(本説明で使用する図面は分かり易くする為、絶縁物であるハウジングは除きコネクターは接続する前、つまり抜いている状態で描かれている)
この発明は(図1)の電線(1)の電流を、電線(8)〜(10)またそれ以上の複数の電線に分流(分岐)する為の分岐用コネクターである
(図1)の電線(1)の電流はオス端子(2)を通りメスの分岐端子(3)の一方に流れ、同端子のもう一方からオスの分岐端子(4)へと流れる、このオスの分岐端子(4)は複数のオス端子からなりこれにより分流(分岐)された電流はこれらの端子に各々接続されるメス端子(5)〜(7)へとさらにこれらに接続された電線(8)〜(10)へと分流される。
(図1)の分岐コネクターの特長はオス端子からメス端子へ電流を分流(分岐)出来る事で、ポイントは複数のオス端子を持つオスの分岐端子(4)とメス端子同士を対にしたメスの分岐端子(3)とを組合せた点である。
本分岐コネクターはそれのみでの使用する外に、一般のコネクター(図2)の電線(17)〜(19)を接続したオス端子(20)〜(22)と電線(26)〜(28)を接続したメス端子(23)〜(25)と組み合わせて、複合コネクターとして使用する。
例えば一般のコネクターに信号用電流を流し分岐コネクターはグランド又は電源用として使う、センサー用コネクター等に最適である。
実際の使用は(図3)の絶縁物で有るハウジングに挿入して使用する。
