Abstract
【解決手段】ウエザストリップ4は、ドア2に対応するドア開口3の周縁部に取着されるトリム部5と、トリム部5から突出し、中空部6Aを有するシール部6とを備えている。ウエザストリップ4は、押出成形された未加硫未発泡の中間成形体のうちシール部6の外表面に対して、単体硫黄、硫黄化合物、又は単体硫黄と硫黄化合物との両方を含む処理液を塗布し、当該中間成形体を加熱ゾーンに通過させて加硫発泡させることで得られる。上記工程を経ることにより、シール部6には、スポンジ層と、当該シール部6の表層部位においてスポンジ層よりも硬いスキン層21とが形成される。また、スキン層21は、幅方向で10mm以上の幅を有し、その厚みは均一で、かつ、0.04mm以上、0.15mm以下の範囲内に設定されている。

前記押出成形部は、スポンジ層と、前記シール部の外表面の表層部位に形成され、前記スポンジ層よりも硬いスキン層とを有し、
前記スキン層は、相手部材との接触部位を含み、前記押出成形部の幅方向で10mm以上の幅を有し、かつ、厚みが均一であり、その厚みは、0.04mm以上、0.15mm以下の範囲内に設定されていることを特徴とするウエザストリップ。
前記押出成形部は、スポンジ層と、前記シール部の外表面の表層部位に形成され、前記スポンジ層よりも硬いスキン層とを有し、
前記スキン層は、ドアの周縁部との接触部位を含み、前記押出成形部の幅方向で10mm以上の幅を有し、かつ、厚みが均一であり、その厚みは、0.04mm以上、0.15mm以下の範囲内に設定されていることを特徴とするウエザストリップ。
前記押出成形部の成形に際し、
未加硫未発泡ゴムが所定形状に押出成形される押出工程と、
前記押出工程によって成形された未加硫未発泡の中間成形体のうち前記シール部の外表面に対し、単体硫黄、硫黄化合物、又は単体硫黄と硫黄化合物との両方を含む処理液が塗布される塗布工程と、
前記塗布工程において前記処理液が塗布された中間成形体が、加熱ゾーンを通過することで、前記処理液が塗布された表面が加熱・加硫されて無発泡状の前記スキン層が形成されるとともに、前記スキン層よりも内部の未加硫未発泡ゴム材が加硫発泡されて前記スポンジ層が形成される加硫発泡工程とを備えることを特徴とするウエザストリップの製造方法。
前記中間成形体のうち少なくとも前記シール部の外表面に向けて前記処理液を噴霧する噴霧手段と、
前記中間成形体のうち前記シール部位外の部位を覆うマスキング手段とを使用して行われることを特徴とする手段3に記載のウエザストリップの製造方法。
Claims (5)
- 車両のドアの周縁部又はドア開口周縁部に沿って設けられ、中空部を有するシール部を具備し、前記シール部がドア閉時にドア開口周縁部又はドアの周縁部と接触する押出成形部を備えたウエザストリップにおいて、
前記押出成形部は、スポンジ層と、前記シール部の外表面の表層部位に形成され、前記スポンジ層よりも硬いスキン層とを有し、
前記スキン層は、相手部材との接触部を含み、前記押出成形部の幅方向で10mm以上の幅を有し、かつ、厚みが均一であり、その厚みは、0.04mm以上、0.15mm以下の範囲内に設定されていることを特徴とするウエザストリップ。 - 車両のドア開口周縁部に沿って設けられた取付部に取付けられる断面略U字状のトリム部と、前記トリム部から突出して設けられ、中空部を有するシール部とを具備し、前記シール部がドア閉時にドアの周縁部と接触する押出成形部を備えたウエザストリップにおいて、
前記押出成形部は、スポンジ層と、前記シール部の外表面の表層部位に形成され、前記スポンジ層よりも硬いスキン層とを有し、
前記スキン層は、ドアの周縁部との接触部を含み、前記押出成形部の幅方向で10mm以上の幅を有し、かつ、厚みが均一であり、その厚みは、0.04mm以上、0.15mm以下の範囲内に設定されていることを特徴とするウエザストリップ。 - 上記請求項1又は2に記載のウエザストリップの製造方法であって、
前記押出成形部の成形に際し、
未加硫未発泡ゴムが所定形状に押出成形される押出工程と、
前記押出工程によって成形された未加硫未発泡の中間成形体のうち前記シール部の外表面に対し、単体硫黄、硫黄化合物、又は単体硫黄と硫黄化合物との両方を含む処理液が塗布される塗布工程と、
前記塗布工程において前記処理液が塗布された中間成形体が、加熱ゾーンを通過することで、前記処理液が塗布された表面が加熱・加硫されて無発泡状の前記スキン層が形成されるとともに、前記スキン層よりも内部の未加硫未発泡ゴム材が加硫発泡されて前記スポンジ層が形成される加硫発泡工程とを備えることを特徴とするウエザストリップの製造方法。 - 前記塗布工程は、
前記中間成形体のうち少なくとも前記シール部の外表面に向けて前記処理液を噴霧する噴霧手段と、
前記中間成形体のうち前記シール部位外の部位を覆うマスキング手段とを使用して行われることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のウエザストリップの製造方法。 - 前記マスキング手段は、前記中間成形体のうち前記シール部以外の部位と前記噴霧手段との間に位置して両者間を遮断する壁部であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のウエザストリップの製造方法。
