Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method by which the pigmentation of a human skin can be restored effectively by promoting the metabolism of the skin.
SOLUTION: The system effectively supplies vitamin C to a keratinocyte group positioned in the epidermis layer of the human skin by utilizing an ultrasonic wave introducing method. The easily obtainable vitamin C enables the skin to restore the keratinocyte group to a natural state by stabilizing the quantity of the melanin preserved in the keratinocyte group. When the melanin preserved in the ketatinocyte group is once restored to a normal level, the pigmentation of the skin becomes thinner and the skin is restored to a natural color.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the promotion of metabolism of skin layers or other biomembrane material layers. In the method, an ultrasonic device is used to deliver the chemical system to the skin layer. As the chemical system is delivered through the cortex, the system promotes skin metabolism.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Methods for passing substances through the skin to reach the bloodstream are well known in the medical arts. In general, ultrasound delivery, or the act of injecting a substance into the skin, is a well-known method for incorporating a substance into the bloodstream. Usually, the use of chemical enhancers, ie, the act of incorporating a substance into the skin by a permeation enhancer, is used to facilitate the penetration of the substance into the skin.
[0003]
In addition, users of cosmetics and dermatological products are increasingly seeking whitening and skin rejuvenation. Skin lightening attempts are generally based on the desire to restore general skin pigmentation when some parts of the user's skin are darker than others. Skin rejuvenation and whitening are not only due to age, but can also be due to exposure to the sun or other radiation. There have been several attempts to whiten and rejuvenate the skin. The most common method utilizes lotions of various vitamins and minerals. That is, it is well known in the art that vitamin C locally promotes the metabolism of the human body, thereby recovering and healing the body.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Unfortunately, these commonly known lotions are applied topically, over the epidermis, and effectively remove vitamins and minerals from the dermal layer, the most important skin layer under the epidermis. Can not be supplied.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a method for whitening and rejuvenating the skin, using a chemical system designed to directly supply vitamins and minerals to the dermis layer of the skin, and an apparatus used in the ultrasonic introduction method. Using a similar ultrasonic device.
[0006]
Further, an advantage of the present invention is that it provides a method of utilizing a chemical system and an ultrasound device to actively deliver the vitamins and minerals provided by the chemical system to the dermis layer of the skin, whereby Promotes skin rejuvenation.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The keratinocyte group 50 shown in FIG. 1 is a part of the epidermis 60 which is the first barrier on the periphery of the human body. More specifically, the keratinocyte group 50 helps regulate the skin color of the body to protect the human body from harmful ultraviolet rays. The keratinocytes 50 provide this protection by sending a signal to the human body that communicates a harmful situation to the human body.
[0008]
As shown in FIG. 2, when notified of a harmful situation, the human body responds by increasing metabolism, resulting in the secretion of melanin 70 from melanocytes 80. Melanin 70 is the only substance that protects the human body from the natural light of the sun. Melanin 70 has a high optical density and can absorb and scatter the influencing ultraviolet light. Thereafter, the melanin 70 is collected by the keratinocyte population 50 and stored therein. Due to the high optical density of melanin, as the preservation of melanin 70 in keratinocytes 50 increases, skin pigmentation becomes darker.
[0009]
An exemplary embodiment of the system for promoting metabolism of human skin shown in FIG. 3 includes an ultrasonic device 30 disposed on or near the surface of the skin to resonate ultrasonic waves having a frequency on the order of 1 to 3 MHz. Is what you do. When the ultrasound encounters the dermis layer of the skin, the lipid bilayer begins to absorb the ultrasound. By absorbing the ultrasound, the cells within the lipid bilayer move and become destabilized, thereby creating air pockets and allowing particulate material to pass through the skin layer. This process is well known in the art as an ultrasound introduction method.
[0010]
When the ultrasonic introduction method allows the passage of fine particles of 5 μm to 200 μm using an ultrasonic device, a liquid vitamin C such as L-ascorbic acid (L-3-ketothreohexuronic acid lactone) is applied to the epidermis of the skin. It can be inserted into the layer 60, whereby the liquid vitamin C comes into contact with the keratinocytes 50 stored in the epidermal layer of the skin. The step of inserting the liquid vitamin C into the skin and supplying the vitamin C to the keratinocyte group 50 includes applying the liquid vitamin C to the skin to form a coating, and applying the liquid vitamin C to the skin containing the liquid vitamin C coating. This is achieved by manually bringing the ultrasonic device into proximity for 1 to 5 minutes. When the lipid bilayer (not shown) is disassembled, the liquid vitamin C can pass through the lipid bilayer and reach the epidermal layer of the skin, thereby supplying the liquid vitamin C to the keratinocyte group 50. Vitamin C is ascorbic acid, which acts at the cellular level and provides the ability to carry procollagen molecules such as melanin 70 out of cells. As a result of transporting melanin 70 within the keratinocyte group 50, skin pigmentation is restored.
[0011]
Another advantage of supplying vitamin C directly to skin cells is the positive consequences of vitamin C on cells and their structure. Vitamin C protects cellular DNA from damage by free radicals and mutagens. Vitamin C prevents harmful genetic modification in cells and protects lymphocytes from chromosomal mutations. Vitamin C appears to be particularly important in today's widespread environmental pollution as it repairs the skin against the effects of many toxins, including ozone, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, pesticides and heavy metals.
