本発明は、一般家庭用や業務用として利用可能な洗面化粧台に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
最近の傾向として生活様式の多様化とともに洗面行為も人それぞれのやり方があるので、これらのやり方に対応できる洗面化粧台が求められる。また、洗面化粧台は、近年の傾向として豪華さが求められることも多くなり、これにともない大型化されるようになっている。洗面化粧台を構成するカウンターやミラーキャビネットの大型化は、これによる豪華さや空間的余裕を発生するが、一方では十分な設計上の配慮を行わないと、かえって使い勝手の悪いものになりかねない。

ところで、従来の洗面化粧台としては、たとえば特許文献１に開示されているように、カウンター１と、このカウンター１の下に設けられたキャビネット１３と、カウンター１とキャビネット１３の間の手前側を覆う幕板２とを備えたものが知られている。この場合、キャビネット１３の扉１４は、カウンター１の前端より奥側に位置している。また、別の洗面化粧台として、洗面ボールを有するカウンター（洗面台１０１）と、このカウンターの下に設けられたキャビネットとを備え、洗面ボールの前部がキャビネットの扉または引出しの前面から突出しているものが知られている（特許文献２）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記いずれの洗面化粧台においても、洗面ボールを有するカウンターと、このカウンターの下に設けられたキャビネットとを備えている。さらに、カウンターとキャビネットとの間において洗面ボールの片側または両側には空間が存在する。この空間は、いまだ利用されずにいる。

本発明は、洗面ボールの片側または両側の空間を有効利用でき、使い勝手が良いことを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため、本発明は、洗面ボールを有するカウンターと、このカウンターの下に設けられるキャビネットと、前記洗面ボールのボール前面に略沿って設けられる幕板とを備える。さらに、前記キャビネットの前面は前記カウンターの前端よりも奥側に位置し、前記幕板は前記カウンターの前端側と前記キャビネットの前面側との間を覆い、前記洗面ボールを正面から見て、この洗面ボールの片側または両側に引出しが設けられ、この引出しの前面は前記幕板の面に対して面一に形成されてなることを特徴とする。

このようにすることにより、洗面ボールの片側または両側において、幕板の後側に形成される空間を利用して引出しが設けられる。洗面ボールの片側または両側の空間を利用して引出しが設けられるので、空間の有効利用ができるとともに、カウンターは洗面ボールの片側または両側に洗面用具や化粧用品などを置くことができる広い平坦面が形成され、引出しの使用と相俟って使い勝手が良い。

さらに、幕板は洗面ボールのボール前面に略沿って設けられ、かつキャビネットの前面はカウンターの前端よりも奥側に位置する。こうすることにより、幕板は斜め奥側下方に形成され、カウンターの前端側とキャビネットの前面側との間を覆う。そして、洗面ボールの片側または両側に設けられる引出しの前面は幕板の面に対して面一に形成されるので、洗面化粧台は、すっきりした外観となり、意匠的にも優れたものとなる。

次に本発明を構成する各要件についてさらに詳しく説明する。本発明の洗面化粧台は、集合住宅や個別住宅の一般用あるいは事務所、理髪店、美容院などの業務用として利用可能である。カウンターは、上面に洗面ボールを有するとともに洗面をするための用具、消耗品などを置ける平坦面を有するものであるが、洗面ボールは一つまたは複数でも良い。また、洗面ボールはカウンター本体と一体的に形成されても良いし、別途形成した洗面ボールをカウンター本体に取り付けても良い。洗面ボールが複数の場合、引出しは各洗面ボールの片側または両側に設けられても良い。

幕板は、カウンターの前端近傍からキャビネットの前面近傍まで斜め奥側下方に形成される覆いである。幕板の面と引出しの前板の面とは面一とされる。この場合、幕板の面および引出しの前板の面は平面でも良いし、凸面または凹面でも良い。さらに、洗面ボールの片側または両側に設ける引出しの前板には取手を設けても良いが、この前板の下縁位置をキャビネットの面より手前側に位置させて、引出しの前板とキャビネットの面との間に隙間を形成し、引出しの前板の裏側に手を挿入できる空間を形成しても良い。

キャビネットは、カウンターを支持する支持体であるとともに、引出しまたは扉を設けて洗面用具その他の物品を収納できる収納庫でもある。キャビネットの前面はカウンターの前端よりも奥側に位置するが、その距離は足のつま先がカウンターの突出部分の下に位置することができるように設定すると良い。

また、カウンターの奥側（後側）で、シャワーヘッドや開閉栓などの水供給手段の後側に洗面用具、化粧用品などを載置する用品載置台を設けても良い。さらに、用品載置台の上にミラーキャビネットを設けても良い。この場合、鏡は、一つまたは二つ以上、たとえば用品載置台の奥側上方に一つまたは用品載置台の奥側上方および片側に合計二つあるいは奥側上方および両側に合計三つ設けても良い。三つの鏡を設ける場合は３面鏡として使用できる。また、この場合、中央の鏡の両側がミラー扉としても良い。ミラー扉の裏側には収納棚を設けると良いが、収納棚は鏡の裏面に設けても良い。

ミラーキャビネットには、一体的にまたは別体で照明装置を設け、洗面時の照明としても良い。さらに、この照明装置の上にウォールキャビネットを設けて物品を収納できるようにしても良い。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明に係る洗面化粧台の実施形態を図面に基づいて詳細に説明する。なお、図１〜６において、同一または同等部分には同一符号を付けて示す。

図１は、本発明に係る洗面化粧台の一実施形態を示す斜視図である。図２は、図１の実施形態の正面図である。図３は、図１の実施形態の側面図である。図１に示すように、本実施形態の洗面化粧台１は、集合住宅や個別住宅の一般用あるいは事務所、理髪店や美容院などの業務用として利用可能である。

洗面化粧台１は、洗面ボール５を有するカウンター２と、カウンター２の下に設けられるキャビネット１０と、洗面ボールのボール６の前面７（図３、４）に略沿って設けられる幕板１４とを備える。さらに、カウンター２の後側上に設けられる用品載置台２１と、この用品載置台２１の両側を含む上に設けられるミラーキャビネット２５とを備える。また、ミラーキャビネット２５の上には照明装置３３、ウォールキャビネット３６を備える。

ミラーキャビネット２５は、所定の距離をおいて配置される二つのキャビネット２８と、これらを連結し、中央に位置する図示していない背面板とを有する。二つのキャビネット２８および背面板の前面には鏡が設けられる。背面板には中央鏡３０が固定され、キャビネット２８の前面にはミラー扉３１が取り付けられる。キャビネット２８の内部には、複数の棚が設けられる。さらに、本体２６は、それぞれのキャビネット２８の下に引出し２９を有する。二つの引出し２９の間に用品載置台２１が位置する。

ミラー扉３１は、中央鏡３０側の縁近傍に設けられる縦軸に対して回転可能である。ミラー扉３１をこの縦軸の周りに回転させることにより中央鏡３０と二つのミラー扉３１は三面鏡として機能する。ミラーキャビネット２５の大きさは、たとえば幅１２００ｍｍ×高さ１１２０ｍｍ×奥行き１５０ｍｍである。ミラーキャビネット２５の上部には下方を照射可能な照明装置３３が設けられる。照明装置３３の前側先端位置は略下記ウォールキャビネット３６の前面位置にある。

ウォールキャビネット３６は、ミラーキャビネット２５の上に設けられる。ウォールキャビネット３６は、各種物品を収納するもので、前面が開放する箱形の本体３８の内部には固定棚が設けられる。本体３８の正面には扉４０が取り付けられる。また、各扉には取手４２が設けられる。

図４は、図２のＡ−Ａ線断面図である。図５は、図２のＢ−Ｂ線断面図である。図４に示すように、洗面ボール５の両側には引出し１７が設けられる。さらに、図５において、引出しの前板１９には取手を設けても良いが、この実施形態においては前板の下端木口１９ａは垂直にカットされるとともに、前板１９の下端縁をキャビネットの前面１１より手前側に位置させて、引出しの前板１９の裏側に手を入れて手前に引くことができるスペース１９ｂが形成される。また、引出し１７には凸条部２０が形成され、キャビネット１０の側板や仕切板に形成される溝１０ａに沿ってスライド可能に形成され、引出し１７自体を押し引きできるように形成される。

図６は、図２のＣ−Ｃ線断面図である。幕板１４は、洗面ボールの前面７に略沿って手前側から奥側下方に斜めに設けられる。幕板の面１５と上記引出し前板の前面１８（図５）とは面一に形成される。さらに、幕板の下端木口１６は、水平にカットされ、幕板１４の下端縁とキャビネットの前面１１との間には幕板１４の裏側に手を入れることができないように隙間が小さく形成される。

以上の構造を有する本実施形態の洗面化粧台１の作用について図１を使用して説明する。洗面ボール５の両側において、幕板の面１５位置より奥側（後側）にある空間を利用して引出し１７が設けられるので、空間の有効利用ができるとともに、カウンター２には洗面ボールの両側に洗面用具や化粧用品などを置くことができる広いスペースの平坦面４が形成され、引出し１７の使用とともに使い勝手が良い。
