Abstract

図6は、好ましい順方向RSVPメッセージを示しており、順方向「(FORWARD)」のオブジェクト58F1〜58FNのみが含まれている。RFC2205では、各ユーザ(ユーザAおよびユーザBのそれぞれ)が発信側ユーザである。方向インジケータ542の値「0011」は、逆方向(発信側ユーザは情報の受信のみ)を示す。図7に、好ましい逆方向RSVPメッセージを示している。
Claims (3)
- 2人のユーザのうちの少なくとも一方が無線ユーザである少なくとも2人のユーザ間で、無線パケットベースのセッションを確立するための方法であって、
少なくとも2人のユーザのうちの第1のユーザが、前記2人のユーザのうちの第2のユーザに、予約セットアッププロトコル(RSVP)PATHメッセージを送信する工程と、
ここで、該RSVP PATHメッセージは、前記第1のユーザから前記第2のユーザへの送信、および前記第2のユーザから前記第1のユーザへの送信用にリソースを予約するための情報を含み、
前記第2のユーザによる前記RSVP PATHメッセージの受信に応答して、前記第2のユーザは前記第1のユーザにRSVP予約(RESV)メッセージを送信し、前記RSVP RESVメッセージが少なくとも1つのパケットベースのネットワークを介して送信される間、前記第1および第2のユーザからの前記送信用にリソースが予約される工程と、
前記第1および第2のユーザが前記予約されたリソースを使用してセッション情報を送信する工程と
を具えたことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第1のユーザによる前記RSVP RESVメッセージの受信に応答して、前記第1のユーザは、REVP RESVメッセージの受信を確認するために前記第2のユーザにRSVP確認メッセージを送信する工程をさらに具えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2のユーザは、それぞれ無線ユーザであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
