Abstract
【解決手段】乳酸系ポリマー組成物からなる梱包用バンドと自動梱包機の摩擦を低減する為に、乳酸系ポリマーに無機充填剤及び潤滑油を添加する。これによって、これまで乳酸系ポリマー組成物からなる梱包用バンドを使用する際に問題となった、自動梱包機での粉や剥離物の発生が抑制される。

Description
現在用いられているポリプロピレン製梱包用バンドは、例えば特開平3−658号公報、特公平4−76769号公報、特公平5−34229号公報などに開示されている公知技術により得ることができる。すなわち、熱可塑性樹脂であるポリプロピレンを溶融押出して帯状の成形物とし、これを長手方向に延伸した後、エンボス加工によって、表裏両面に多数の凹凸をつくることによって得られる。これら一連の加工操作により、引張強度の向上、縦割れの防止、表面の摩擦抵抗の増大、見かけ厚み増加による剛性の向上などにより、梱包用バントとしての使用過程における必要な性能に加えて、自動梱包機で使用する場合に必要な性能を維持しつつ、当該バンドの軽量化を実現している。
脂肪族ジカルボン酸としては、炭素数2〜30の脂肪族ジカルボン酸が好ましく、具体的には、シュウ酸、コハク酸、グルタル酸、アジピン酸、ピメリン酸、スベリン酸、アゼライン酸、セバシン酸、ウンデカン二酸、ドデカン二酸、フェニルコハク酸、1,4-フェニレンジ酢酸等が挙げられる。これらは、単独で又は二種以上の組合せて使用することができる。
原料としての乳酸以外のヒドロキシカルボン酸、脂肪族ジカルボン酸、脂肪族ジオールは、得られるコポリマーならびに混合物中の乳酸含有率が50%以上になるように、種々の組み合わせで使用することができる。
10重量部を越えると、梱包用バンド成形時に可塑剤がブリードし、成形トラブル等の問題を起こす場合がある。
梱包用バンドの評価条件は以下の通りである。
(1)結束テスト
高速仕様の自動梱包機(50結束/分、ナイガイ(株)製)を用い、200×200×200mmの箱にバンド掛けを500回連続で行った。この間の走行性、粉・剥離の有無、縦割れの有無を確認し、これら全てが良好な場合、総合評価を○とし、これらの内一つでも不良が認められた場合、総合評価を×とした。
(2)引張強度
JIS Z1527に準じ、引張強度を測定した。
(3)シール強度
上記(1)と同じ条件で結束テストを行い、ヒートシール部分を中心にして長さ200mmのサンプルとし、JIS Z1527に準じて、ヒートシール部分に剪断応力が働くように、バンド長手方向の引張強度を測定してシール強度とした。
ポリ乳酸(LACEA H−400、三井化学(株)販売)に、無機充填剤及び有機潤滑油を添加せずに、実施例1と同様にして、幅15mm、見かけ厚み0.55mmの梱包用バンドを得た。このバンドで結束テストを実施したところ、梱包機フィードロール付近で粉や剥離が発生し、安定して梱包を行うことが困難であった。
ポリ乳酸(LACEA H−400、三井化学(株)販売)、シリカ(サイリシア530、富士シリシア化学(株)製)を100:3の重量比でブレンドした他は実施例1と同様にして、幅15mm、見かけ厚み0.55mmの梱包用バンドを得た。このバンドで結束テストを実施したところ、梱包機フィードロール付近で粉や剥離が発生し、安定して梱包を行うことが困難であった。
Claims (5)
- 乳酸系ポリマー100重量部に対し、無機充填剤0.1〜10重量部及び潤滑油0.1〜10重量部を含んでなる乳酸系ポリマー組成物からなる梱包用バンド。
- 無機充填剤が、乳酸系ポリマーに対して結晶化促進作用を有する無機充填剤であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の梱包用バンド。
- 無機充填剤が、ケイ酸(SiO2)成分を30%以上含む結晶性の無機充填剤であることを特徴とする請求項1〜2記載の梱包用バンド。
- 無機充填剤が、タルク、カオリン、クレー、シリカであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3記載の梱包用バンド。
- 潤滑油が、エステル油、動植物油であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4記載の梱包用バンド。
