Abstract
【解決手段】複数のセルが平面状に形成された電解質膜22の周縁部に設けられた封止部材50の内側に、隣接するセルを直列接続する接続部60を設ける。封止部材50の内側に、各セルのアノード用の集電体の端子32と、カソード用の集電体の端子36とが、電解質膜22を介して対向している。接続部60は、電解質膜を貫通し、隣接するセルの一方のアノードの端子32と、他方のカソードの端子36とを接続している。

Description
ここで、燃料電池用集電体の接続方法について説明する。まず、図6に示すように、ホットプレス、金属ペーストの印刷などの方法で、テープ状の封止部材50の所定の位置にアノードの金属パターン100aおよびカソード側の金属パターン100bを配置する。金属パターン100a、100bとして、金、白金などの腐食性金属、もしくはSUSなどに貴金属で表面処理した材料を用いることができる。
Claims (4)
- 電解質膜と、
前記電解質膜の一方の面に設けられた複数のアノードと、
前記複数のアノードにそれぞれ対向してセルを形成するように、前記電解質膜の他方の面に設けられた複数のカソードと、
前記複数のアノード毎に設けられたアノード集電体と、
前記複数のカソード毎に設けられたカソード集電体と、
前記電解質膜の周縁部を封止する封止部材と、
前記封止部材の内部において、隣接するセルの一方の前記アノード集電体と他方の前記カソード集電体とを接続する接続部と、
を備えることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 前記電解質膜の周縁部に前記接続部が貫通する貫通孔が設けられ、
前記貫通孔が、隣接するセルの前記アノード集電体の間、および前記カソード集電体の間に位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池。 - 前記電解質膜の周縁部に突出した前記アノード集電体および前記カソード集電体の幅が、前記セルの幅より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の燃料電池。
- アノード集電体と接触する接触面と接続端子とを有する第1の金属パターン、およびカソード集電体と接触する接触面と接続端子とを有する第2の金属パターンが埋め込まれた封止部材を前記第1の金属パターンと前記第2の金属パターンの間で折り返し、前記第1の金属パターンと前記第2の金属パターンとの間に前記アノード集電体と前記カソード集電体との間に狭持された電解質膜の周縁部を挿入し、前記第1の金属パターンと前記第2の金属パターンとの間に前記アノード集電体および前記カソード集電体を圧着することにより、隣接するセルの前記第1の金属パターンの接続端子と前記第2の金属パターンの接続端子とを接続することを特徴とする燃料電池用集電体の接続方法。
