Abstract

Claims (5)
- 大深度地下に処分されたときの放射性核種の浸出を抑制するように固化された廃棄物固化体であって、前記放射性核種を含む多孔性および非晶質の無機化合物を主成分とする放射性廃棄物からなり、少なくとも表面全体が高温等方圧処理により不透水性の稠密構造にされていることを特徴とする廃棄物固化体。
- 大深度地下に処分されたときの放射性核種の浸出を抑制するように固化された廃棄物固化体であって、前記放射性核種として放射性ヨウ素を含む多孔性および非晶質の珪素化合物を有する放射性廃棄物からなり、少なくとも表面全体が高温等方圧処理により不透水性の稠密構造にされていることを特徴とする廃棄物固化体。
- さらに、少なくとも表面全体が高温等方圧処理により結晶質構造にされていることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の廃棄物固化体。
- 大深度地下に処分されたときの放射性核種の浸出を抑制するように固化された廃棄物固化体の製造方法であって、前記廃棄物固化体が、前記放射性核種を含む多孔性および非晶質の無機化合物を主成分とする放射性廃棄物からなり、前記放射性核種を含む放射性廃棄物の少なくとも表面全体が不透水性の稠密構造となるように該放射性廃棄物を高温等方圧処理する固化処理工程を有することを特徴とする廃棄物固化体の製造方法。
- 前記無機化合物は、前記放射性核種として放射性ヨウ素を含む多孔性および非晶質の珪素化合物であることを特徴とする請求項4載の廃棄物固化体の製造方法。
