Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improvement in a centrifugal fan, in particular a centrifugal fan casing intended to be quiet.
[0002]
[Prior art]
(Patent Document 1) (Title of Invention: Centrifugal Fan Casing, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-228997)
[0003]
For the centrifugal fan casing structure, the upstream side of the ventilation path where the air flows in and the downstream side of the ventilation path where the air flows are in communication, resulting in turbulence in the flow of the discharge air. Therefore, various improvements have been made.
[0004]
Patent document 1 is also an example, and as seen in the publication, FIG. 5 and FIG. 4 are longitudinal sectional views of an example of a centrifugal fan casing 1 conventionally used. A taper surface 2-21 that expands to the edge of the discharge port 2-4 is formed in the nose 2-2 in the vicinity of 4. The reason why the tapered surface 2-21 is formed on the nose 2-2 side of the discharge port is that air having high pressure to be discharged from the discharge port 2-4 to the outside generally communicates with the discharge port 2-4. This is because it is possible to obtain an effect of preventing the small gap portion 2-11 in the uppermost stream of the ventilation path.
[0005]
Then, a taper surface extending toward the nose side is formed inside the discharge port 2-4 positioned downstream of the ventilation, or a taper surface that is connected to and expands toward the discharge port edge is formed. It is well known that it is also effective to provide a current plate so as to face the tapered surface.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional configuration as described above achieves improvements in terms of an increase in wind speed and air volume by suppressing the pressure loss of the discharge air at the discharge port, but the upstream side of the ventilation path into which the air flows and the discharge Therefore, further improvements have been desired in terms of derivation of noise due to turbulence of the discharge air flow and loss of discharge pressure.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The casing of the centrifugal fan according to the present invention has a ventilation path reduction part in which the uppermost downstream small gap part gradually approaches the outer peripheral edge of the impeller, and the enlargement part is sequentially formed in communication with the end of the ventilation path reduction part. ,
[0008]
The smallest gap in which the connection portion between the nose tip arc and the ventilation path reduction portion communicating with the nose tip arc is the uppermost flow small gap portion, and the gap at the uppermost flow small gap portion is the gap at the end portion of the ventilation passage reduction portion. Is preferably 3 times or less,
[0009]
Further, the ventilation path reducing portion is formed to extend linearly or with a convex arc in the outer peripheral direction, and then communicate with the enlarged portion sequentially.
[0010]
【Example】
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
[0011]
FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of an example of a centrifugal fan according to the present invention as viewed from the suction port side. The ventilation path 2 formed by a gap between the outer peripheral edge of the impeller 5 rotatably supported and the inner peripheral surface of the casing 1 communicates with the arc surface of the nose 2-2 forming the most upstream end. A ventilation path reduction section 2-13 that extends linearly while gradually approaching the outer peripheral edge of the impeller 5 is provided from the uppermost flow path small gap section 2-11 of the section. The ventilation path contracting section 2-13 communicates with the well-known sequentially expanding ventilation path 2 at the terminal end minimum gap section 2-12.
[0012]
FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment in which the ventilation path contracting portion 2-13 of the first example is formed so as to extend linearly, whereas it extends in the shape of a convex arc in the outer peripheral direction. The ventilation path reduction part 2-14 formed in this is provided.
[0013]
As is well known, the airflow path most upstream small gap portion 2-11 on the suction side communicates with the most downstream portion 2-3 on the discharge side, so that the flow of the discharged air is likely to be disturbed. In order to suppress it, it is preferable that it is as small as possible.
[0014]
Therefore, regardless of whether the shape of the above-described ventilation path reducing portion is a straight line or a circular arc convex in the outer peripheral direction, the distance from the outer peripheral edge of the impeller 5 of the ventilation path uppermost stream small gap portion 2-11. However, as disclosed below, the gap in the uppermost stream small gap portion is experimentally set to a minimum gap of 3 which is a gap at the end portion of the ventilation path reduction portion. It has been confirmed that it is desirable to be less than double.
[0015]
In the prior art, since the casing inner peripheral surface is formed so as to sequentially expand from the ventilation path uppermost downstream small gap portion 2-11, the entrance of the uppermost downstream small gap portion 2-11 and the minimum clearance 2-12. In the minimum gap 2-12, it is known that the air discharged by the centrifugal force from the impeller 5 collides with the tip arc of the nose 2-2 to increase noise. Increasing the minimum gap 2-12 can reduce the air impinging on the tip of the nose and reduce noise, but tends to generate backflow air and lowers the static pressure. In order to solve these problems, in the present invention, the uppermost downstream small gap portion 2-11 is made larger near the entrance, and the smallest gap 2-12 is formed below it.
[0016]
As described above, the airflow path reducing portions 2-13 and 2-14 that gradually approach the outer peripheral edge of the impeller are provided in the uppermost stream small gap portion 2-11, and the airflow path reducing portions 2-13 and 2-14 are provided. By sequentially forming the enlarged portion in communication with the terminal end, it is possible to achieve low noise without reducing the static pressure.
[0017]
【The invention's effect】
The casing of the centrifugal fan according to the present invention can achieve quietness without impairing the fan performance.
