Abstract
【解決手段】 主トルクを発生させる主燃焼と、主燃焼に先立ってなされる予備燃焼とを行わせる。予備燃焼は、圧縮上死点近傍で起こるように、また、主燃焼は、予備燃焼が終了した後に開始するように、燃料噴射を制御する。その一方、触媒等の温度を予測し、これが設定値を超えた場合に、主燃焼のための燃料噴射時期を進角側に補正する。

Description
S108では、DPFの再生は完了したものの、DPFにPMの燃え残りがあった場合に排気λを急に大きくすると、DPFでPMが一気に燃えてしまい溶損する恐れがあることから、溶損防止モードに入るために、recフラグを1にする。
S207では、S被毒解除が完了したので、desulフラグを0にする。
S305では、NOx脱離浄化が完了したので、spフラグを0にする。
尚、0<D<1である。
ここでの、Wは重み付け定数で、DPFの熱容量分を考慮して、上流側排気温度の重み付けを大きくするため、例えばW=0.7 程度とする。

Claims (13)
- 排気通路に排気浄化装置を備える内燃機関において、
排気浄化装置の状態に基づいて排気温度上昇要求があるときに、主トルクを発生させる主燃焼と、主燃焼に先立ってなされる少なくとも1回の予備燃焼とを行わせ、前記予備燃焼は、少なくとも1つが圧縮上死点近傍で起こるように、機関への燃料噴射を制御し、前記主燃焼は、前記予備燃焼が終了した後に開始するように、機関への燃料噴射を制御する一方、
排気浄化装置の温度を予測する手段と、排気浄化装置の温度の予測値が設定値を超えた場合に、前記主燃焼のための燃料噴射時期を進角側に補正するフェイルセーフ手段とを設けたことを特徴とする内燃機関の燃焼制御装置。 - 前記フェイルセーフ手段は、排気浄化装置の温度の予測値と設定値との差に応じて前記主燃焼のための燃料噴射時期の進角側へのフィードバック補正量を算出するものであり、かつ、排気浄化装置の温度の予測値と設定値との差に応じてフィードバックゲインを変更するものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関の燃焼制御装置。
- 前記排気浄化装置の温度を予測する手段は、排気浄化装置の熱容量、熱伝達率に基づいて排気浄化装置の温度と排気浄化装置の下流側の排気温度との関係を記述したモデルを有し、排気浄化装置の下流側に配置した排気温度センサにより検出される排気浄化装置の下流側の排気温度から、前記モデルを用いて、排気浄化装置の温度を予測するものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記排気浄化装置の温度を予測する手段は、更に、前記排気浄化装置の下流側の排気温度から前記モデルを用いて予測した排気浄化装置の温度を、基本予測値とし、この基本予測値を、1次遅れ処理することにより、最終的な排気浄化装置の温度の予測値を算出するものであり、かつ、排気流量に基づいて、前記1次遅れ処理のゲインを変更するものであることを特徴とする請求項3記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記排気浄化装置の温度を予測する手段は、排気浄化装置の上流側及び下流側にそれぞれ配置した排気温度センサにより検出される排気浄化装置の上流側及び下流側の排気温度から、これらの加重平均処理により、排気浄化装置の温度を予測するものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記予備燃焼の燃料噴射量は、前記主燃焼の燃料噴射時の筒内温度が自己着火可能な温度を上回るために必要な燃料噴射量であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか1つに記載の内燃機関の燃焼制御装置。
- 前記主燃焼の燃焼開始時期は、前記予備燃焼の燃焼開始時期からクランク角で20度以上離れた時期であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1つに記載の内燃機関の燃焼制御装置。
- 前記主燃焼の終了時期は、圧縮上死点からクランク角で50度以上離れた時期であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか1つに記載の内燃機関の燃焼制御装置。
- 前記主燃焼は、前記主燃焼のための燃料噴射時期を変えることで、排気温度を制御することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項8のいずれか1つに記載の内燃機関の燃焼制御装置。
- 前記主燃焼は、機関の発生トルクが一定となるように制御されることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項9のいずれか1つに記載の内燃機関の燃焼制御装置。
- 排気浄化装置として、排気中のPMを捕集するフィルタを備え、
前記排気浄化装置の状態に基づいて排気温度上昇要求のあるときは、少なくとも、排気温度を上昇させて、フィルタに堆積したPMを燃焼除去するフィルタの再生時であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項10のいずれか1つに記載の内燃機関の燃焼制御装置。 - 排気浄化装置として、排気空燃比がリーンのときに排気中のNOxをトラップするNOxトラップ触媒を備え、
前記排気浄化装置の状態に基づいて排気温度上昇要求のあるときは、少なくとも、排気温度を上昇させて、NOxトラップ触媒に堆積したS分の被毒解除を行う時であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項11のいずれか1つに記載の内燃機関の燃焼制御装置。 - 排気浄化装置として、排気空燃比がリーンのときに排気中のNOxをトラップするNOxトラップ触媒と、その下流側にあって排気中のPMを捕集するフィルタとを備え、
NOxトラップ触媒の下流側でかつPM捕集用フィルタの上流側の位置と、PM捕集用フィルタの下流側の位置とに、それぞれ排気温度センサを配置し、
NOxトラップ触媒の温度は、その下流側の排気温度から予測し、PM捕集用フィルタの温度は、その上流側及び下流側の排気温度から予測することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項12のいずれか1つに記載の内燃機関の燃焼制御装置。
