Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の切削工具10は,複数の面とそれらの間のエッジとで先端部が構成されており,少なくとも1つの面に溝13が形成されているものである。さらに,溝13が格子状に形成されているとともに,その交点位置に溜まり部14が形成されている。また,溝13は,掬い面11aと逃げ面11bとの間のエッジとの間に隙間を残して形成されている。

Description
以下,本発明を具体化した第1の形態について,添付図面を参照しつつ詳細に説明する。本形態は,旋盤切削やフライカット切削に使用される切削工具に本発明を適用したものである。
以下,本発明を具体化した第2の形態について,添付図面を参照しつつ詳細に説明する。本形態は,旋盤切削やフライカット切削に使用される切削工具に本発明を適用したものである。
例えば,上記の各形態では,切刃の逃げ面に溝を形成するとしたが,掬い面にも形成しても良い。
また例えば,逃げ面には第1の形態の格子状溝を,掬い面には第2の形態の集中溝をというように,両形態の溝構成を使い分けても良い。
また例えば,第1の形態で溝と溝との間隔は一様であるように図示したが,先端部に近いほど細かいものとしても良い。また,溝の深さや幅も必ずしも一様でなくとも良い。
また例えば,図示の溝の数や角度等は一例であり,これに限るものではない。

Claims (6)
- 複数の面とそれらの間のエッジとで先端部が構成される切削工具において,
少なくとも1つの面に溝形状が形成されていることを特徴とする切削工具。 - 請求項1に記載の切削工具において,
前記溝形状の一部に,他の部分より幅広な溜まり形状が形成されていることを特徴とする切削工具。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の切削工具において,
前記溝形状が格子状に形成されていることを特徴とする切削工具。 - 請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1つに記載の切削工具において,
前記溝形状は,エッジとの間に隙間を残して形成されていることを特徴とする切削工具。 - 請求項2に記載の切削工具において,
前記溝形状は,前記溜まり形状と先端の頂点とを結んで形成されていることを特徴とする切削工具。 - 請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1つに記載の切削工具において,
溝形状が形成されている面の少なくとも1つが凹面であることを特徴とする切削工具。
