正面開口部を有する冷蔵庫本体と、同冷蔵庫本体の左右の各側縁部に他端部を前後方向へ回動自在に組みつけられて、同冷蔵庫本体の正面開口部を開閉自在に閉止する観音開き式の第一扉と第二扉とを設け、前記第一扉を開状態から閉止動作時に閉止状態の第二扉へ向かう方向に回転して前記第一扉と前記第二扉との隙間を塞ぐとともに、前記第一扉を閉状態から開動作時には、開動作に伴なって閉状態の前記第二扉から離間する方向に回転する回転遮閉体を、前記第一扉の内面に回動自在に設けてなる観音開き式冷蔵庫において、第一扉または第二扉の開閉力を、扉体に設けられた内歯車、内歯車に従動する歯車、中間歯車により、他方の扉に伝達し、一方の扉を開閉動作した時に、他方の扉も追従し開閉動作することを特徴とする、冷蔵庫の観音開き扉。
