Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、有機発光ダイオードディスプレイ装置用の画素駆動回路を与える。該画素駆動回路は、第1の端子と第2の端子を有する有機発光ダイオードに適合され、該第1の端子は第1の電圧ソースと結合される。画素駆動回路は、制御回路、駆動トランジスタ、及びダイオードを具備する。該制御回路は、有機発光ダイオードに供給された有機発光ダイオードの電流を制御する制御信号を発生させる。該駆動トランジスタは、第1のドレイン/ソース端子、第2のドレイン/ソース端子、及びゲート端子を有する。該ゲート端子は、該チャンネルを流れる有機発光ディスプレイの電流を調節する為に、第1のドレイン/ソース端子と第2のドレイン/ソース端子との間のチャネルを制御する制御信号を受信する。更に、該ダイオードは、該チャンネルと第2の電圧ソースとの間を結合する。

Claims (11)
- 有機発光ディスプレイ装置用の画素駆動回路であって、該画素駆動回路は、有機発光ディスプレイを駆動し、該有機発光ディスプレイは、第1の端子と第2の端子とを有し、該第1の端子が、第1の電圧源に結合されている画素駆動回路において、
制御信号を発生して、有機発光ディスプレイに供給される有機発光ディスプレイ電流を制御する第1の制御回路と、
第1のドレイン/ソース端子と、第2のドレイン/ソース端子と、ゲート端子とを有する駆動トランジスタとを備え、該ゲート端子は、制御信号を受け取り、第1のドレイン/ソース端子と第2のドレイン/ソース端子との間のチャンネルを制御して、該チャンネルを流れる前記ディスプレイ電流を調節し、更に、
該チャンネルと第2の電圧源とを結合するダイオードと、
を備えることを特徴とする画素駆動回路。 - 前記駆動トランジスタが、前記有機発光ディスプレイの第2の端子に直接結合する請求項1記載の画素駆動回路。
- 前記駆動トランジスタと前記有機発光ディスプレイとの間を結合し、前記有機発光ディスプレイ電流が前記有機発光ディスプレイへ供給されるか否かを制御する第2の制御回路を、更に、備える請求項1記載の画素駆動回路。
- 第1の型にドーピングされたチャネルに結合された第1の領域と、
前記第1の領域に連結して、且つ、第2の型にドーピングされた第2の領域とを備えており、
前記第1の領域は、真性領域又は第2の型のドーパントにより軽度にドーピングされており、
前記第1の領域が軽度にドーピングされた場合、前記第2の領域が前記第1の領域よりも高いドーピング濃度を有する請求項1記載の画素駆動回路。 - 前記第1の型にドーピングされた領域がN型にドーピングされ、そして前記第2の型にドーピングされた領域がP型にドーピングされた請求項4記載の画素駆動回路。
- 前記第1の型にドーピングされた領域がP型にドーピングされ、そして第2の型にドーピングされた領域がN型にドーピングされた請求項4記載の画素駆動回路。
- 前記ダイオードが、
第1の型にドーピングされたチャネルに結合された第1の領域と、
該第1の領域に結合され、且つ、第2の型にドーピングされた第2の領域と、
該第2の領域に連結され、且つ、第2の型にドーピングされた第3の領域とを有し、
前記第1の領域が、真性領域または第2の型のドーパントにより軽度にドーピングされた領域であり、
前記第1の領域が軽度にドーピングされたとき、前記第2の領域が該第1の領域よりも高いドーピング濃度を有し、
前記第3の領域が前記第2の領域よりも高いドーピング濃度を有する請求項1記載の画素駆動回路。 - 前記第1の型にドーピングされた領域がN型にドーピングされ、そして前記第2の型にドーピングされた領域がP型にドーピングされた請求項7記載の画素駆動回路。
- 第1の型にドーピングされた領域がP型にドーピングされ、そして第2の型にドーピングされた領域がN型にドーピングされた請求項7記載の画素駆動回路。
- データ信号を与えるデータドライバと、
スキャン信号を与えるスキャンドライバと、
複数の有機発光ディスプレイ画素を有するアクティブエリアと、
を備え、該有機発光ディスプレイ画素の少なくとも1つが、
第1の端子と第2の端子とを含み、且つ、該第1の端子は第1の電圧源に結合している有機発光ディスプレイと、
制御信号を発生して、前記データ信号と前記スキャン信号に従って該有機発光ディスプレイに供給される有機発光ディスプレイ電流を制御する制御回路と、
第1のドレイン/ソース端子と、第2のドレイン/ソース端子と、ゲート端子とを含む駆動トランジスタと、を有し、前記ゲート端子は、制御信号を受信し、前記第1のドレイン/ソース端子と前記第2のドレイン/ソース端子との間のチャネルを制御して、該チャンネルを流れる有機発光ディスプレイ電流を調節し、更に、
前記チャンネルと第2の電圧源とを結合するダイオードと、を有する
ことを特徴とする有機発光ディスプレイ装置。 - 画像の表示に使用される画像信号を発生する信号発生器と、
有機発光ディスプレイ装置と、を備えており、該有機発光ディスプレイ装置は、
前記画像信号によりデータ信号を与えるデータドライバと、
スキャン信号を与えるスキャンドライバと、
画像表示用の複数の有機発光ディスプレイ画素を有するアクティブエリアと、を有し、該有機発光ディスプレイ画素の少なくとも1つが、
第1の端子と第2の端子とを含み、且つ、該第1の端子は第1の電圧源に結合している有機発光ディスプレイと、
制御信号を発生して、前記データ信号と前記スキャン信号に従って該有機発光ディスプレイに供給される有機発光ディスプレイ電流を制御する制御回路と、
第1のドレイン/ソース端子と、第2のドレイン/ソース端子と、ゲート端子とを含む駆動トランジスタと、を有し、前記ゲート端子は、制御信号を受信し、前記第1のドレイン/ソース端子と前記第2のドレイン/ソース端子との間のチャネルを制御して、該チャンネルを流れる有機発光ディスプレイ電流を調節し、更に、
前記チャンネルと第2の電圧源とを結合するダイオードと、を有する
