Abstract

Claims (10)
- 高圧圧縮機(14)、燃焼器(16)及び高圧タービン(18)を含むコアガスタービンエンジン(13)と;
前記コアガスタービンエンジンから軸方向後方に結合された低圧タービン(20)と;
前記コアガスタービンエンジンから軸方向前方に結合されたファンアセンブリ(12)と;
前記低圧タービンと共に第1の回転速度で回転するように、前記低圧タービンに結合されたブースタ圧縮機(22)とを具備するタービンエンジンアセンブリ。 - 前記低圧タービン(20)に結合された駆動軸(31)と;
前記ファンアセンブリ(12)が前記第1の回転速度とは異なる第2の回転速度で回転するように、前記駆動軸と前記ファンアセンブリとの間に結合された歯車箱(100)とを更に具備する請求項1記載のタービンエンジンアセンブリ。 - 前記低圧タービン(20)に結合された駆動軸(31)と;
前記ファンアセンブリ(12)が前記ブースタ圧縮機(22)の回転速度より遅い第2の回転速度で回転するように、前記駆動軸と前記ファンアセンブリとの間に結合された歯車箱(100)とを更に具備する請求項1記載のタービンエンジンアセンブリ。 - 前記駆動軸(31)と前記歯車箱(100)との間に結合され、前記低圧タービン(20)及び前記ブースタ圧縮機(22)により発生されたスラスト荷重を土台へ伝達するように構成された第1のスラスト軸受アセンブリ(110)を更に具備する請求項2記載のタービンエンジンアセンブリ。
- 前記歯車箱(100)と前記ファンアセンブリ(12)との間に結合され、前記ファンアセンブリにより発生されたスラスト荷重を土台へ伝達するように構成された第2のスラスト軸受アセンブリ(120)を更に具備する請求項2記載のタービンエンジンアセンブリ。
- 前記歯車箱は、ほぼ環状体形の横断面プロファイルを有し、前記駆動軸(31)をほぼ取り囲む請求項2記載のタービンエンジンアセンブリ。
- 前記低圧タービン(20)に結合された駆動軸(31)と;
前記ファンアセンブリ(12)が前記ブースタ圧縮機(22)とは逆の方向に回転するように、前記駆動軸と前記ファンアセンブリとの間に結合された歯車箱(100)とを更に具備する請求項1記載のタービンエンジンアセンブリ。 - 前記低圧タービン(20)に結合された駆動軸(31)と;
前記ファンアセンブリ(12)に結合された歯車箱(100)と;
前記駆動軸と前記歯車箱との間に結合された撓み結合部(108)とを更に具備する請求項1記載のタービンエンジンアセンブリ。 - 前記ブースタ圧縮機(22)は、前記ファンアセンブリ(12)の圧縮比及び前記ガスタービンエンジンアセンブリの総圧縮比に基づく所定の量の圧縮機段(40)を具備する請求項1記載のタービンエンジンアセンブリ。
- 前記ファンアセンブリ(12)及び前記歯車箱(100)を支持するように構成されたフレーム(111)を更に具備し、前記フレームは、前記ファンアセンブリの半径方向モーメント、スラストモーメント及び転倒モーメントを外側エンジン構造及びエンジンマウントへ搬送するように構成される請求項1記載のタービンエンジンアセンブリ。
