Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrofitted auxiliary handle which allows the operator to easily grip a handle and to open/close a door even if it is located at a physically restricted location, and contributes to reduction of risks of costs, labor, and waste generation accompanying provision thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The retrofitted auxiliary handle is set up by mounting a retrofitted handle main body 1 on a retrofitted handle stand 2 that is fixed to an existing handle. By virtue of a retrofitting mode, the retrofitted auxiliary handle is universally applicable irrespective of the shape of the door, and therefore production costs can be reduced. Further the retrofitted auxiliary handle can be mounted without special work, tools, knowledge, etc. , and therefore it can reduce costs and labor required for mounting the same.
