Abstract
【解決手段】バッテリーパック400内に消火安全装置100を設置する。消火安全装置は、消火剤とそれを収容する容器とからなり、運転管理システムのみでは抑えられないバッテリーモジュール410の発火、爆発が生じた場合、バッテリーパック内の消火安全装置からパーフルオロケトン等の消火剤を噴霧し、バッテリーパックの温度上昇を抑える。

Claims (8)
- 複数の単位セルを備えた中型又は大型バッテリーパックであって、
前記バッテリーパックが、構造体に構築されてなるものであり、
該構造体が、消火剤としてのパーフルオロケトンを前記バッテリーパックに配置するとともに、前記パーフルオロケトンを密閉状態で所定の容器に収納し、前記バッテリーパックの温度が増加したときに、前記密閉容器が前記パーフルオロケトンの蒸発により生じた蒸気圧の増加により破壊され、それにより前記蒸発したパーフルオロケトンが噴出するものとされてなる、バッテリーパック。 - 前記パーフルオロケトンが、式:CF3CF2C(O)CF(CF3)2により表される化合物である、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記密封容器が、
一端に開口し、かつ、中に前記パーフルオロケトンが収納されている中空ハウジングと、
前記パーフルオロケトンを密封するために前記ハウジングの開口端に取り付けられた、所定の内圧で破壊されるカバー部材とを備えてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記ハウジングが、前記バッテリーパックに取り付けられた閉下端と、前記閉下端から垂直に延びている円筒型側部とを備えてなる、請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記カバー部材が、前記円筒型側部の内上端に取り付けられており、前記カバー部材が前記円筒型側部の内上端に取り付けられている領域にガスケットが配置されている、請求項4に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 内圧が増加したときに、前記カバー部材が容易に破壊されるようにするためのノッチを、前記カバー部材の少なくとも一方の主面に備えられている、請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記パーフルオロケトンが前記ハウジングの中空部に収納されるとともに、前記パーフルオロケトンが膜状シートにより密封されている、請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 2つ以上のハウジングが前記バッテリーパックに取り付けられている、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
