Abstract
【解決手段】ガソリンエンジン12に付設された燃料供給システム10は、ガソリンとエタノールとの混合物を収容した第1タンク40と、水を収容した第2タンク42と、これら第1タンク40及び第2タンク42に接続されたマイクロバブル発生装置44と、該マイクロバブル発生装置44に接続された燃料噴射バルブ46とを有する。前記混合物と前記水は、マイクロバブル発生装置44の作用下に発生した微細な気泡が供給されながら混合される。このようにして調製された混合燃料は、燃料噴射バルブ46を介して、前記ガソリンエンジン12を構成するシリンダブロック16に連結された供給管24に噴射され、該供給管24を流通した空気と混合して燃焼室14内に供給される。

前記混合燃料を内燃機関の燃焼室に供給するための燃料噴射バルブと、
を備えることを特徴とする。

前記第1タンクから供給された前記エタノールと、前記第2タンクから供給された前記水とを混合して混合物とするための混合装置と、

前記制御バルブの下流側に配設され、前記混合物と、前記第3タンクから供給された前記ガソリンとが混合された混合燃料を内燃機関の燃焼室に供給するための燃料噴射バルブと、

Claims (9)
- 内燃機関の燃焼室で混合燃料を燃焼させることで前記内燃機関を付勢して動力を得る内燃機関の運転方法であって、
前記混合燃料として、ガソリン及びエタノールの混合物と、水とが混合装置で混合されることで調製されたものを使用することを特徴とする内燃機関の運転方法。 - 内燃機関の燃焼室で混合燃料を燃焼させることで前記内燃機関を付勢して動力を得る内燃機関の運転方法であって、
前記混合燃料として、水とエタノールとが混合装置で混合されることで調製された混合物がガソリンに対して添加されることで調製されたものを使用することを特徴とする内燃機関の運転方法。 - 請求項2記載の運転方法において、前記内燃機関の運転状態を検出する検出手段からの情報に基づいて、制御手段の制御作用下に前記ガソリンに対する前記混合物の添加割合を調整することを特徴とする内燃機関の運転方法。
- 内燃機関の燃焼室に混合燃料を供給するための燃料供給システムであって、
ガソリンとエタノールとの混合物を収容した第1タンクと、
水を収容した第2タンクと、
前記第1タンクから供給された前記混合物と、前記第2タンクから供給された前記水とを混合して混合燃料とするための混合装置と、
前記混合燃料を内燃機関の燃焼室に供給するための燃料噴射バルブと、
を備えることを特徴とする燃料供給システム。 - 内燃機関の燃焼室に混合燃料を供給するための燃料供給システムであって、
エタノールを収容した第1タンクと、
水を収容した第2タンクと、
ガソリンを収容した第3タンクと、
前記第1タンクから供給された前記エタノールと、前記第2タンクから供給された前記水とを混合して混合物とするための混合装置と、
前記混合物の供給量を制御する制御バルブと、
前記制御バルブの下流側に配設され、前記混合物と、前記第3タンクから供給された前記ガソリンとが混合された混合燃料を内燃機関の燃焼室に供給するための燃料噴射バルブと、
を備えることを特徴とする燃料供給システム。 - 請求項5記載のシステムにおいて、さらに、前記燃焼室の運転状態を検出する検出手段と、前記制御バルブの開度を制御する制御手段とを備え、前記制御手段は、前記検出手段からの情報に基づいて前記制御バルブの開度を制御することで前記混合物の流量を制御することを特徴とする燃料供給システム。
- 請求項6記載のシステムにおいて、前記検出手段が、前記内燃機関を冷却する冷媒の温度を検出する温度検出手段であるか、又は、ノッキングが発生したことを感知するノッキング検出手段であることを特徴とする燃料供給システム。
- 請求項4〜7のいずれか1項に記載のシステムにおいて、前記燃料噴射バルブが、前記内燃機関の前記燃焼室に空気を供給するための供給管に設置されていることを特徴とする燃料供給システム。
- 請求項4〜7のいずれか1項に記載のシステムにおいて、前記燃料噴射バルブが、前記内燃機関の前記燃焼室に臨む位置に設置されていることを特徴とする燃料供給システム。
