Abstract

【課題】画像形成装置等の機器、装置を搭載して輸送するための梱包装置に用い、緩衝材の高さを吸収して梱包高さを従来より低くすることが可能なパレットを提供する。
【解決手段】パレット20は、底面部をなす平板材4上の両端に一対のけた材21、21を平行に載置固定し、これらけた材21、21の中間にもう1本のけた材6を平行に配置し、これらけた材21、6の上に上面材7を乗せ、さらに上面材7の上に複写機1を直接載置するシート材8を配置した構成である。両側に位置するけた材21は、角棒状の緩衝材22を内蔵するための凹部23が形成してある。上面材7及びシート材8には、けた材21の凹部23と対応する位置に開口24、25が形成してあり、組み立て状態で開口24、25から凹部23内へ緩衝材22を収納でき、また凹部23内から緩衝材22を取り出せる。緩衝材22は、例えば発泡スチロール材等から構成するが、その上面の一縁側の略中央部位に、凹部23から取り出す際の作業が容易に行えるようにするための手掛けとするくぼみ26を設ける。

【従来の技術】
画像形成装置等の機器、装置を搭載して輸送するための梱包装置に関しては、機器を載置するパレットを用いるものが一般的である。図1は、このようなタイプの梱包装置の一例を示す分解斜視図である。図中1は画像形成装置等の機器、装置の一例である複写機、2はパレット、3は上蓋である。パレット2は、底面部をなす平板材4上の両端に一対のけた材5、5を平行に載置固定し、これらけた材5、5の中間にもう1本のけた材6を平行に配置し、これらけた材5、6の上に上面材7を乗せ、さらに上面材7の上に複写機1を直接載置するシート材8を配置した構成となっている。

このようなパレット2上に複写機1を搭載して搬送可能な状態とするには、図1(A)に示すように、シート材8上に複写機1の底面形状にあわせて発泡スチロール等からなる緩衝材9・・・を複数個配置し、その上に複写機1を乗せ、図1(B)に示す状態とし、さらに複写機1の上面側にもその形状にあわせて発泡スチロール等からなる緩衝材10・・・を複数個配置し、上蓋3を被せる、という作業になる。なお図中11は部品箱で、複写機1の本体に取り付けないで搬送する部品等を収納するものである。また図中12は取っ手であり、上蓋3及びシート材8にそれぞれ取っ手12に対応する穴13、14を設けてある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながらこのような従来のパレット2では、上面材7(具体的にはシート材8)の上に緩衝材9を置かざるを得ないため、そのぶん梱包高さが高くなるという問題がある。

本発明は上記従来の問題を解決するためになしたもので、緩衝材の高さを吸収して梱包高さを従来より低くすることが可能なパレットを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明のパレットのうち請求項1に係るものは、上記目的を達成するために、画像形成装置等の機器、製品を搭載輸送するためのパレットであって、上記画像形成装置等の機器、製品を搭載したさいに荷重を受けるけた部材に、上方へ開口する凹部を設け、該凹部内に緩衝材を着脱可能に内蔵してなることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照して説明する。なお以下では従来と共通する部分には共通する符号を付すにとどめ重複する説明は省略する。
図3は本発明に係るパレットの一実施形態を示す斜視図である。本実施形態のパレット20は、基本的な構成は図1、2に示した従来のパレットと同様であるが、両側に位置するけた材21は従来の例のものよりも幅寸法を広げてあり、従来の例と同様の緩衝材取り付け位置に、角棒状の緩衝材22を内蔵するための凹部23が形成してある。また上面材7及びシート材8には、けた材21の凹部23と対応する位置に開口24、25が形成してあり、図3に示すように組み立てた状態で開口24、25から凹部23内へ緩衝材22を収納でき、また凹部23内から緩衝材22を取り出せるようになっている。

もちろん、上面材7及びシート材8に開口24、25を形成せずに、緩衝材22は上面材7を取り付ける前にけた材21に内蔵するように構成することもできる。

緩衝材22は、従来の例と同様に例えば発泡スチロール材等から構成するが、その上面の一縁側の略中央部位に、凹部23から取り出す際の作業が容易に行えるようにするための手掛けとするくぼみ26が設けてある。

本実施例のパレット20上に複写機1を搭載して搬送可能な状態とするには、開口24、25を通して凹部23内へ緩衝材22を収納し、その上に複写機1を位置をあわせて搭載して図4に示す状態とし、さらに複写機1の上面側にもその形状にあわせて発泡スチロール等からなる緩衝材10・・・を複数個配置し、上蓋3を被せるという作業になる。

図4の状態でパレット20、より具体的にはシート材8上面から複写機1の最も高い部位(ADFの頂部)までの高さH2は、図2に示す従来例の高さH1よりも緩衝材9によって持ち上げられていた分だけ低くなり、梱包状態での全高も低くすることができる。また複写機1の底面あるいはキャスタが付いていれば複数のキャスタが構成する床設置面とパレット面が同じ高さになり、荷降ろしの際に緩衝材を取り外すためにいったん複写機1を持ち上げる等の作業が不要になる。

【発明の効果】
請求項1に係るパレットは、以上説明してきたように、パレットを構成している両側のけたに緩衝材を内蔵させる凹部を設けたことによりおり、パレット上に緩衝材を置く方式に比べて梱包時の全高を低く抑えることができ、また製品や機器の床設置面をパレット面と同じ高さにできるため荷降ろし性が向上するという効果がある。

請求項2に係るパレットは、緩衝材の上面に取り出し作業時の手掛け用のくぼみを設けているので、上記共通の効果に加え、緩衝材の取り出し性が向上し、緩衝材の処分もしやすくなるという効果がある。
