Description

The present invention relates to a stapler related to improvement of a base serving as a fulcrum of rotation of a stapler mainly used for office work, particularly a base of a handle portion provided with a driver plate.

Generally, as shown in Patent Document 1, this type of stapler has a stapled sheet sandwiched between a base having a clincher groove formed at the tip and a magazine loaded with a plurality of staples, and a handle portion on the upper portion of the magazine. By pressing against the magazine side, the leading staple in the magazine is driven out by a driver plate provided in the handle portion to penetrate the paper to be bound, and the leg portion of the penetrated staple is bent by the clincher groove of the base and bound.

Many conventional staplers have a concave shape on the top of the handle, where the thumb hits during use, or a synthetic resin cover with a concave shape for the purpose of improving the fit. It was. This is because, as a method of gripping the stapler, a so-called manual movement in which the thumb is placed on the upper side of the tip of the handle portion is assumed.

However, in the actual usage situation, contrary to normal, the stapler is held by holding the stapler with the staple side up and holding the staple driving side down with the thumb against the base of the handle. It is often used by holding.
JP-A-11-28682

However, the above-mentioned reverse use was not reflected in the stapler design. For this reason, the base part of the handle part remains exposed, and not only is it slippery and unstable in holding, but also supports the handle part and the magazine so as to be rotatable. The support shaft sometimes protrudes to the side, which not only feels bad, but also feels pain when applying force, so the feeling of operation was not good either.

Further, in the tacking operation for driving the staple into the object, the handle is opened and deployed so as to be straight with respect to the base. However, the remover (thin Since the sheet metal blade wraps around the upper surface of the base portion of the handle portion, there is a possibility that a finger may be caught between the handle portion and the remover.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and provides a stapler that is easy to hold, has good workability, can be used safely, and is excellent in touch and operation feeling, particularly when used with reverse holding. Both ends of the support shaft 2 are exposed on both side surfaces of the handle portion 5.

By the way, the above-mentioned stapler is covered with a protective cover 14 made of synthetic resin on the upper surface of the base portion of the handle portion 5. This protective cover 14 is softer than metal.

The protective cover 14 is formed in a U-shaped cross section downward from an upper surface portion 14a and both side portions 14b. The distance between the side portions 14b is formed to be substantially the same as the width of the handle portion 5. That is, it is formed so as to be fitted to the base portion of the handle portion 5, the upper surface portion 14a of the protective cover 14 covers the upper surface of the handle portion 5, the side portions 14b cover the side surfaces of the handle portion 5, and the upper end of the upper surface portion 14a is It is flat. 4A and 4B, a protrusion 20 is formed on the back surface of the upper surface portion 14a of the protective cover 14, and a locking protrusion 21 is formed on the inner surface of both side portions 14b. Then, the protective cover 14 locks the locking protrusions 21 of the both side portions 14b with respect to the handle portion 5 in locking holes 22 formed on the side surfaces of the handle portion 5, and the protrusion 20 on the upper surface of the handle portion 5. It is attached by penetrating through the formed attachment hole 23.

Both side portions 14 b of the protective cover 14 cover both ends of the support shaft 2 of the base 1.

As well shown in FIG. 1, a recess 24 is formed in the upper surface portion 14 a of the protective cover 14. The recess 24 has a shape that fits the thumb 30 when the stapler is reversed as shown in FIG. Further, the recess 24 is formed on the right side and the left side of the upper surface of the protective cover 14. However, as shown in FIG. 7, the recess 24 may be formed at the center of the protective cover 14. Moreover, you may make it form the slip prevention 24a in the said hollow part 24 or its vicinity. The anti-slip material may be uneven or may not be slippery.

Next, as shown in FIGS. 4A and 6A and 6B, a storage groove 25 is formed on the upper surface of the handle portion 5 on the back side of the base end portion of the hollow portion 24. Yes. The storage groove 25 is opened in the extending direction of the handle portion 5, and when the handle portion 5 is opened and deployed so as to be straight with respect to the base 1, the remover 8 protruding from the base portion of the base 1 is removed. It is formed so that it can be stored.

Since the above-described protective cover 14 is attached to the base portion of the handle portion 5 of the stapler, the following operational effects can be obtained.
(1) As shown in FIG. 5, when the stapler is used while being held upside down, the protective cover 14 having the recessed portion 24 is attached to the upper surface portion 14a of the portion that contacts the thumb 30, so that it is less slippery than metal. It has a good feel and is easy to hold. Further, since both side portions 14b of the protective cover 14 cover the end portion of the support shaft 2 of the base 1, there is no pain even if a force is applied during the spelling operation, so that the operation feeling is good and the workability is also good.
(2) A recess 24 is formed in the protective cover 14. Normally, when the stapler is held upside down, the thumb 30 hits the corner of the base of the handle portion 5, and this portion is shaped to fit the thumb 30. As described above, since the recessed portion 24 is formed in the portion that becomes the fulcrum when the thumb 30 is applied and the reverse holding operation is performed, the spelling operation can be stably performed.
(3) If the said recessed part 24 is formed in the right side and the left side, it can respond even if it is right-handed or left-handed. Of course, even if the depression 24 is formed in the center of the protective cover 14, it can be right-handed and left-handed.
(4) Since the protective cover 14 is formed in a U-shaped cross section and the support shaft 2 of the base 1 is covered by the both side portions 14b, not only is the safety as described above, but the support shaft 2 is external. The overall appearance is improved because it is not exposed.
(5) Since the side surface portion of the handle portion 5 and both side portions 14b of the protective cover 14 and the bottom surface portion of the handle portion 5 and the upper portion of the protective cover 14 are engaged with each other, a separate pin or the like It can be mounted without the need for engaging parts.
(6) If the recess 24 is formed with a non-slip, the thumb is difficult to slip. Therefore, the thumb is hard to come off from the fit shape part even when working with the stapler reversed. Good operability and operability.
(7) The tacking operation for driving the staple into the object is performed by opening the handle portion 5 so as to be straight with respect to the base 1, but it protrudes from the base portion of the base 1 during expansion. Since the remover 8 that has reached the upper surface of the base portion of the handle portion 5 is stored in the storage groove 25 of the protective cover 14, a finger is pinched between the handle portion 5 and the remover 8, and the player is injured by hitting it. It is possible to ensure safety during operation.
(8) A circular portion is formed in a portion corresponding to the support shaft 2 of the both side portions 14b. Since this circular portion is reminiscent of the center of rotation, a natural appearance can be obtained.
(9) Since the protective cover 14 is provided separately from the resin cover 17 at the tip of the handle portion, the cost can be reduced by covering only the necessary portions.

In addition, the shape of the site | part which hangs a thumb should just be effective as a finger hook, and does not necessarily need to be a hollow. It may be formed in a protruding shape. For example, the upper surface portion 14a in FIG. 1 has a protruding shape between the left and right hollow portions 24, and constitutes a protruding portion, but when held in reverse, the holdability when the thumb is put on the protruding portion 14a is improved. Well, the thumb is hard to come off even when working with force when using the stapler upside down, so that the workability and operability are good and the spelling operation can be performed stably.

Similarly, FIG. 8 shows a case in which a protrusion 26 having an elliptical shape around the center and a gently raised center is formed at the center of the protective cover 14 at the base of the handle portion 5. The thumb is hard to come off when it is held upside down, which is effective as a finger hook. If the projecting portion 26 is configured to be elastic, it does not hurt very much because there is elasticity even if the grip when the stapler is reversely held is strengthened.

There is no particular limitation on the position or shape of the protrusion. As in the case shown in FIG. 1, the protective cover 14 may be formed on the left and right sides, or may be rectangular as a whole. Similarly, the shape of the dent portion 24 is not limited as long as it fits to such an extent that the thumb does not move during work, and may have an oval shape like the dent portion 24 shown in FIG. 9.

Further, a resin cover and a protective cover at the tip of the handle portion may be provided integrally. For example, FIG. 10 shows an example in which the resin cover 17 and the protective cover 4 are integrally provided via the connecting cover 27. The resin cover 17 and the protective cover 14 at the tip are formed with recessed portions 19 and 24, respectively. . FIG. 11 also shows an example in which the resin cover 17 and the protective cover 14 are integrally provided via a connection cover 27. The connection cover 27 covers the outer surface of the handle portion 5, and the recess 19 is formed in the resin cover 17 at the tip. A protrusion 26 is formed on the upper surface of the protective cover 14, and its upper end is formed flat. A small protrusion 28 for preventing slipping is formed inside the recess 19.

As described above, according to the configuration in which the resin cover 17 at the distal end of the handle portion and the protective cover 14 are provided integrally, a sense of unity and unity can be expressed in the overall design.
