しかしながら、上記特開2001−308486号公報で示されるカメラのプリント基板構造では、複数のフレキシブルプリント基板を用いて電気部品間の配線のために広い面積を作っているが、複数のフレキシブルプリント基板を使用することによって組立の手間数が増え、複数のフレキシブルプリント基板によって電子部品が分散されるために電子間のやり取りの間でノイズが起きる可能性が増加する。

上記の目的を達成するために、本発明によるカメラのプリント基板実装構造は、上下面、左右面に新しく複数のフレキシブルプリント基板使用するのではなく、カメラボディの後面を形成する外装部材と同じぐらいの広さをもつ2つの硬質プリント基板が、カメラボディの背面に並列に配置されており、該お互いの硬質プリント基板に載置されたコネクタ同士を嵌入することによって電気的に接続されるプリント基板を具備することを特徴とし、カメラボティの背面に配置されており、カメラの電気部品が載置され、お互いのプリント基板と電気的接続を行うため少なくとも1個以上のコネクタを載置したプリント基板と、該プリント基板のコネクタと合致するコネクタを有したプリント基板がカメラボディ背面に並列に配置され、該コネクタにより電気的に接続されるプリント基板を具備する。

以上説明したように本発明によれば、作業性の良いカメラのプリント基板実装構造を提供できる。つまり、硬質プリント基板1,2の間に複数個のコネクタを載置して、一電子部品間でのノイズが起にくくなるり、コネクタ3、4を介せば組立も簡単にでき、電気回路の配線が近い場所に集まることで、電気的接続が容易になり配線的にも設計しやすくなる。また必要以上のフレキシブルプリント基板を使うことなくパーツ数が減り、軽量化されコストダウンにもつながる。尚、硬質プリント基板を2枚並列するように説明してきたが、例えば片方の硬質プリント基板をフレキシブルプリント基板に変えて更に狭い空間に設置することも問題が無いことは言うまでもない。また、ここではデジタルカメラを例にあげて説明を行ってきたが、一眼レフカメラやコンパクトカメラなどにも応用してもかまわない。
