Abstract
【解決手段】高温でガスタービン部品を保護するための改良組成物は、MCrAlY型のものであり、式中のMはニッケル又はニッケルとコバルト、鉄又はこれらの組合せから選択される。本組成物はさらに、ルテニウム、レニウム又はこれらの組合せ及び4族金属(例えば、ハフニウム、ジルコニウム、チタン)を含み、さらにはケイ素及び/又はゲルマニウムを含み得る。この場合、本組成物は向上したアルミニウム拡散特性をもたらす。また、本組成物を含んでなる物品も開示される。

Description
以下の実施例は、開示された組成物をオーバーレイ皮膜として使用した場合に得られる向上した性質を例示している。その開示内容は例示的なものであり、本発明をそれに限定するものと見なすべきでない。例1〜3は本発明の実施例であり、例4は比較例である。
比較例4は、ケイ素もハフニウムも拡散制限金属も添加しない基線組成物である。実施例1、2及び3はそれぞれ、表中に示すように、同じ量のケイ素及びハフニウム、異なる量の拡散制限金属(ルテニウム及び/又はレニウム)、並びに可変量のコバルトを含んでいる。
Claims (20)
- MCrAlY組成物、
ハフニウム、ジルコニウム、チタン及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される4族金属、並びに
ルテニウム、レニウム及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される拡散制限金属
を含んでなる組成物であって、Mはニッケル又はニッケルと、コバルト、鉄及びコバルトと鉄の組合せからなる群から選択される金属との組合せであり、Crはクロムであり、Alはアルミニウムであり、Yはイットリウムである、組成物。 - さらに、ケイ素、ゲルマニウム及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される14族元素を含む、請求項1記載の組成物。
- Mの量が組成物の総重量を基準にして約10〜約80重量%である、請求項1記載の組成物。
- Mがニッケルである場合、ニッケルの量が組成物の総重量を基準にして約20〜約80重量%であり、さらにMがニッケルと鉄、コバルト又は鉄及びコバルトとの組合せである場合、ニッケルの量が組成物の総重量を基準にして約20〜約40重量%であり、コバルト及び鉄の総量が組成物の総重量を基準にして約10〜約60重量%である、請求項1記載の組成物。
- Mがニッケルとコバルトの組合せであり、当該組成物が鉄を実質的に含まない、請求項4記載の組成物。
- クロムの量が組成物の総重量を基準にして約5〜約30重量%である、請求項1記載の組成物。
- アルミニウムの量が組成物の総重量を基準にして約5〜約20重量%である、請求項1記載の組成物。
- イットリウムの量が組成物の総重量を基準にして約0.05〜約5重量%である、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 4族金属の量が組成物の総重量を基準にして約0.05〜約5重量%である、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 拡散制限金属の量が組成物の総重量を基準にして約0.1〜約15重量%である、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 14族元素の量が組成物の総重量を基準にして約0.1〜約5重量%である、請求項2記載の組成物。
- 4族金属がハフニウムである、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 4族金属がチタンである、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 当該組成物がレニウムを実質的に含まない、請求項1記載の組成物。
- さらに、それぞれ約3重量%未満のパラジウム、白金、ロジウム、ランタニド金属又はこれらの組合せを含む、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 当該組成物の総重量を基準にして、
約16〜約50重量%のコバルト、
約25〜約35重量%のニッケル、
約15〜約25重量%のクロム、
約7〜約15重量%のアルミニウム、
約0.1〜約3重量%のイットリウム、
約0.1〜約1重量%のハフニウム、
ルテニウム、レニウム及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される約1〜約10重量%の拡散制限金属、並びに
約0.5〜約3重量%のケイ素
を含んでなる組成物。 - 請求項1記載の組成物を含んでなる物品であって、該組成物が物品の表面上に配設されている、物品。
- 該組成物が物品の裸の表面上に配設されているか、或いは予備配設された組成物を含む表面上に配設されている、請求項17記載の物品。
- 当該物品が、パラジウム、白金、ロジウム、4族金属、ケイ素及びゲルマニウムを実質的に含まない組成物を含んでなる他の点では全く同一の物品に比べて向上した耐酸化性を有する、請求項17記載の物品。
- 当該物品がガスタービン部品である、請求項17記載の物品。
