Abstract

手作業で、サルカンを所定の距離間隔(幹巾)で取り付けるには多大な労力を要するとともに、長時間の手作業により、かしめ力にバラツキが発生する等の不具合が発生することもあり、延縄の仕掛けの自動化を困難にするものであった。
【解決手段】幹糸となるテグスを固定するための金属片に代えて、溶融したホットメルト材のような熱可塑性樹脂あるいは適切な熱硬化性樹脂をテグス上に融着あるいは硬化させて、固化させることによりサルカンを簡単に所定の幹巾に固定することで、課題を解決できることを見出した。

以下、本発明の実施例を図面により詳述する。
図1は、モノフィラメント状のテグスからなる長尺の幹糸2.にサルカン3.を通し、任意の幹巾を保ってその両脇に、幹糸を融解しない温度で予め溶融させたホットメルト材のような熱可塑性樹脂1.をサルカンの取り付け穴より大きめに付着させて、熱可塑性樹脂の固化温度以下ですばやく固化させる。場合によっては強制冷却してもよい。このとき、使用する樹脂は幹糸への固着強度が十分発現するように幹糸の材質に近い樹脂がよい。材質が付着させて固化した樹脂の形状は問わない。
幹糸がナイロンテグスであると付着させる樹脂もナイロン材を主成分として、ナイロンテグスを溶かさない融解温度で付着させる。こうすると、幹糸のナイロンテグスの引張り強度より強い付着力を発現させることが可能となる。
