塗装であって、第一ベースコート層が、0.5mil(12.7μm)以下の厚さである多層塗装。
- 請求項1に記載の多層塗装であって、第一ベースコート層が、0.3mil(7.6μm)〜0.5mil(12.7μm)の厚さである多層塗装。
- 請求項1に記載の多層塗装であって、第一ベースコート層が、0.3mil(7.6μm)〜0.5mil(12.7μm)の厚さであり、かつ紫外光透過率の量が、0.05%未満である多層塗装。
- 請求項1に記載の多層塗装であって、第一ベースコート層及び第二ベースコート層が、粉末塗料である多層塗装。
- 請求項1に記載の多層塗装であって、第一ベースコート層及び第二ベースコート層が、溶剤系塗料である多層塗装。
- 多層塗装を製造する方法において、
a)以下のいずれか一方を行い、
ii)下地に電着被覆組成物を適用し、そして電着被覆を硬化させて電着被覆層を形成させる、または、
ii)下地上に電着被覆層を有する下地を提供する、
b)電着被覆層に第一ベースコート組成物を適用し、
第一ベースコートに少なくとも1つの第二ベースコート組成物を適用する、
d)第二ベースコートに少なくとも1つのクリアコート組成物を適用し、かつ以下のi)〜iii)のいずれか1つによって硬化させる、
i)第二ベースコート組成物を第一ベースコート組成物にウェットオンウェットで適用し、クリアコート組成物を第二ベースコート組成物にウェットオンウェットで適用し、かつ第一ベースコート組成物、第二ベースコート組成物、及びクリアコート組成物を一緒に硬化させる、または、
ii)それぞれの層を次の層の適用前にそれぞれ硬化させる、または、
iii)層の組合せを次の層の適用前に一緒に硬化させる、
そうして、第一ベースコート層、第二ベースコート層、及びクリアコート層を形成する、または、
第一ベースコート層が、0.6mil(15.2μm)以下の厚さであり、かつカーボンブラック、二酸化チタン、酸化鉄、及びアルミニウム顔料が、第一ベースコート層に達する紫外光の0.5%未満が第一ベースコート層を通って電着被覆層に至るような量で第一ベースコート層に存在する方法。 - 請求項14に記載の方法において、ベースコート層が、紫外光透過率を得るための量でカーボンブラック、二酸化チタン、酸化鉄、及びアルミニウム顔料からなる群から選択される少なくとも2つの化合物を含有する方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法において、硬化を、段階i)によって行う方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法において、第一ベースコート組成物を、カーボンブラック、二酸化チタン、酸化鉄、及びアルミニウム顔料と第二ベースコート組成物との混合によって形成させる方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法において、カーボンブラックが、該塗装の質量に対して、0.5〜5.0質量%のカーボンブラックの量で第一ベースコート層中に存在する方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法において、酸化鉄が、該塗装の質量に対して、0.5〜20.0質量%の酸化鉄の量で第一ベースコート層中に存在する方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法において、二酸化チタンが、該塗装の質量に対して、5〜40質量%の二酸化チタンの量で第一ベースコート層に存在する方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法において、アルミニウム顔料が、該塗装の質量に対して、3.0〜20質量%のアルミニウム顔料の量で第一ベースコート層に存在する方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法において、紫外光透過率の量が、0.2%未満である方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法において、紫外光透過率の量が、0.05%未満である方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法において、第一ベースコート層が、0.5mil(12.7μm)以下の厚さである方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法において、第一ベースコート層が、0.3mil(7.6μm)〜0.5mil(12.7μm)の厚さである方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法において、第一ベースコート層が、0.3mil(7.6μm)〜0.5mil(12.7μm)の厚さであり、紫外光透過率の量が、0.05%未満である方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法において、第一ベースコート層及び第二ベースコート層が、溶剤系塗料組成物である方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法において、適用される第一ベースコート層及び第二ベースコート層が、粉末塗料組成物である方法。
- 請求項16に記載の方法において、適用される第一ベースコート層及び第二ベースコート層が、粉末塗料組成物である方法。
- カーボンブラック、二酸化チタン、酸化鉄、及びアルミニウム顔料が、紫外光の0.5%未満が0.6mil(15.2μm)以下の厚さである塗料組成物から形成された被覆を通過するような量で存在する、結合剤、カーボンブラック、二酸化チタン、酸化鉄、及びアルミニウム顔料を含有する塗料組成物。
