Description

The present invention relates to an oily solid cosmetic, and more specifically, by containing a purified carnauba wax, it has good adhesion, excellent pigment colorability and coating luster, and moldability, retention. An object of the present invention is to provide an oily solid cosmetic having excellent shape strength, excellent stability of a molded product, excellent detachability at the time of use, good color and odor.

Conventionally, oily solid cosmetics include petroleum waxes such as polyethylene wax and Fischer-Tropsch wax, which are excellent in solidifying properties as solid wax components, and synthetic linear hydrocarbon waxes such as paraffin wax, ozokerite wax, ceresin wax, and microcrystalline wax. Carnauba wax, candelilla wax, and the like are used as hydrocarbon waxes obtained from fractions or as plant waxes that are excellent in adhesion, pigment coloring, gloss, and smooth feel. Rice wax and molefish are also used. Furthermore, animal waxes such as beeswax are also widely used. In addition, in order to meet the market demand for cosmetics that do not use solid hydrocarbon waxes due to safety concerns, non-solid hydrocarbons such as carnauba wax, which is a vegetable wax, and beeswax, which is an animal wax, are used. Various oily solid cosmetics have been made.

However, oil-based solid cosmetics using conventional carnauba wax are excellent in adhesion and pigment color development, but do not have sufficient solidifying power in many oils commonly used in cosmetics, and can be used for oil selection in formulation design. There is a big limitation, and there is a problem that the finished product has a large change in shape holding force due to a change in temperature and lacks stability such that liquid oil sweats from the surface of the molded product. In addition, when used in an excessive amount in order to obtain sufficient solidification, there is a problem that the feel becomes heavy and the feeling of use is poor, the removal is poor and the usability is poor. Furthermore, the color and odor were strongly problematic.

As a result of diligent research, the present inventors have found that a carnauba wax having a saponification value of 45 to 65 and purified and fractionated, an acid value of 0 to 0.8, and a melting point of 78 ° C. to 82 ° C. It has been found that the above problems can be solved by blending, and the present invention has been completed.

A rod-like oily solid cosmetic containing only natural solid fat as a solidifying agent.

The oil and fat solid cosmetic of the present invention has good adhesion, excellent pigment coloration and gloss, and excellent moldability and shape retention strength, as well as stability of molded products and ease of use. It is an oily solid cosmetic and a rod-like oily cosmetic with excellent color, good use feeling and little odor.

The carnauba wax used in the present invention is produced by purifying crude carnauba wax. In this purification, for example, crude carnauba wax is dissolved by heating, activated carbon is added and stirred under reduced pressure, and then the activated carbon is removed by filtration. Next, activated clay is added to the heated filtrate, and after stirring under reduced pressure, the activated clay is removed by filtration. After the odor is removed from the filtrate by, for example, reduced-pressure steam distillation, it is dissolved by heating in an organic solvent such as cyclohexane, activated alumina is added, heated and stirred under normal pressure, and then the activated alumina is removed by filtration. Cyclohexane is distilled under reduced pressure using an evaporator or the like to distill off the filtrate to a solid. Then, the solid matter is dissolved in benzene, and the solution is passed through a column packed with silica gel, eluted and developed with benzene, and divided into fractions. This fraction can be collected, for example, from the first fraction to the 32nd fraction, and benzene can be distilled off to obtain purified carnauba wax.

The carnauba wax used in the present invention has a saponification value of 45 or more and 65 or less, an acid value of 0 or more and 0.8 or less, and a melting point of 78 ° C. or more and 82 ° C. or less, which is remarkably compared with the conventional carnauba wax. The saponification value and acid value are reduced.

The blending amount of the carnauba wax used in the present invention in the oily solid cosmetic is not particularly limited, but is preferably 1 to 50%. More preferably, it is 5 to 40%.
