Description

The present invention relates to a water heater with an automatic hot water filling function that automatically supplies a preset amount of hot water to a bathtub.

A hot water can body heated by a burner and a bath heat exchanger are provided, and hot water obtained from the hot water can body is supplied to the bathtub with a predetermined amount of water and filled with hot water that is almost ready for bathing. A water heater with a recuperation function that heats the bath water up to a predetermined temperature by placing a recirculation pump in the recirculation pipe that connects the heat exchanger and operating the recirculation pump to forcibly circulate bath water to the recuperation heat exchanger It has been known.

Recently, a hot water supply machine with an additional hot water supply function has become widespread, and this type of structure has a water supply pipe on the inlet side of the hot water can body and a hot water discharge pipe on the discharge side of the hot water can body. When a water supply valve is installed in the hot water filling circuit that connects the outlet of this mixing mechanism and the circulation pipe, a water supply valve is provided to join the water supply branch pipe and the hot water branch pipe branched from each. The warm water obtained by mixing with the mixing mechanism when the water valve is opened is supplied to the bathtub through the circulation pipe, and the water valve is closed when the bathtub reaches the set water level.

After that, the circulation pump attached to the circulation pipe was activated, and the bath water was sent to the remedy heat exchanger and heated, and when the hot water in the bath boiled to the set hot water temperature, the circulation pump stopped and bathing became possible. This is indicated by a buzzer sound.

In such a water heater, if you forget to close the drain tap of the bathtub or how to close it incompletely, not only will the hot water be wasted in the automatic hot water operation, but you will have to restart the hot water supply again. There is a problem that it is not easy to use. As a countermeasure for this, the controller of the water heater has a preset amount of hot water that allows the water level in the bathtub to be circulated by the circulation pump, and once this amount of hot water has been reached, the water flow valve is closed once. When the bath water in the bathtub is not detected, the water valve is closed to indicate that the drain tap has been forgotten, and there are some that prevent wasteful disposal of hot water when the drain tap is forgotten (patent) Reference 1).
JP 2000-283557 A

However, in the above configuration, when the water level drops using the hot water in the bathtub in the middle of automatic hot water filling, the bath water may not be detected even if the hot water supply amount reaches a circulatable water level. However, it may be determined that the drain valve has been forgotten and may stop in the middle of the hot water filling, and the user may be misunderstood as a failure and complain, and there is still room for improvement in terms of usability. .

In addition, if the water level sensor or water flow sensor malfunctions due to a failure or clogging of dust, the bath water cannot be detected even if the bathtub has reached the circulatorable water level. It is determined that the stopper has been forgotten, and the automatic hot water filling stops before reaching the set water level.

In addition, when automatic hot water filling stops in the middle, it will always be displayed as forgetting the drain plug of the bathtub. It was difficult to identify the defective part.

This invention which solves the said subject installs the hot-water supply can body 2 and the bath memory heat exchanger 3 which are heated by the burner 1, and connects two this bath memory heat exchanger 3 and the bathtub 4 A circulation pump 6 is attached to the circulation pipes 5a and 5b to form a circulation circuit A for the bath. In the circulation circuit A, a water level sensor 7 for detecting the water level of the bathtub 4 and a water flow for detecting the water flow of the circulation circuit A A sensor 8 is provided, and a water supply branch pipe 9 a and a hot water branch pipe 10 a that are branched from a water supply pipe 9 and a hot water supply pipe 10 connected to the hot water supply can body 2 are joined by a mixing mechanism 11, and an outlet of the mixing mechanism 11 The hot water filled circuit B connecting the circulation pipes 5a and 5b is provided with a water flow valve 12 and a water amount sensor 13, and the water flow valve 12 is opened so that a predetermined amount of water that can be circulated in the circulation circuit A is supplied to the bathtub 4. After the supply, the water level sensor 7 Automatic hot water filling that detects the position and calculates the amount of hot water supply up to the set water level, and maintains the open of the water valve 12 until the bathtub 4 reaches the set water level based on the calculated hot water supply amount and the detection data of the water amount sensor 13 In the water heater with function, when the water level sensor 7 or the water sensor 8 does not detect bath water after supplying the predetermined amount of water to the bathtub 4 by the water valve 12, the water valve 12 is opened and the predetermined amount of water is further added to the bathtub. 4, the bath water is detected again, and when the water level sensor 7 or the water flow sensor 8 does not detect the bath water, a control device for stopping automatic hot water filling is provided.

Further, a hot water supply can 2 heated by the burner 1 and a bath recuperation heat exchanger 3 are installed and circulated through two circulation pipes 5a and 5b that connect the bath recuperation heat exchanger 3 and the bathtub 4. A pump 6 is attached to form a circulation circuit A for the bath, and the circulation circuit A is provided with a water level sensor 7 for detecting the water level of the bathtub 4 and a water flow sensor 8 for detecting the water flow of the circulation circuit A. A water supply branch pipe 9a and a hot water branch pipe 10a branched from a water supply pipe 9 and a hot water supply pipe 10 connected to the hot water supply can body 2 are joined by a mixing mechanism 11, and an outlet of the mixing mechanism 11 and the circulation pipes 5a and 5b are combined. Is connected to the hot water-carrying circuit B, and includes a water flow valve 12 and a water amount sensor 13. After the water flow valve 12 is opened and a predetermined amount of water that can be circulated in the circulation circuit A is supplied to the bathtub 4, the water level sensor 7 To detect the water level in the bathtub 4 and In the water heater with an automatic hot water filling function, the hot water supply valve 12 is maintained open until the bathtub 4 reaches a set water level based on the calculated hot water supply amount and the detection data of the water amount sensor 13. After a predetermined amount of water is supplied to the bathtub 4 by the water valve 12, the storage means 14 that operates when the water flow sensor 8 detects no water flow and stores the water level data of the water level sensor 7, and the water flow after the predetermined water amount is supplied. Comparing means 15 that operates when the sensor 8 does not detect water flow is provided. The comparing means 15 detects water level difference data from the water level data detected by the water level sensor 7 and the water level data stored in the storage means 14. The controller may be configured to stop automatic hot water filling when the water level difference data is out of a predetermined range.

When the water flow sensor 8 does not detect water flow and the water level difference data of the comparison means 15 is within a predetermined range, the amount of hot water supplied from the water level data detected by the water level sensor 7 to the set water level is calculated. Even when the water flow sensor 8 cannot detect water flow by opening the water flow valve 12 and maintaining the open circuit of the water flow valve 12 until the set water level is reached based on the calculated hot water supply amount and the detection data of the water amount sensor 13. When a change in the water level of the bathtub 4 can be detected, hot water supply up to the set water level is possible.

Furthermore, alarm means 16 is provided that operates when an abnormality occurs during automatic filling operation, and the warning means 16 outputs a different signal depending on the detection data of the water level sensor 7 and the water flow sensor 8, so that when automatic filling is stopped. The cause of this can be easily identified.

When the automatic water filling operation is selected, the water heater of the present invention opens the water flow valve 12 and starts filling the bathtub 4, and once the water amount sensor 13 detects a predetermined amount of water that can be circulated in the circulation circuit A, The water valve 12 is closed, the bath water is detected by the water level sensor 7 or the water sensor 8, and when the bath water is not detected, a predetermined amount of hot water is supplied, and then the water level sensor 7 or the water sensor 8 is again used. Detects bath water and stops automatic filling when bath water is not detected. If you forget the drain plug, it will not fill up to the set water level. The amount of hot water that is thrown away can be reduced.

Even if the drain plug is securely closed, if the water level drops using the hot water in bathtub 4 during automatic hot water filling, bath water will not be detected when the first predetermined amount of hot water is supplied. However, even if the bath water is not detected when the first predetermined amount of hot water is supplied, the bath water is detected again after supplying the predetermined amount of hot water. Operation was prevented and usability was improved.

Further, after the water supply valve 12 is opened and a predetermined amount of water is supplied, the water flow of the circulation circuit A is detected by the water flow sensor 8, and when the water flow sensor 8 does not detect water flow, the water level sensor 7 detects it. The water level is stored in the storage means 14, and after a predetermined amount of hot water is supplied, the water flow sensor 8 detects the water flow again. When the water flow sensor 8 does not detect water flow, the comparison means 15 detects the water level. Even if the water level difference data is calculated from the water level data detected in step 7 and the water level data stored in the storage means 14 and the automatic hot water filling is stopped when the water level difference data falls outside the predetermined range, In addition, the amount of hot water that was thrown away unnecessarily can be reduced, and malfunctions can be prevented when the water level drops using bath water during automatic hot water filling, improving usability.

In this configuration, if the water level difference data detected by the comparison means 15 is within the predetermined range even though the water flow sensor 8 does not detect water flow, the water filling of the bathtub 4 is normally performed, and therefore the water flow sensor 8. It is possible to determine that the water flow sensor 8 is defective. At this time, since the amount of hot water supplied from the water level data detected by the water level sensor 7 to the set water level can be calculated, it is possible to fill the hot water up to the set water level. Even if a defect occurs, automatic hot water filling becomes possible, and the inconvenience until repair can be eliminated.

Also, with this configuration, when the water flow sensor 8 detects water flow after supplying a predetermined amount of hot water, the water level is detected by the water level sensor 7, but at this time the water level is not detected by the water level sensor 7. It can be determined that the sensor 7 is defective, and the cause when the automatic hot water filling stops can be identified.

Furthermore, alarm means 16 is provided which is activated when the automatic hot water filling stops in the middle, and this alarm means 16 outputs different signals depending on whether the drain plug is forgotten, the water level sensor 7 is defective, or the water flow sensor 8 is defective. The cause of the stoppage of automatic hot water filling can be easily determined, making it easier to handle repairs.

Even if the water pressure on the water supply side decreases due to water breakage or the like, the bath water does not flow backward from the hot water filling circuit B to the water supply side.

A water flow valve 12 is provided in the hot water filling circuit B to open and close the flow path of the hot water, and 13 is a water amount sensor constituted by a water amount counter connected in series with the water flow valve 12 to the hot water filling circuit B. When it is opened, the hot water mixed in the mixing mechanism 11 flows from the hot water filling circuit B to the circulation pipes 5a and 5b, hot water is supplied from the circulation pipes 5a and 5b to the bathtub 4, and the amount of water passing through the hot water filling circuit B is detected by the water amount sensor 13. The

22 is an automatic hot water filling switch provided in a remote controller for operating the water heater, 23 is a water level setting means for setting the water level of the bathtub 4, and 24 is a set water level by inputting signals from the water level sensor 7 and the water level setting means 22 Water amount calculating means for calculating the amount of hot water supplied until, 12a is a water flow valve control means for controlling the water flow valve 12, 25 is a hot water temperature setting means for setting the hot water filling temperature of the bathtub 4, and 26 is a hot water temperature setting means. 25 is a temperature calculation means for controlling the mixing mechanism 11 for mixing cold water and hot water in order to obtain hot water set in 25.

When the automatic hot water filling switch 22 is operated, the temperature calculation means 26 operates the mixing mechanism 11 to change the mixing ratio of cold water and hot water to set the bath water temperature, and the water flow valve control means 12a opens the water flow valve 12. Then, hot water supply to the bathtub 4 is started, and the water flow valve 12 is temporarily closed when the water amount sensor 13 detects passage of a predetermined water amount set in advance. The water level of the bathtub 4 at this time is located above the connection port of the circulation pipe 5b connected to the bathtub 4 so that the bath water in the bathtub 4 can be circulated in the circulation circuit A. The amount of hot water supply from the start of hot water filling until this water level is reached is set.

Reference numeral 6a denotes a circulation pump control means for controlling the circulation pump 6. Upon receiving a signal from the water flow valve control means 12a which closes the water flow valve 12, the circulation pump control means 6a operates the circulation pump 6 and a hot water temperature sensor 18 is operated. The start signal is sent to the temperature calculation means 26 that receives the input, and the start signal is sent to the water amount calculation means 24 that receives the water level sensor 7.

The temperature calculation means 26 performs a new calculation based on the hot water temperature detected by the hot water temperature sensor 18 and the temperature set by the hot water temperature setting means 25, and instructs the mixing mechanism 11 to set the bath water to the set temperature. At the same time, the water amount calculation means 24 calculates based on the water level detected by the water level sensor 7 and the water level set by the water level setting means 23, calculates the remaining hot water supply amount required up to the set water level, and controls the water flow valve. The means 12a opens the water flow valve 12 and resumes filling, and when the water amount sensor 13 detects the calculated predetermined water amount, it determines that the set water level has been reached and closes the water flow valve 12.

Then, when the automatic hot water filling is completed, the heat insulation operation is automatically started, and the circulation pump control means 6 a operates the circulation pump 6 to measure the hot water temperature of the bathtub 4 by the hot water temperature sensor 18 and sets it by the hot water temperature setting means 25. When the temperature is lower than the set temperature, the operation of the circulation pump 6 is continued and the burner 1 is started to start the memorial. If the hot water temperature sensor 18 detects the hot water temperature set by the hot water temperature setting means 25. Then, the circulation pump 6 is stopped to notify the boiling of the bath.

By the way, when automatic hot water filling is performed in a state in which the drain tap 4a of the bathtub 4 is forgotten to be closed or incompletely closed, the hot water sent to the bathtub 4 is wasted, but from the start of automatic hot water filling. Since the water flow valve 12 is temporarily closed after the predetermined amount of water is supplied, if the water level sensor 7 cannot detect the water level of the bathtub 4 at this time, it can be determined that the drain plug has been forgotten and the automatic filling can be stopped. It is possible to reduce the amount of hot water that is wasted.

However, even if the drain plug 4a is securely closed, if the hot water of the bathtub 4 is used during the automatic hot water filling, the water valve 12 is closed and the detection of the forgotten drain plug is detected. The water level may be located below the connection port of the circulation pipe 5b. In this case, since bath water cannot be detected, there is a drawback that it is determined that the drain tap has been forgotten and automatic hot water filling is stopped.

The present invention solves the above-described problem. The water level sensor 13 detects that a predetermined amount of water has passed since the start of filling, the water flow valve 12 is temporarily closed, and the water level sensor 7 after the circulation pump 6 is activated When the water level is not detected, the water level is detected again by the water level sensor 7 after the water supply valve 12 is opened and hot water is supplied by a predetermined amount of water. At this time, if the water level is not detected by the water level sensor 7, it is determined that the drain valve has been forgotten, and the automatic water filling operation is stopped with the water flow valve 12 closed.

On the other hand, if the water level is detected at this time, a start signal is output to the water amount calculating means 24 and the temperature calculating means 26, the hot water temperature correction and the remaining hot water supply amount are calculated, the water flow valve 12 is opened, and the remaining water amount is detected. The hot water filling is performed, and when bath water is used in the middle of automatic hot water filling and the water level of the bathtub 4 is temporarily lowered, malfunction does not occur and usability can be improved.

Reference numeral 8 denotes a water flow sensor that is attached to an appropriate place of the circulation pipes 5 a and 5 b to detect the flow of water. The water flow sensor 8 may detect bath water instead of the water level sensor 7. In another embodiment of the present invention, if the water flow sensor 12 is activated once the water flow valve 12 is closed and the circulation pump 6 is activated after the hot water supply is started after the start of hot water filling, there is bath water. Judge the remaining hot water filling. On the other hand, when the water flow sensor 8 does not operate, the water supply valve 12 is opened again and a predetermined amount of hot water is supplied, and then the circulation pump 6 is operated. When the water flow sensor 8 does not operate, it is determined that the drain plug has been forgotten. Thus, the automatic hot water filling is stopped, and the bath water can be detected without malfunction similarly to the water level sensor 7.

Although it is possible to prevent malfunction when bath water is used in the middle of automatic hot water filling with the above configuration, the drain plug 4a is securely closed when the water level sensor 7 or the water flow sensor 8 is defective. Even if the water level of the bathtub 4 is normal, bath water cannot be detected, and automatic hot water filling stops. In addition, even when a failure occurs in the water level sensor 7 or the water flow sensor 8, it always stops with an error of forgetting the drain plug, making it difficult to identify the defective portion.

In the embodiment of the present invention, 14 is a storage means for storing the water level data detected by the water level sensor 7, 15 is a comparison means for detecting the water level difference data from the water level data of the water level sensor 7 and the storage data of the storage means 14, A predetermined amount of water is supplied to the bathtub 4 and the water flow valve 12 is temporarily closed. When the circulation pump 6 is operated, the operation of the water flow sensor 8 is detected. When the water flow sensor 8 does not detect water flow, the water level sensor is detected. 7 is stored in the storage means 14, the water valve 12 is opened, and a predetermined amount of hot water is supplied.

When the water flow sensor 13 detects the passage of the predetermined water flow and the water flow valve 12 is closed, the circulation pump 6 is actuated again. When the water flow sensor 8 detects water flow, the water flow valve 12 is opened and the remaining hot water is opened. Do the tension. On the other hand, when the water flow sensor 8 does not detect water flow, it outputs an activation signal to the comparison means 15, and the comparison means 15 calculates the water level from the water level data of the water level sensor 7 and the water level data stored in the storage means 14 at this time. Detect difference data. When the water level difference data is out of the predetermined range, it means that the water level of the bathtub 4 has not risen, and it is determined that the drain tap has been forgotten and automatic hot water filling is stopped. Reference numeral 16 denotes alarm means that operates when an abnormality occurs during the automatic hot water filling operation, and the alarm means 16 outputs an alarm that the drain valve is forgotten.

On the other hand, when the water level difference data is within the predetermined range, the water level of the bathtub 4 is rising. At this time, the water level sensor 8 is rising but the water flow sensor 8 is not activated. Since it can be judged, the defect of the water flow sensor 8 can be detected. Even if a failure occurs in the water flow sensor 8, automatic water filling is possible if the water level sensor 7 can detect the water level of the bathtub 4. The start signal is output to the calculation means 24 and the temperature calculation means 26, and after the hot water is supplied up to the set water level, the alarm means 16 is activated to output a warning of a water passage sensor failure. By adopting such a configuration, even if the water flow sensor 8 is defective or clogged with dust, automatic hot water filling is possible. I was able to eliminate the inconvenience of disappearing.

Also, with this configuration, when the water flow sensor 8 detects water flow, the water level sensor 7 detects the water level, calculates the remaining hot water supply amount up to the set water level, and performs the hot water filling operation. When the water level sensor 7 cannot detect the water level, it can be determined that the water level sensor 7 is defective. Therefore, the automatic filling is stopped with the water flow valve 12 closed, and the alarm means 16 is activated to activate the water level sensor. This outputs a failure alarm.

As described above, when automatic hot water filling stops, there are a plurality of factors. However, when the automatic hot water filling stops, it is possible to determine whether the drain plug is forgotten or various sensors are defective. The alarm means 16 includes a plurality of error signals, and the error signal is selected and output according to the state when the automatic filling is stopped. Therefore, the cause can be easily determined based on the error signal output by the alarm means 16. When the water level sensor 7 or the water flow sensor 8 is defective, it is possible to identify the defective portion, so that it is easy to perform repair or the like.

In addition, about the hot water filling operation | movement of the predetermined water amount after that the water flow of the water flow sensor 8 is not detected, hot water supply of the predetermined water amount may be performed by one hot water filling operation. Since the amount of hot water supply decreases, the hot water after correction mixed by the mixing mechanism 11 becomes a high temperature, and hot hot water is supplied to the bathtub 4, which is dangerous. Further, if the temperature of the hot water is kept low, the time for boiling after hot water filling up to the set water level becomes longer and the time until hot water filling is completed becomes longer, so the drain plug 4a is closed. In some cases, we want to be able to detect water flow at the lowest possible water level.

As a countermeasure for this, the water flow sensor 8 is set so that the hot water filling operation with a predetermined amount of water when the water flow is not detected is performed in small portions, and the number of the hot water filling operations is counted. For example, the storage means 14 operates to store the data of the water level sensor 7 during the second water flow detection operation, and the comparison means 15 operates to operate the water level sensor during the fifth water flow detection operation. The water level difference data between the water level data 7 and the water level data stored in the storage means 14 may be detected.

In this way, if the hot water filling operation is divided into a plurality of times and hot water is supplied little by little, when hot water filling is performed normally, the bath water is detected when the water level of the bathtub 4 is low with a small amount of hot water supply. Therefore, the hot water temperature can be easily corrected with the remaining hot water up to the set water level, and the automatic hot water filling can be completed in a short time without the hot water temperature becoming too high.
