Claims (30)
- ネック付与した材料を形成する方法であって、
第一表面速度を持つ逆回転する第一の対のニップローラーに向かって、第一幅を持つネック付与可能な不織ウエブを移送し、
前記不織ウエブが第一の対のニップローラーに到達する前に、該不織ウエブに縦方向の切断をいれて複数の不織ストリップとし、
該不織ストリップを第一の対のニップローラーの間で縦方向に通し、
前記不織ウエブを縦方向距離だけ、前記第一表面速度より大きい第二表面速度で逆回転する第二の対のニップローラーまで移送し、
前記第二の対のニップローラーの間に前記不織ストリップを縦方向に通して、第一の対のニップローラーと第二の対のニップローラーとの間で前記不織ストリップにネック付与する、

- 前記第二表面速度は、前記第一表面速度の約1.05倍から約1.7倍であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第二表面速度は、前記第一表面速度の約1.1倍から約1.5倍であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第二表面速度は、前記第一表面速度の約1.2倍から約1.2倍であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ネック付与可能な不織ウエブは、スパンボンドウエブを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- フィルムが、前記スパンボンドウエブに積層されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。
- 複数のネック付与した材料ストリップを準備する方法であって、
ネック付与可能な材料に縦方向に切断して、各々が予ネック付与幅を持つ、複数のネック付与可能な材料ストリップとし、
第一表面速度を持つ1対のニップローラーの間を、複数のネック付与可能な材料ストリップを縦方向に通し、
前記不織ウエブを、前記第一表面速度より大きい第二表面速度で逆回転する第二の対の逆回転ニップローラーまで、前記第二表面速度に対する比が一定に維持された縦方向距離だけ移送し、
更に、
第二の対のニップローラーの間に複数のネック付与可能な材料ストリップを縦方向に通し、各々のネック付与可能な材料ストリップが、予ネック付与幅の約70%より小さいネック付与した幅になるようにネック付与する、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 各々のネック付与可能な材料ストリップは、予ネック付与幅の約60%より小さいネック付与した幅を持つことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 各々のネック付与可能な材料ストリップは、予ネック付与幅の約28%から約50%のネック付与した幅を持つことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 第一の対のニップローラーから第二の対のニップローラーまでの縦方向距離は、個々のネック付与可能な材料ストリップにおける、予ネック付与幅の約10倍より大きくないことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記ネック付与可能な材料は、形成されたばかりの不織材料からなることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記ネック付与可能な材料は、切断され、各々のネック付与可能な材料ストリップは、不織材料を形成してから約1分以内にネック付与されることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記ネック付与可能な材料は、切断され、各々のネック付与可能な材料ストリップは、不織材料を形成してから約0.5分以内にネック付与されることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記ネック付与可能な材料は、切断され、各々のネック付与可能な材料ストリップは、不織材料を形成してから約0.25分以内にネック付与されることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- ネック付与したSMS積層体を形成する方法であって、
第一表面速度で逆回転する第一の対のニップローラーに向かって、第一幅を持つ、ネック付与可能なSMS積層体を移送し、
前記SMS積層体が第一の対のニップローラーに到着する前に、SMS積層体に縦方向に切断して複数の積層体ストリップとし、
前記第一の対のニップローラーの間に縦方向に前記積層体ストリップを通し、
前記第一表面速度より大きい第二表面速度で逆回転する第二の対のニップローラーまで、前記SMS積層体を縦方向距離だけ移送し、
前記第二の対のニップローラーの間に積層体ストリップを縦方向に通して、前記第一の対のニップローラーと前記第二の対のニップローラーの間で前記積層体ストリップにネック付与する、
段階を含み、
前記縦方向距離は、前記第一幅の約25%より大きくない、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ネック付与したSMS積層体は、フィルムを含むことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の方法。
- 複数の同一のネック付与した材料ストリップを含み、各々のネック付与した材料ストリップは、実質的に同様な横方向形状を持ち、その両側縁領域は、各々のストリップの中央領域の基本重量より大きい基本重量を持つことを特徴とするネック付与した切り込み材料。
- 前記両側縁領域は、前記中央領域の伸長性よりも大きい伸長性を持つことを特徴とする請求項26に記載のネック付与した切り込み材料。
- 約12インチより大きくない幅を持ち、両側縁領域は、ネック付与した切り込み材料の中央領域の伸長性より大きい伸長性を持つことを特徴とするネック付与した切り込み材料。
- 前記両側縁領域は、前記中央領域の基本重量より大きい基本重量を持つことを特徴とする請求項28に記載のネック付与した切り込み材料。
- ネック付与した材料を形成する方法であって、
第一幅を持つネック付与可能な不織ウエブを、第一表面速度を持つ第一移送手段に向かって移送し、
前記不織ウエブが前記第一移送手段に到達する前に、不織ウエブに縦方向に切断して複数の不織ストリップとし、
前記不織ストリップを前記第一移送手段に縦方向に通し、
前記第一表面速度より大きい第二表面速度を持つ第二移送手段まで、前記不織ウエブを縦方向距離だけ移送し、
前記第二移送手段に前記不織ストリップを縦方向に通して、前記第一移送手段と前記第二移送手段の間で前記不織ストリップにネック付与する、
段階を含み、
前記縦方向距離は、個々の不織ストリップの予ネック付与幅の約40倍より大きくない、
ことを特徴とする方法。
