Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- ホスト・コンピュータ・システムに通信的に接続可能であり、且つ少なくとも一つのアナログーデジタル変換器、システム・メモリ及び少なくとも一つのプロセッサを含む光送受信機において、前記光送受信機に対して、前記ホスト・コンピュータ・システムと通信する前にデジタル診断情報の補正を実行するための方法であって、
アナログ信号からデジタル・サンプルを得る動作と、
前記少なくとも一つのプロセッサを利用して、前記光送受信機に、
前記デジタル・サンプルを補正する動作
を実行させるために前記マイクロコードを実行する動作と、
を備える方法。 - 前記補正されたデジタル・サンプルをホスト・コンピュータ・システムからアクセス可能な状態にする動作、
を更に備える、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記デジタル・サンプルは第一の非線型関数に一致し、前記デジタル・サンプルを補正する前記動作は、
前記デジタル・サンプルをマップして前記第一の非線型関数とは異なる第二の非線型関数に一般に一致する、補正後のデジタル・サンプルを生成する動作、
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記デジタル・サンプルは非線型関数に一致し、前記デジタル・サンプルを補正する前記動作は、
前記デジタル・サンプルをマップして線型関数に一般に一致する補正後のデジタル・サンプルを生成する動作、
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記デジタル・サンプルは線型関数に一致し、前記デジタル・サンプルを補正する前記動作は、
前記デジタル・サンプルをマップして非線型関数に一般に一致する補正後のデジタル・サンプルを生成する動作、
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記デジタル・サンプルは第一の線型関数に一致し、前記デジタル・サンプルを補正する前記動作は、
前記デジタル・サンプルをマップして前記第一の線型関数とは異なる第二の線型関数に一般に一致する補正後のデジタル・サンプルを生成する動作、
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記アナログ信号は送受信機の温度、送受信機の供給電圧、レーザ・バイアス電流、送受信機の受信電力、又は送受信機の送信電力の一つである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 光送受信機であって、
少なくとも一つのプロセッサと、
アナログ信号から複数のデジタル・サンプルを取得するように構成されたアナログ−デジタル変換器と、
マイクロコードを有するシステム・メモリであって、前記マイクロコードは、前記少なくとも一つ以上のプロセッサによって実行されるときに、前記光送受信機は前記デジタル・サンプルにアクセスして、前記デジタル・サンプルの補正演算を実行するように構造化される、システム・メモリと、
を備える光送受信機。 - 前記補正結果は、前記光送受信機に接続されたホスト・コンピュータ・システムからアクセス可能である、請求項8に記載の光送受信機。
- 前記デジタル・サンプルは第一の非線型関数に一致し、補正演算を実行することは前記デジタル・サンプルをマップして、前記第一の非線型関数とは異なる第二の非線型関数に一致する補正後のデジタル・サンプルを生成することを含む、請求項8に記載の光送受信機。
- 前記デジタル・サンプルは非線型関数に一致し、補正演算を実行することは前記デジタル・サンプルをマップして、線型関数に一致する補正後のデジタル・サンプルを生成することを含む、請求項8に記載の光送受信機。
- 前記デジタル・サンプルは線型関数に一致し、補正演算を実行することにより前記デジタル・サンプルをマップして、非線型関数に一般に一致する補正後のデジタル・サンプルを生成することを含む、請求項8に記載の光送受信機。
- 前記デジタル・サンプルは第一の線型関数に一致し、補正演算を実行することは前記デジタル・サンプルをマップして、前記第一の線型関数とは異なる第二の線型関数に一致する補正後のデジタル・サンプルを生成することを含む、請求項8に記載の光送受信機。
- 前記アナログ信号は送受信機の温度、送受信機の供給電圧、レーザ・バイアス電流、送受信機の受信電力又は送受信機の送信電力の一つである、請求項8に記載の光送受信機。
- 前記光送受信機は、1Gのレーザ送受信機、2Gのレーザ送受信機、4Gのレーザ送受信機、8Gのレーザ送受信機又は10Gのレーザ送受信機の一つである、請求項8に記載の光送受信機。
- 前記光送受信機は、10Gを越える光ファイバ接続に適するレーザ送受信機である、請求項8に記載の光送受信機。
- 前記光送受信機は、XFPレーザ送受信機、SFPレーザ送受信機又はSFFレーザ送受信機の一つである、請求項8に記載の光送受信機。
