【解決手段】本フィルタ1Aは、互いに突き合されて濾過室Sを形成する合成樹脂製の第1ケース部材(上部ケース部材2)及び第2ケース部材(下部ケース部材3)と、濾材5と、該濾材の周縁部を保持し且つ前記第1ケース部材及び前記第2ケース部材のそれぞれの突合せ端部2b,3bの間に挟持される合成樹脂製の保持枠6と、を有するフィルタエレメント4と、を備え、前記第1ケース部材及び前記第2ケース部材のうちの少なくとも一方のケース部材の突合せ端部と前記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との間の突合せ方向Pに延びる接触面部にはレーザ光による溶着部w1,w2が設けられている。

Description
上記特許文献1には、例えば、図12に示すように、アッパーケース102の下端縁に接合部102aを形成し、ロアーケース103の上端縁及びスクリーンフレーム104の外縁に、アッパーケース102の接合部102aに対向する各接合部103a,104aを形成することが開示されている。

6.上記1.乃至5.のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタの製造方法であって、
前記第1ケース部材及び前記第2ケース部材のそれぞれの突合せ端部の間に、前記フィルタエレメントの保持枠を挟持させる工程と、
前記第1ケース部材及び前記第2ケース部材のうちの少なくとも一方のケース部材の突合せ端部と前記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との間の突合せ方向に延びる接触面部に、レーザ光を照射して前記溶着部を形成する工程と、を備えることを特徴とするフィルタの製造方法。
また、前記一方のケース部材及び前記フィルタエレメントのうちの一方に凸部が設けられ、他方に凹部が設けられ、前記溶着部が、該凸部及び該凹部の嵌合部位の外側面側に設けられている場合は、凸部及び凹部の嵌合によって、レーザ溶着時の接合部の反りを抑制して必要十分な密着強度を得ることができる。また、溶着部を濾過室から十分に離れて配設でき、溶着部の付近で溶着バリが発生しても、そのバリの濾過室内への侵入を抑制できる。その結果、フィルタとしての製品性能の低下を防止できる。
また、前記凸部及び前記凹部の嵌合部位の内側面側にテーパ面が設けられている場合は、テーパ面の機械的接合力によって、レーザ溶着時の接合部の反りをより確実に抑制できる。また、テーパ面によって、一方のケース部材及びフィルタエレメントの保持枠の寸法精度のバラツキが吸収されて、両部材をより正確に位置決めできる。また、テーパ面によって、凸部及び凹部の嵌合部位の内側面側における嵌合距離を長くでき、溶着部の付近で発生する溶着バリの濾過室内への侵入をより確実に抑制できる。
また、前記一方のケース部材及び前記フィルタエレメントのうちの一方に嵌合部が設けられ、他方に被嵌合部が設けられている場合は、凸部及び凹部の嵌合に加えて、嵌合部及び被嵌合部の嵌合によって、レーザ溶着時の接合部の反りをより確実に抑制できる。
また、前記第1ケース部材と前記フィルタエレメントとの接触面部にレーザ光による第1溶着部が設けられ、前記第2ケース部材と前記フィルタエレメントとの接触面部にレーザ光による第2溶着部が設けられている場合は、それらの溶着部によって、第1ケース部材、第2ケース部材及びフィルタエレメントが強固に一体化される。
本実施形態に係るフィルタは、以下に述べる第1ケース部材、第2ケース部材及びフィルタエレメントを備えている。
上記各ケース部材の形状としては、例えば、一方を開放した箱状、皿状、椀状、平板状等を挙げることができる。
上記各ケース部材の材質としては、例えば、レーザ透過性を有する合成樹脂材料を採用したり、レーザ吸収性を有する合成樹脂材料を採用したりできる。
上記濾材の形状としては、例えば、ひだ折り状、シート状、波状等を挙げることができる。また、濾材の材質としては、例えば、不織布、織物、紙等を挙げることができる。
上記保持枠の材質としては、例えば、レーザ透過性を有する合成樹脂材料を採用したり、レーザ吸収性を有する合成樹脂材料を採用したりすることができる。
上記溶着部は、例えば、上記接触面部に向って上記フィルタの側方からレーザ光を照射して形成されていることができる。
また、上記凸部及び凹部は、例えば、凸部の先端面と凹部の底面側との間に隙間空間をもって嵌合されることができる。これにより、第1ケース部材及びフィルタエレメントの寸法精度のバラツキをより確実に吸収できる。
また、上記凸部及び凹部とは別に、例えば、上記一方のケース部材の突合せ端部及び上記フィルタエレメントの保持枠のうちの一方には、突合せ方向に突出する嵌合部が設けられており、他方には、この嵌合部と嵌合する被嵌合部が設けられていることができる。この嵌合部及び被嵌合部は、各ケース部材の全周に連続して設けられていたり、各ケース部材の全周に沿って所定間隔で設けられていたりできる。
(1)上記第1ケース部材の突合せ端部と上記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との間の突合せ方向に延びる接触面部にレーザ光による第1溶着部が設けられており、上記第2ケース部材の突合せ端部と上記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との間の突合せ方向に延びる接触面部にレーザ光による第2溶着部が設けられている形態。
(2)上記第1ケース部材の突合せ端部と上記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との間の突合せ方向に延びる接触面部にレーザ光による第1溶着部が設けられており、上記第2ケース部材の突合せ端部と上記第1ケース部材の突合せ端部との間の突合せ方向に延びる接触面部にレーザ光による第2溶着部が設けられている形態。
これらのうち、フィルタをより小型化できるといった観点から、上記(1)形態であることが好ましい。
また、上記(1)(2)形態における第1及び第2溶着部の形成形態としては、例えば、(a)1つのレーザ光によって第1及び第2溶着部を同時に形成する形態、(b)2つのレーザ光によって第1及び第2溶着部を同時に形成する形態、(c)1つのレーザ光によって第1及び第2溶着部を順番に形成する形態等を挙げることができる。各溶着部をより簡易且つ安価に形成できるといった観点から、上記(a)形態であることが好ましい。
また、上記(1)(2)形態では、例えば、上記第1溶着部及び第2溶着部は、突合せ方向に直交する方向の位相が一致して配設されており、フィルタの外側面から第1及び第2溶着部までの距離が略同じ値に設定されていることができる。これにより、レーザ光の焦点等を変えることなく、1つのレーザ光で略同じ形状・大きさの第1及び第2溶着部を同時に形成できる。
本実施形態に係るフィルタの製造方法は、上記実施形態1.に係るフィルタの製造方法であって、上記第1ケース部材及び上記第2ケース部材のそれぞれの突合せ端部の間に、上記フィルタエレメントの保持枠を挟持させる工程と、上記第1ケース部材及び上記第2ケース部材のうちの少なくとも一方のケース部材の突合せ端部と上記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との突合せ方向に延びる接触面部に、レーザ光を照射して上記溶着部を形成する工程と、を備えることを特徴とする。
また、上記保持枠を挟持させる工程では、例えば、上記凸部及び凹部とは別に、上記一方のケース部材の突合せ端部及び上記フィルタエレメントの保持枠のうちの一方に設けられた上記嵌合部と、他方に設けられた上記被嵌合部とが嵌合されることができる。
また、上記溶着部を形成する工程では、例えば、上記第1ケース部材の突合せ端部と上記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との突合せ方向に延びる接触面部に、レーザ光を照射して上記第1溶着部を形成すると共に、上記第2ケース部材の突合せ端部と上記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との突合せ方向に延びる接触面部に、レーザ光を照射して上記第2溶着部を形成することができる。
本実施例1に係るフィルタ1Aは、図1及び2に示すように、互いに突き合されて濾過室Sを形成する矩形皿状の上部ケース部材2(本発明に係る「第1ケース部材」として例示する。)及び下部ケース部材3(本発明に係る「第2ケース部材」として例示する。)と、これら各ケース部材2,3の間に挟持されるフィルタエレメント4と、を備えている。下部ケース部材3には、汚染されたオイルの流入口7aが形成され、上部ケース部材2には、濾過されたオイルの流出口7bが形成されている。
なお、上記レーザ光の照射は、各ケース部材2,3を突合せ方向Pに加圧した状態で、フィルタ1Aの外周に沿って連続して一様に行われる。従って、上記第1及び第2溶着部w1,w2はフィルタ1Aの外周に沿って連続して形成されている。
自動変速機用オイルが流入口7aからフィルタ1Aの濾過室Sのダスティ側に導入される。ダスティ側に導入されたオイルは濾材5を通過して濾過室Sのクリーン側に至る。このようにオイルが濾材5を通過する際に、オイルの中に含まれている異物、濾材5によって除去される。異物、不純物を除去されたオイルはこの濾過室Sのクリーン側から流出口7bを経て、フィルタ1Aの外に流れ出る。
また、本実施例1のフィルタ1Aでは、ひだ折り状の濾材5及び保持枠6からなるフィルタエレメント4を各ケース部材2,3の間に挟持するようにしたので、ひだ折り状の濾材を直接的に各ケース部材の間に挟持させるものに比べて、各ケース部材に対する濾材の組付性を向上させ得る。
本実施例2に係るフィルタ1Bは、図5に示すように、上部ケース部材2及び下部ケース部材3と、これら各ケース部材2,3の間に挟持されるフィルタエレメント4と、を備えている。なお、本実施例2において、実施例1と略同じ構成部位には同じ符号を付け詳説を省略し、以下に実施例1との主な相違点について説明する。
本実施例3に係るフィルタ1Cは、図6に示すように、上部ケース部材2及び下部ケース部材3と、これら各ケース部材2,3の間に挟持されるフィルタエレメント4と、を備えている。なお、本実施例3において、実施例1と略同じ構成部位には同じ符号を付け詳説を省略し、以下に実施例1との主な相違点について説明する。
本実施例4に係るフィルタ1Dは、図7に示すように、上部ケース部材2及び下部ケース部材3と、これら各ケース部材2,3の間に挟持されるフィルタエレメント4と、を備えている。なお、本実施例4において、実施例1と略同じ構成部位には同じ符号を付け詳説を省略し、以下に実施例1との主な相違点について説明する。
本実施例5に係るフィルタ1Eは、図8に示すように、上部ケース部材2及び下部ケース部材3と、これら各ケース部材2,3の間に挟持されるフィルタエレメント4と、を備えている。なお、本実施例5において、実施例1と略同じ構成部位には同じ符号を付け詳説を省略し、以下に実施例1との主な相違点について説明する。
本実施例6に係るフィルタ1Fは、図9に示すように、上部ケース部材2及び下部ケース部材3と、これら各ケース部材2,3の間に挟持されるフィルタエレメント4と、を備えている。なお、本実施例6において、実施例1と略同じ構成部位には同じ符号を付け詳説を省略し、以下に実施例1との主な相違点について説明する。
また、上記実施例2では、溶着部w1,w2の外方側(反濾過室側)のみに嵌合部15及び被嵌合部14を設けるようにしたが、これに限定されず、例えば、図10に示すように、溶着部w1,w2の外方側(反濾過室側)及び内方側(濾過室側)に嵌合部43及び被嵌合部44を設けるようにしてもよい。また、溶着部の内方側(濾過室側)のみに嵌合部及び被嵌合部を設けるようにしてもよい。
また、上記実施例1〜6において、フィルタ1A〜1Fの濾過室S内に濾材5が設置されているが、他の内部部品でレーザ光に影響を受ける部品が設置されている場合であっても、保持枠6から濾材5までの距離を長くすれば、レーザの透過率を低減できる。
また、上記実施例1〜6のレーザ光の種類としては、例えば、半導体、気体、固体、液体レーザ光等を挙げることができる。
Claims (6)
- 互いに突き合されて濾過室を形成する合成樹脂製の第1ケース部材及び第2ケース部材と、
濾材と、該濾材の周縁部を保持し且つ前記第1ケース部材及び前記第2ケース部材のそれぞれの突合せ端部の間に挟持される合成樹脂製の保持枠と、を有するフィルタエレメントと、を備え、
前記第1ケース部材及び前記第2ケース部材のうちの少なくとも一方のケース部材の突合せ端部と前記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との間の突合せ方向に延びる接触面部にはレーザ光による溶着部が設けられていることを特徴とするフィルタ。 - 前記一方のケース部材の突合せ端部及び前記フィルタエレメントの保持枠のうちの一方には、突合せ方向に突出する凸部が設けられており、他方には、該凸部と嵌合する凹部が設けられており、前記溶着部は、該凸部及び該凹部の嵌合部位の外側面側に設けられている請求項1記載のフィルタ。
- 前記凸部及び前記凹部の嵌合部位の内側面側にはテーパ面が設けられている請求項2記載のフィルタ。
- 前記凸部及び前記凹部の少なくとも内周側もしくは外周側において、前記一方のケース部材の突合せ端部及び前記フィルタエレメントの保持枠のうちの一方には、突合せ方向に突出する嵌合部が設けられており、他方には、該嵌合部と嵌合する被嵌合部が設けられている請求項2又は3に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記第1ケース部材の突合せ端部と前記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との突合せ方向に延びる接触面部にはレーザ光による第1溶着部が設けられており、前記第2ケース部材の突合せ端部と前記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との突合せ方向に延びる接触面部にはレーザ光による第2溶着部が設けられている請求項1記載のフィルタ。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタの製造方法であって、
前記第1ケース部材及び前記第2ケース部材のそれぞれの突合せ端部の間に、前記フィルタエレメントの保持枠を挟持させる工程と、
前記第1ケース部材及び前記第2ケース部材のうちの少なくとも一方のケース部材の突合せ端部と前記フィルタエレメントの保持枠との間の突合せ方向に延びる接触面部に、レーザ光を照射して前記溶着部を形成する工程と、を備えることを特徴とするフィルタの製造方法。
