Abstract
Description
また、前記活物質が、正極活物質であることが好ましい。このとき、負極活物質が、グラファイト、非晶質カーボン、リチウム金属、リチウム合金、リチウムイオン吸蔵炭素及び導電性高分子のいずれかであることがこのましい。
本発明においては、前記活物質が正極活物質であり、かつ前記電極反応が正極における電極反応であることが好ましい。
(i)少なくとも正極、負極、電解質を構成要素とする二次電池において、正極および負極の少なくとも一方の活物質が、式(1)で表されるユニットを有するニトロキシルラジカル化合物を含む二次電池。
(ii)活物質の電極反応を利用する二次電池において、正極および負極の少なくとも一方の電極反応が、式(1)で表されるユニットを有するニトロキシルラジカル化合物を反応物もしくは生成物とする電極反応である二次電池。
式(2)で表されるユニットからなるニトロキシルラジカル化合物(数平均分子量8300)50mg、グラファイト粉末200mg、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン樹脂バインダ25mgを測り採り、メノウ乳鉢を用い混練した。10分ほど乾式混合して得られた混合体を、圧力を掛けてローラー延伸により、厚さ約200μmの薄膜とした。これを、真空中80℃で一晩乾燥した後、直径12mmの円形に打ち抜き、コイン電池用電極として成型した。
電解液としては、1mol/lのLiPF6電解質塩を含むエチレンカーボネート/ジエチルカーボネート混合溶液(混合比3:7(体積比))を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして密閉型のコイン型電池を組みたてた。
実施例1と同様にして、ただし負極活物質としてグラファイトを用いて密閉型のコイン型電池を組みたてた。
グラファイト粉末225mg、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン樹脂バインダ25mgを測り採り、メノウ乳鉢を用い混練した。10分ほど乾式混合して得られた混合体を、圧力を掛けてローラー延伸して、厚さ215μmの薄型電極板を得た。薄型電極板は、真空中80℃で一晩乾燥した後、直径12mmの円形に打ち抜き、ニトロキシルラジカル化合物を含まないコイン電池用電極を作製した。

Claims (8)
- 前記活物質が、正極活物質である請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記活物質が正極活物質であり、かつ前記電極反応が正極における電極反応である請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記正極における電極反応が、前記ニトロキシルラジカル化合物と電解質カチオンとの結合を生成する放電反応と、該放電反応の逆反応による充電反応である請求項4に記載の二次電池。
- 前記正極における電極反応が、前記ニトロキシルラジカル化合物と電解質アニオンとの結合を開裂する放電反応と、該放電反応の逆反応による充電反応である請求項4に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解質カチオンが、リチウムイオンである請求項5に記載の二次電池。
- 負極活物質が、グラファイト、非晶質カーボン、リチウム金属、リチウム合金、リチウムイオン吸蔵炭素及び導電性高分子のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。
