Description

The present invention relates to a flexible electrode pad that is used by being attached to the skin and allows a weak current to flow through a human body.

Known flexible electrodes used by being attached to the skin include electrodes for low-frequency treatment devices, electrodes for electrocardiograms and electroencephalograms, electrodes for iontophoresis, and the like. Since such an electrode is affixed to the skin, it tends to peel off due to unevenness or sebum of the skin.

Patent Document 1 is known as an electrode with improved skin adhesion performance and adhesion. The electrode pad for electrotherapy described in Patent Document 1 is formed by overlapping a conductive flexible sheet and a non-conductive flexible sheet to form a cross shape as a whole. The electrode pad can be attached in close contact with each other by winding it around a knee or elbow.

However, the adhesiveness when pasted on a planar portion is not always suitable. Moreover, since the length for winding is needed, there existed a problem that an electrode will become a big thing.
JP 2001-299937 A

An object of the present invention is to provide an electrode pad on which an electrode having an appropriate size can be attached without being wasted.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the electrode pad according to claim 1 has a shape in which a narrow constriction is formed at the center of a flexible insulating sheet, and two main parts are integrally connected via the constriction. And, with two conductive electrode sheets pasted on the back side of each main part, with both electrode sheets electrically insulated by a constricted part, the top of each electrode sheet is covered with a conductive adhesive gel layer, These electrode sheets are formed by projecting the front end of a power supply terminal to which an EMS current should be applied through the insulating sheet to the front side.
The electrode pad according to claim 2 is characterized in that one of the electrode sheets is formed in a horizontally long oval shape and the other is formed in a round shape.
The electrode pad according to claim 3 is characterized in that a slit is formed in the main part.

According to the electrode pad of the present invention, the insulating sheet is formed with a narrow constriction at the center, and two main parts are integrally formed through the constriction, so that the electrode pad is attached to the skin. Even if the EMS current is applied from the power supply terminal to contract the muscle, the contraction of the muscle is not hindered, and the electrode pad does not float as the skin moves, and the electrode pad does not come into close contact and is not easily peeled off.

Also, since the two electrodes are integrally formed through the narrow constriction, it is easier to handle than handling the two electrodes, and the two electrodes are insulated through the constriction and can be short-circuited. Absent.

In addition, by forming one of the electrode sheets in a horizontally long elliptical shape and the other in a round shape, one of the horizontally long elliptical electrode sheets can be suitably attached to the eyes and mouth and the other circular electrode sheet Can be suitably affixed to the cheeks, and can be used to treat wrinkled spots such as the eyes and mouth.

Further, since the slits are formed in the main part, the slits absorb well the movement of the skin accompanying the contraction of the muscles, so that the skin does not float as the skin moves, and it adheres well and hardly peels off.

An electrode pad according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of an electrode pad according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a view showing the back surface of the electrode pad.

As shown in a sectional view in FIG. 1, the electrode pad 1 is formed by forming electrode portions 11 and 12 on the back surface of one insulating sheet 10. The electrode parts 11 and 12 are formed by providing electrode sheets 13 and 14 on the back surface of the insulating sheet 10 and covering both electrode sheets 13 and 14 with conductive adhesive gel layers 17 and 18, respectively. Further, terminals 15 and 16 that are electrically connected to the electrode sheets 13 and 14, respectively, project from the surface side of the insulating sheet 10.

The insulating sheet 10 is formed in a bowl shape in which two main portions 10b and 10c are integrally connected by a constricted portion 10a, and a first electrode portion 11 is formed on one main portion 10b across the constricted portion 10a. And the 2nd electrode part 12 is formed in the other main part 10c. By sandwiching the constricted portion 10a, the two electrode portions 11 and 12 are formed as a single sheet and the electrode portions 11 and 12 are insulated from each other.

As the insulating sheet 10 of the present embodiment, for example, what is used for attaching to the face has a total length of about 80 mm in the vertical direction in FIG. 2, a total width of the first electrode portion 11 in the horizontal direction of about 70 mm, The lateral direction of the electrode portion 12 may be formed to have a total length of about 50 mm.

As a material of the insulating sheet 10, a nonwoven fabric having a thickness of about 0.1 to 0.7 mm, a soft synthetic resin sheet, or the like is used. For example, a non-woven fabric having a thickness of about 0.5 mm has sufficient strength and moderate flexibility, and does not easily peel off following the movement of the skin.

The electrode sheets 13 and 14 formed on the back surface of the insulating sheet 10 are formed of a conductive resin material containing carbon powder or graphite powder, a conductive film or paint, a paste material containing metal powder, or the like. The

The terminals 15 and 16 have pins 15a and 16a and flanges 15b and 16b, respectively. The pins 15a and 16a are inserted into the through holes 10b formed in the insulating sheet 10 from the back surface side, and the surface side of the insulating sheet 10 Pins 15a and 16a are protruded from each other, and conductive adhesive films 15c and 16c are attached and fixed to the flanges 15b and 16b and the surrounding electrode sheets 13 and 14, respectively.

The flanges 15 b and 16 b have an action of ensuring electrical connection between the electrode sheets 13 and 14 formed on the back surface of the insulating sheet 10 and the terminals 15 and 16 in addition to the action of preventing the pins 15 a and 16 a from coming off. The power supply terminals 15 and 16 are made of metal such as brass.

The electrode parts 11 and 12 are formed by covering the conductive adhesive gel layers 17 and 18 so as to cover the electrode sheets 13 and 14. In the present embodiment, the first electrode portion 11 is formed in a belt shape and curved in an arc shape. The second electrode portion 12 is formed in a substantially round shape.

Slits 20 and 21 are respectively formed in the vertical direction at substantially the center in the horizontal direction in FIG. 2 of the main portions 10b and 10c of the insulating sheet 10 and the first electrode portion 11 and the second electrode portion 12. A pair of slits 22 and 23 are also formed on the left and right sides of the constricted portion 10a of the insulating sheet 10 on the second electrode portion 12 side.

The slits 20 and 21 are preferably formed to have a length of 10 to 15 mm, for example, when the electrode pad 1 has a length of 80 mm and a width of 70 mm. In addition, the slits 22 and 23 are preferably formed to have a length of 5 to 10 mm from the outer edge of the insulating sheet 10 toward the substantially center of the substantially round second electrode portion 12.

The slits may be formed not only at the positions described above but also at the left and right side edges of the second electrode in FIG. 2, for example, from the outer periphery of the main portion 10c toward the approximate center of the round second electrode portion 12. . Further, a slit may be formed on the first electrode portion 11 side of the constricted portion 10a.

Next, the EMS main body attached to an electrode pad is demonstrated with reference to FIG.3 and FIG.4. FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the EMS main body as viewed from the back side, and FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the EMS main body as viewed from the front.

A pair of hook terminals 30 and 31 are provided on the back surface of the EMS main body 3. The hook terminals 30 and 31 are engaged with the power supply terminals 15 and 16 of the electrode pad 1 to electrically connect the EMS main body 3 and the electrode pad 1. Further, a battery housing portion 32 is formed on the back surface of the EMS main body 3, and a cap 33 is opened and closed, and a small button battery (not shown) is housed in the battery housing portion 32 to serve as a power source.

An operation unit 36 including two button switches 34 and 35 is provided on the surface of the EMS main body 3. In FIG. 4, a button switch 34 on the back side is a DOWN switch that doubles as a power switch. When the switch is pressed, the output level of the current can be lowered by one step, and when the switch is pressed long, the power can be turned on / off.

The button switch 35 on the front side is an UP switch that doubles as an operation mode change switch. When the switch is pressed, the output level can be increased by one step, and when the switch is held down, the operation mode can be changed. The power supply ON / OFF state and the operation mode state of the EMS main body 3 are displayed by blinking the LED 37.

The EMS main body 3 of the present embodiment is formed in an oval shape, and has a thickness of about 10 mm, a length in the major axis direction of about 40 mm, and a length in the minor axis direction of about 20 mm. In a state where the small EMS main body 3 is attached to the electrode pad 1, the electrode pad 1 is attached to a place to be applied and used.

Next, how the electrode pad 1 according to the present invention is used will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6 are perspective views showing a state in which the electrode pad is applied to the face.

When the electrode pad 1 according to the present invention is used, first, the hook terminals 30 and 31 of the EMS main body 3 are engaged with the pins 15a and 16a of the power supply terminals 15 and 16 of the electrode pad 1, and the EMS main body 3 and The electrode pad 1 is electrically connected.

The first electrode portion 11 of the electrode pad 1 is formed in an arcuate shape, and as shown in FIG. 5, the first electrode portion 11 is attached along the present direction. When the electrode pad 1 is attached in this manner and the EMS body 3 is turned on, when a weak current is passed through the skin through the electrode pad 1, the muscle is stimulated by the current and starts contracting. By attaching the electrode pad 1 as shown in FIG. 5, the ocular muscles and zygomatic muscles can be stimulated.

By stimulating the ocular muscles, the generation of wrinkles in the eyes is suppressed and the wrinkles are reduced. In addition, by stimulating the zygomatic muscles, sagging of the cheeks is taken and wrinkle generation is suppressed.

As shown in FIG. 6, the electrode pad 1 may be affixed with the first electrode portion 11 along a conical line at the mouth. By attaching the electrode pad 1 in this way, it is possible to stimulate the muzzle muscles and the zygomatic muscles. By stimulating the muzzle muscles, the generation of wrinkles at the mouth is suppressed and the wrinkles are reduced. In addition, by stimulating the zygomatic muscles along with the muzzle muscles, sagging of the cheeks is taken, and the deepening of the constriction line is suppressed.

The electrode pad 1 configured as described above has the following effects.

According to the electrode pad of the present invention, both electrode portions are arranged with the constricted portion of the insulating sheet interposed therebetween, and a slit is formed in each of the constricted portion and both electrode portions, so that the skin is formed by the constricted portion and the slit. Can be sufficiently absorbed, and even if an electrode pad is attached to the undulating skin surface, it does not float and adheres well and is difficult to peel off.

In addition, even if the skin moves finely during the operation of the EMS, the electrode pad does not float by sufficiently absorbing the fine movement of the skin by the slit and the constricted portion, and it is difficult to peel off because sufficient adhesion can be maintained. .

Further, since the two electrodes are formed on one insulating sheet, it is easier to handle than two electrodes and the insulating state can be reliably maintained.

In addition, the first electrode portion is formed in a strip shape, and both end portions are protruded outward and curved in an arc shape, thereby providing an electrode pad that can be particularly suitably used for the eyes and mouth. And since it has sufficient adhesiveness by a slit and a constriction part, there is much sebum like a face, and even if it sticks to the part where skin is easy to move, it does not peel off.

As in the above-described embodiment, even when a small EMS body is directly attached to the electrode pad, the electrode pad is sufficiently adhered to the skin and firmly attached and does not peel off. Since it is possible to use it by directly attaching to the EMS, there is no need for a lead wire for electrically connecting the EMS main body and the electrode pad. Doing other tasks such as housework and exercise while doing massages, etc. will not get in the way.
