Abstract
【解決手段】 パーフロロスルホン酸膜自体を金属セパレーターに直接、接触させた試験体を作製し、かかる試験体を試験温度60℃以上、試験相対湿度70%以上の条件に保持し、試験後、パーフロロスルホン酸膜に取り込まれた金属元素の濃度を分析することによって金属セパレーターの耐食性を迅速、かつ簡便に評価する方法。

Claims (6)
- 評価対象の金属材料間に、または評価対象の金属材料と化学的に安定な物質との間に、固体高分子膜を挟み込んだものを試験体とし、該試験体を構成する前記金属材料から金属イオンが溶出する腐食条件に、該試験体を一定期間曝しながら、かつ溶出した金属イオンを前記固体高分子膜で捕捉する腐食環境において、前記金属材料の腐食試験を行い、腐食試験後の前記固体高分子膜中の金属イオン濃度を分析することを特徴とする燃料電池セパレーター用金属材料の耐食性評価方法。
- 前記試験体が、評価対象の金属材料と固体高分子膜を直接接触させ、該固体高分子膜のもう一方の表面に電極材料、または触媒を担持した電極材料を配置したものを、評価対象の金属材料と同一の金属、または評価対象の金属材料と化学的に安定な物質で挟み込んだものであって、さらに前記評価対象の金属材料と前記電極材料が電気的に導通しているものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池セパレーター用金属材料の耐食性評価方法。
- 前記腐食環境が、相対湿度70%以上、温度60℃以上の水蒸気中であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の燃料電池セパレーター用金属材料の耐食性評価方法。
- 前記腐食環境が、水素雰囲気、または、空気もしくは酸素雰囲気であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の燃料電池セパレーター用金属材料の耐食性評価方法。
- 前記固体高分子膜が、パーフロロスルホン酸膜であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の燃料電池セパレーター用金属材料の耐食性評価方法。
- 腐食試験後の前記固体高分子膜中の金属イオン濃度の分析方法が、蛍光X線測定であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の燃料電池セパレーター用金属材料の耐食性評価方法。
