また、従来の技術に挙げられた課題に加え、ここ最近、油性固形化粧料の使用感に対する要求品質が変化し、硬さを感じるツルツルとした軽い使用感よりも、ソフトな肌あたりで密着感を感じ、オイルの口唇化粧料のようなツヤ感や透明感、それに付随して得られる唇のふっくらとした立体感が好まれるようになってきた。

これに対して成分(a)の代わりにポリエチレンワックスを用いた比較例1では、成分(c)のフェニルシリコーンのツヤ感を活かすことができず、特に化粧膜のツヤ感やツヤの持続性、唇のふっくらとした立体感において満足するものが得られなかった。また成分(b)の代わりにメチル多分岐型ではないトリイソステアリン酸グリセリルを配合した比較例2は、比較例1と同様に、化粧膜のツヤ感においても満足するものが得られず、経時安定性についても良いものが得られなかった。成分(c)が配合されていない比較例3、特に化粧膜のツヤ感や唇のふっくらとした立体感で満足するものが得られなかった。成分(c)のフェニルシリコーンの代わりに重質流動イソパラフィンを配合した比較例4は、フェニルシリコーンを配合したときのツヤ感に比べ劣るものであった。
