Description

The present invention relates to an electronic apparatus or an imaging device that has a waterproof structure and includes a sound generation unit (speaker) or a sound collection unit (microphone).

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, electronic devices having a waterproof structure that can be used in water or in the rain are generally known. Some of such electronic devices have a built-in microphone as sound collecting means and a speaker as sounding means.

For example, an electronic device disclosed in Patent Document 1 has a structure in which a microphone is covered with a breathable waterproof sheet, or a sound hole of a speaker is covered with a breathable waterproof sheet.

FIG. 9 shows a longitudinal section of the main part (including around the microphone) of the electronic device of Patent Document 1. A sound hole 52a is provided in the housing 52 of the electronic device 51, and a microphone 55 is disposed inside the sound hole 52a. A microphone waterproof sheet 54, which is a ventilation non-water-permeable sheet, is attached to the sound hole 52, and a microphone cover 53 having a sound hole group 53a is provided in a state where a gap is provided on the front surface. In the case where an exothermic electronic component is housed inside the housing, a ventilation sheet 57 is disposed on the ventilation hole 52b in order to suppress an increase in internal pressure as shown in FIG. It is desirable to protect with a cover 56 having a small hole 56a.

By the way, in recent electronic devices, various electronic components, for example, heat generating members such as an image sensor and an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) are often arranged inside. In particular, highly integrated ASICs and the like generate considerable heat during the operation of electronic devices. In particular, in an imaging apparatus, heat generation from an imaging element (CCD or CMOS), an image processing circuit (including ASCIC), etc. is significant.

If heat is generated by electronic components inside the housing in an electronic device having a waterproof structure, the temperature inside the housing rises and the pressure inside the housing rises. When the pressure inside the casing rises in this way, the internal pressure is applied to the waterproof sheet covering the sound holes of the microphone and the speaker, and the waterproof sheet expands, so that desired sound characteristics cannot be obtained.

In order to prevent such an increase in pressure, it has been proposed to use a ventilation non-water-permeable sheet like those disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 above. However, when using a ventilation non-permeable sheet, in order to obtain high waterproof performance, it is necessary to reduce the fine pores of the ventilation non-permeable sheet or increase the thickness of the ventilation non-permeable sheet. However, with this highly water-permeable ventless water-permeable sheet, when the internal pressure of the housing increases, it takes time to release the internal pressure to the outside, and until then, the desired sound characteristics cannot be obtained. It was.

For example, when the temperature inside the housing rises in the electronic device 51 of FIG. 9 described above, the microphone waterproof sheet 54 that is a ventilation non-water-permeable sheet swells as shown in the diagram showing the state around the microphone 55 of FIG. It becomes difficult to vibrate, causing problems in audio transmission.

In view of the above-described circumstances, the present invention provides an electronic apparatus or an imaging device that can prevent deterioration of sound characteristics even when the internal pressure inside the casing rises due to heat generated by electronic components inside the casing. With the goal.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the electronic device according to the first aspect, the isolation means has two isolation walls that form an air layer separated from each other by a predetermined amount.

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided an image pickup apparatus according to a fourth aspect of the present invention, a housing having a waterproof structure, an image sensor disposed in the housing, and a signal output from the image sensor disposed in the housing. According to the present invention, even if the internal pressure inside the housing rises due to heat generated by electronic components inside the housing, an electronic device that can prevent deterioration in sound characteristics of the built-in sounding means and sound collecting means, or An imaging device can be provided.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a rear view of a digital camera which is an imaging apparatus (electronic device) according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line AA of FIG. 1 and shows a cross section including the periphery of the speaker.

The digital camera 1 according to the present embodiment has a waterproof structure, and includes a front cover 2a and a rear cover 2b as exterior casings as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, and the front cover 2a and the rear cover 2b are: The waterproof packing 4 is joined and the inside of the casing (that is, the front and rear covers) is sealed. Inside the front cover 2a and the rear cover 2b, there are a lens barrel portion 5 having an optical axis O, an image sensor 6 which is one of the heat generating members attached to the lens barrel portion 5, and other heat generating members. An electric control board 7 on which an image processing circuit IC including one ASIC 8 is mounted, a speaker 9 as a sound generation means, and the like are incorporated.

A liquid crystal monitor display unit 3, a switch operation button group 10, and a speaker lid 23 having a sound hole group 23a are arranged on the back surface of the rear cover 2b. A plate member such as a metal plate having a high thermal conductivity is applied to the speaker lid 23.

A sound hole 2d is provided inside the speaker lid 23 of the rear cover 2b, and a concave speaker storage chamber 2e is provided along the inside of the sound hole.

The speaker 9 is attached in the speaker storage chamber 2e. The lead wire 21 of the speaker 9 is connected to the electric control board 7 through a separator plate 24 described later.

A speaker waterproof sheet 22 made of a non-breathable waterproof member made of a silicon rubber sheet or the like that can be elastically deformed with a slight gap is attached to the speaker lid 23 side outside the sound hole 2d in a sealed state around the periphery. . Note that the sound emitted from the speaker 9 is transmitted to the speaker waterproof sheet 22 through the sound hole 2d, vibrates the speaker waterproof sheet, and is emitted to the outside through the sound hole group 23a of the speaker lid 23.

An isolation plate 24 of isolation means for forming an isolation wall for isolating the speaker 9 is attached to the end surface on the inside of the housing of the speaker storage chamber 2e by screws 26 with a sealing packing 25 sandwiched therebetween. The separator plate 24 is a heat insulating material such as a glass fiber sheet and is formed of a rigid plate member having a low thermal conductivity. Accordingly, the inside of the speaker storage chamber 2e is pressure-isolated from the inside of the other housing, and heat transfer from the inside of the housing is small.

A vent hole 2c is provided on the front surface of the front cover 2a. A ventilation sheet 11 made of a breathable non-water-permeable sheet is affixed to the front surface of the ventilation hole 2c in a sealed state, and a protective plate 12 having a ventilation hole 12a is attached to the front surface of the ventilation sheet 11. ing. When the internal temperature rises due to the image sensor 6 or the ASIC 8 that is a heat generating member, the air heated by the ventilation sheet 11 is gradually released to suppress the increase of the internal pressure, and also effective in preventing condensation Act on. However, the response is slow. In addition, the arrangement | positioning structure of this ventilation sheet 11 is arrange | positioned of the same structure also in the case of other embodiment mentioned later.

In the camera 1 of the present embodiment having the above-described configuration, when the operating state continues and the internal pressure inside the housing (inside the front and rear covers) rises for a relatively long time due to the heat generated by the image sensor 6 and the ASIC 8, As described above, the internal pressure can be lowered by the ventilation sheet 11. However, when the internal pressure rises in a relatively short time, the ventilation sheet 11 cannot suppress the internal pressure rise. However, in this embodiment, since the speaker storage chamber 2e in which the speakers 9 are stored is isolated in a heat-insulated state by the separator 24, the pressure in the speaker storage chamber 2e increases even if heat is generated for a relatively short time. And the swelling of the speaker waterproof sheet 22 is less likely to occur, and a decrease in the sound pressure output level to the outside of the speaker 9 can be avoided.

As described above, according to the camera 1 of the present embodiment, since the speaker storage chamber 2e is isolated, even if the pressure inside the housing rises relatively suddenly due to the heat generated by the image sensor 6 or the ASIC 8, FIG. The speaker waterproof sheet 22 does not bulge as in the case of the conventional camera shown, and the speaker 9 can prevent the sound generation performance from deteriorating. Further, since the speaker lid 23 disposed in front of the speaker waterproof sheet 22 is a metal plate member, the heat in the speaker storage chamber 2e can easily escape to the outside, and the pressure in the speaker storage chamber 2e also increases from this point. It can be suppressed. Thus, the waterproof performance can be improved, and the deterioration of the sound generation performance of the speaker 9 can be suppressed.

Moreover, since the thickness of the ventilation sheet 11 can be increased and the micropore formed in the ventilation sheet 11 can be made small by comprising in this way, the waterproof performance of the ventilation sheet 11 can be increased.

Next, a digital camera that is an imaging apparatus (electronic device) according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described.
FIG. 3 shows a longitudinal section of the main part of the digital camera of the present embodiment, which corresponds to the AA section of FIG.

The digital camera 1B of the present embodiment is different from the digital camera 1 of the first embodiment in the isolation structure of the speaker storage chamber, and the other configuration is the same. Therefore, the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and different parts will be described below.

As in the case of the first embodiment, the speaker cover 23 is disposed on the back side of the rear cover 2b of the digital camera 1B of the present embodiment, and the speaker 9 is disposed on the inner side of the sound hole 2d provided inside thereof. A concave speaker storage chamber 2e is provided. A slight gap is provided on the speaker lid 23 side of the sound hole 2d, and the speaker waterproof sheet 22 is affixed in a sealed state.

An isolation space 2f for forming an air layer with a predetermined gap is provided outside the isolation plate 24 serving as a first isolation wall of the speaker storage chamber 2e, and the isolation space 2f is further separated by a sub isolation plate 27 serving as a second isolation wall. Seal. The sub-separation plate 27 is formed of a plate member having a low thermal conductivity, such as a heat insulating material, similarly to the separation plate 24, and is fixed to the speaker storage chamber 2e of the rear cover 2b by screws 29 with a sealing packing 28 interposed therebetween. Is done.

In the digital camera 1B of the present embodiment, when the inside of the casing (inside the front and rear covers) is heated by a heat generating member such as the ASIC 8, the speaker storage chamber 2e is separated from the inside of the casing by the sub-separator 27 and the separator. Since it is isolated by a double heat insulating member 24, heat is hardly transmitted from the inside of the housing. Therefore, it is possible to efficiently suppress an increase in pressure in the speaker storage chamber 2e, and it is possible to more reliably prevent a decrease in sound generation performance of the speaker 9.

Moreover, since the isolation space 2f itself which is an air layer formed between the sub isolation wall 27 and the isolation wall 24 also has a heat insulating effect, a higher heat insulating effect can be obtained. Even if the sub-isolation wall 27 and the isolation wall 24 are formed of a material other than the heat insulating material, the heat insulating effect by the isolation space 2f can be obtained.

Next, a digital camera which is an imaging apparatus (electronic device) according to a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 4 shows a longitudinal section (including the area around the speaker) of the main part of the digital camera of the present embodiment, which corresponds to the section AA in FIG. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view around the pressure adjustment sheet in the digital camera, showing a state where the pressure adjustment sheet is expanded.

The digital camera 1C according to the present embodiment has a speaker housing structure different from that of the digital camera 1 according to the first embodiment, and further includes a pressure adjustment structure. Others have the same configuration. Therefore, the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and different parts will be described below.

In the digital camera 1C of the present embodiment, a speaker lid 23 is disposed on the back surface of the rear cover 2b and a sound hole 2d is provided on the inner side thereof, as in the first embodiment. A speaker 9 is fixed inside the sound hole 2d. A slight gap is provided on the speaker lid 23 side of the sound hole 2d, and the speaker waterproof sheet 22 is affixed in a sealed state. However, the speaker storage chamber 2e for isolating the speaker 9 is not provided.

Like the first embodiment, the front cover 2a is provided with a ventilation sheet 11 and a protective plate 12, and further provided with a pressure adjusting opening 2g at a lower position thereof. A pressure adjusting sheet 31 made of a sheet or the like is attached in a sealed state. Further, a pressure adjustment sheet lid 32 having a vent hole 32a is fixed in a state where a predetermined gap is provided in front of the pressure adjustment sheet 31.

The size (area) S2 of the pressure adjusting opening 2g is set larger than the size (area) S1 of the sound hole 2d of the rear cover 2b. When the internal pressure rises due to the heat of the heat generating member in the housing, the pressure adjustment sheet 31 expands more than the waterproof sheet 22. FIG. 5 shows a state where the pressure adjustment sheet 31 is expanded. The expansion of the pressure adjustment sheet 31 increases the volume in the housing, suppresses a rapid increase in internal pressure, and reduces the expansion of the speaker waterproof sheet 22.

In order to perform more effective pressure adjustment, there are methods such as making the thickness of the pressure adjustment sheet 31 thinner than that of the speaker waterproof sheet 22 or reducing the rubber hardness of the pressure adjustment sheet 31.

In the digital camera 1 </ b> C of the present embodiment having the above-described configuration, even if the internal pressure is increased due to heat generated by the ASIC 8 or the like inside the casing (inside the front cover), as described above, the pressure adjustment sheet is more than the speaker waterproof sheet 22. 31 swells more greatly, a rapid pressure rise inside the housing is suppressed, and the expansion of the speaker waterproof sheet 22 can be reduced. Therefore, a decrease in the sound generation performance of the speaker 9 can be avoided. After a certain amount of time has passed, the sound pressure of the speaker 9 is maintained because the internal pressure is lowered by the action of the ventilation sheet 11.

Next, a digital camera which is an imaging apparatus (electronic apparatus) according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 6 shows a longitudinal section of the main part of the digital camera of the present embodiment, which corresponds to the AA section of FIG.

The digital camera 1D of the present embodiment differs from the digital camera 1C of the third embodiment only in the pressure adjustment unit, and the rest has the same configuration. Accordingly, the same constituent members as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and different parts from the third embodiment will be described below.

In the digital camera 1D of the present embodiment, as the pressure adjustment unit, the front cover 2a is provided with a thin portion 2h for pressure adjustment instead of the pressure adjustment sheet 31, and the thin portion 2h expands larger than the speaker waterproof sheet 22 as the pressure increases. Let It is effective that the thickness of the thin portion 2h is as thin as possible, and its size (area) S2 is also set larger than the size (area) S1 of the sound hole 2d of the rear cover 2b.

The digital camera 1D according to the present embodiment has the same effects as the digital camera 1C according to the third embodiment. In particular, the structure of the pressure adjustment unit is simple, which is advantageous in terms of cost.

Next, a digital camera which is an imaging apparatus (electronic device) according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 7 shows a longitudinal section of the main part of the digital camera of the present embodiment, which corresponds to the AA section of FIG.

The digital camera 1E of the present embodiment is different from the digital camera 1 of the first embodiment in that a pressure adjusting unit is further housed in the speaker housing chamber in addition to the speaker, and the other configuration is the same. Yes. Therefore, the same reference numerals are given to the same components in the first embodiment, and different parts will be described below.

In the digital camera 1E of the present embodiment, a long speaker lid 35 having a sound hole group 35a and a vent hole 35b is disposed on the back surface of the rear cover 2b. A plate member having a high thermal conductivity, such as a metal plate, is applied to the speaker lid 35.

A sound hole 2d is provided below the speaker cover 35 of the rear cover 2b, and a pressure adjusting opening 2j is provided above the inside. A concave speaker storage chamber 2i is provided inside the sound hole 2d and the pressure adjusting opening 2j.

The speaker 9 is attached to the sound hole 2d side below the speaker storage chamber 2i. The lead wire 21 of the speaker 9 is connected to the electric control board 7 through a separator plate 37 described later.

A speaker waterproof sheet 22 made of a non-breathable waterproof member made of a silicon rubber sheet or the like that can be elastically deformed with a slight gap on the speaker lid 35 side of the sound hole 2d is attached in a sealed state.

Further, a pressure adjusting sheet 36 made of a thin silicon rubber sheet or the like that can be elastically deformed with a slight gap on the side of the speaker lid 35 of the pressure adjusting opening 2j is attached in a sealed state.

The size (area) S2 of the pressure adjusting opening 2j is set to be larger than the size (area) S1 of the sound hole 2d, and when the internal pressure of the housing is about to rise, the pressure is larger than that of the waterproof sheet 22. The adjustment sheet 36 is greatly expanded to reduce the pressure inside the speaker storage chamber 2i. In order to perform more effective pressure adjustment, it is necessary to make the thickness of the pressure adjustment sheet 36 thinner than that of the speaker waterproof sheet 22 or to lower the rubber hardness of the pressure adjustment sheet 36.

A separating plate 37 as a separating means is attached to the end surface inside the housing of the speaker storage chamber 2i with a screw 39 with a sealing packing 38 interposed therebetween. The separator plate 37 is a heat insulating material such as a glass fiber sheet and is formed of a rigid plate member having a low thermal conductivity. Therefore, the inside of the speaker storage chamber 2i is pressure-isolated from the inside of the other casing, and heat transfer from the inside of the casing is small.

In the digital camera 1E of the present embodiment having the above-described configuration, when the inside of the casing (inside the front and rear covers) is heated by a heat generating member such as the ASIC 8 and the internal pressure rises, the speaker storage chamber 2i is separated from the inside of the casing. Since it is isolated and sealed with a separator 37 having a low thermal conductivity, the pressure inside the housing is not transmitted, and the heat inside the housing is not easily transmitted to the speaker storage chamber 2i. Accordingly, the internal pressure of the speaker storage chamber 2i is unlikely to rise, and the deterioration of the sound generation performance of the speaker 9 can be suppressed.

Furthermore, when heating in the housing proceeds and a slight amount of heat is transmitted to the speaker storage chamber 2i, the pressure adjustment sheet 36 expands to reduce the internal pressure of the speaker storage chamber 2i. 9 is unlikely to deteriorate the pronunciation performance. Further, since the speaker storage chamber 2i is a narrow space isolated as compared with the entire camera casing, it is easy to adjust the pressure, and the size of the pressure adjustment sheet is larger than that when adjusting the pressure in the entire camera casing. The thickness can be reduced.

In the digital camera 1E of the present embodiment, since the pressure adjustment sheet 36 is disposed in the isolated speaker storage chamber 2i, more effective pressure adjustment is performed, and a decrease in sound generation performance of the speaker 9 is more reliably suppressed.

Next, a digital camera which is an imaging apparatus according to the sixth embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 8 shows a longitudinal section of the main part of the digital camera of the present embodiment, which corresponds to the AA section of FIG.

The digital camera 1F of this embodiment has a pressure adjustment structure added to the digital camera 1 of the first embodiment. Others have the same configuration. Therefore, the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and different parts will be described below.

In the digital camera 1F of the present embodiment, a speaker lid 23 is disposed on the back surface of the rear cover 2b and a sound hole 2d is provided on the inner side thereof, as in the first embodiment. Further, a concave speaker storage chamber 2e is provided along the inside of the sound hole, and a speaker 9 is disposed in the speaker storage chamber.

Further, as in the first embodiment, a separating plate 24 as a separating means is attached to the end surface inside the housing of the speaker storage chamber 2e by a screw 26 with a sealing packing 25 sandwiched therebetween. A slight gap is provided on the speaker lid 23 side of the sound hole 2d, and the speaker waterproof sheet 22 is affixed in a sealed state.

A pressure adjusting opening 2k is provided in the lower part of the front cover 2a, and a pressure adjusting sheet 41 made of a thin silicon rubber sheet or the like that can be elastically deformed is attached to the front surface thereof in a sealed state. Further, the pressure adjustment sheet lid 42 is fixed in a state where a predetermined gap is provided in front of the pressure adjustment sheet 41. A vent opening 42 a that opens toward the lower side of the camera is provided at the lower end of the pressure adjustment sheet lid 42.

The size (area) S2 of the pressure adjusting opening 2k is set to be larger than the size (area) S1 of the sound hole 2d of the rear cover 2b, and when the internal pressure of the housing is going to rise, the speaker waterproof sheet 22 is set. The pressure adjustment sheet 41 expands more than the pressure adjustment pressure. In order to perform more effective pressure adjustment, there are methods such as making the thickness of the pressure adjustment sheet 41 thinner than that of the speaker waterproof sheet 22 or reducing the rubber hardness of the pressure adjustment sheet 41.

In the digital camera 1F of the present embodiment having the above-described configuration, the inside of the casing (inside the front cover and the rear cover) is heated by a heat generating member such as the ASIC 8 and the speaker waterproof sheet 22 as described above even if the internal pressure increases. However, the pressure is reduced by the pressure adjustment sheet 41 being greatly expanded. In particular, since the speaker housing chamber 2e is isolated from the inside of the housing and insulated by the separator plate 24, the swelling of the speaker waterproof sheet 22 can be more reliably suppressed, and deterioration of the sound output of the speaker 9 can be prevented. Further, since the ventilation opening 42a of the pressure adjusting portion is opened on the lower side of the camera, the ventilation opening 42a is not visible from the upper side of the camera, which is preferable in terms of design.

In the above description of each embodiment, the configuration of the speaker storage chamber has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the same configuration can be applied to a camera that stores a microphone that is a sound collection member. Can play.
