【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、整髪力及びアレンジ性を向上させるとともに、毛髪にべたつき等の重たい感触が付与されるのを抑制することができる整髪剤組成物に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の整髪剤組成物は25℃で固形の油性成分を含有し、この油性成分によって整髪力を向上させるようになっている。また、この種の整髪剤組成物としては、特開平8−283129号公報に記載されたヘアセッテイングローションが知られている。このヘアセッテイングローションは、(a)N−ビニルカプロラクタムの単独重合体又は少なくとも70重量%のN−ビニルカプロラクタムのアニオン性又は非イオン性コポリマーを含有している。さらに、(b)ポリアミド、ポリウレタン及びモノオレフィン系不飽和モノマーのホモ及びコポリマーよりなる群から選択される膜形成性ポリマーを含有している。(a)及び(b)の各成分は水、エタノール等のアルコール溶液又は水とアルコール溶液との混合液等に溶解され、整髪剤組成物はエアゾール型の剤型として構成されている。そして、(a)及び(b)の各成分によって整髪力を向上させるようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、前者の整髪剤組成物において、含有される25℃で固形の油性成分は、油性成分独特のべたつき等の重たい感触を整髪された毛髪に付与してしまうという問題があった。一方、後者の整髪剤組成物において、成分(a)のみでは整髪力及び整髪された毛髪のスタイルを手直しするアレンジ性が低く、成分(b)は整髪力を有するが、整髪力を向上させるために含有量を多くするとべたつき等の重たい感触を毛髪に付与してしまうという問題があった。

本発明は、上記従来技術に存在する問題点に着目してなされたものである。その目的とするところは、整髪力及びアレンジ性を向上させるとともに、毛髪にべたつき等の重たい感触が付与されるのを抑制することができる整髪剤組成物を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するために、請求項1に記載の発明の整髪剤組成物は、(A)ビニルカプロラクタムの単独重合体、(B)25℃で固形の油性成分、(C)25℃で液状の油性成分及び(D)水の各成分を含有し、水分散型の形態をなすものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を具体化した実施形態について詳細に説明する。
本実施形態の整髪剤組成物は、(A)ビニルカプロラクタムの単独重合体と、(B)25℃で固形の油性成分と、(C)25℃で液状の油性成分と、(D)水とを含有し、水分散型の形態をなす。

成分(A)のビニルカプロラクタムの単独重合体は、成分(B)とともに整髪力を向上させると同時に、(B)及び(C)の各成分とともにアレンジ性を向上させる。さらに、成分(C)とともに毛髪にべたつき等の重たい感触が付与されるのを抑制するために含有される。ビニルカプロラクタムの単独重合体は水、エタノール等のアルコール及び成分(C)等に溶解し、その具体例としてはLuviskol Plus(BASF社製の製品名、分子量100000、40重量%エタノール溶液)等が挙げられる。

整髪剤組成物中の成分(A)の含有量は、好ましくは0.1〜10重量%、より好ましくは0.1〜7重量、最も好ましくは0.2〜5重量%である。0.1重量%未満では整髪力及びアレンジ性を十分に向上させることができない。一方、10重量%を超えると毛髪に硬い感触が付与されやすい。

成分(B)の25℃で固形の油性成分は、成分(A)とともに整髪力を向上させると同時に、(A)及び(C)の各成分とともにアレンジ性を向上させ、さらに整髪された毛髪のスタイルを保持するスタイルキープ性を向上させるために含有される。成分(B)の具体例としては、25℃で固形の炭化水素、25℃で固形の動植物油脂、25℃で固形のロウ類、25℃で固形の高級アルコール、25℃で固形の高級脂肪酸、25℃で固形のエステル類、25℃で固形のシリコーン類等が挙げられる。これらは単独で含有してもよいし、二種以上を組み合わせて含有してもよい。

成分(B)は、スタイルキープ性をより向上させるために、25℃で固形のロウ類、25℃で固形の高級アルコール及び25℃で固形の動植物油脂から選ばれる少なくとも一種であるのが好ましく、整髪力をより向上させるために、25℃で固形のロウ類であるのがより好ましい。

25℃で固形の炭化水素の具体例としては、オゾケライト、セレシン、パラフィン、ポリエチレン末、マイクロクリスタリンワックス、ワセリン等が挙げられる。25℃で固形の動植物油脂の具体例としては、牛脂、馬脂、水素添加卵黄脂肪油、カカオ脂、シア脂、パーム脂、水素添加パーム核油、水素添加ヒマシ油、テオブロマグランディフロラム種子脂等が挙げられる。ここで、シア脂とは、例えばパルミチン酸4.0重量%、ステアリン酸41.0重量%、オレイン酸47.4重量%、リノール酸6.1重量%及びアラキン酸1.5重量%から構成される混合脂肪酸とグリセリンとから形成されるトリグリセライドを含有するものである。

25℃で固形のロウ類の具体例としては、ミツロウ、キャンデリラロウ、カルナウバロウ、ラノリン、コメヌカロウ、サトウキビロウ、虫白ロウ、パームロウ、モンタンロウ等が挙げられる。25℃で固形の高級アルコールの具体例としては、ラウリルアルコール、ミリスチルアルコール、セタノール、ステアリルアルコール、アラキルアルコール、ベヘニルアルコール、ラノリンアルコール等が挙げられる。

25℃で固形の高級脂肪酸の具体例としては、ラウリン酸、ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、ベヘニン酸、ヒドロキシステアリン酸、ウンデシレン酸、リシノレイン酸等が挙げられる。25℃で固形のエステル類の具体例としては、ステアリン酸ブチル、ステアリン酸ステアリル、ミリスチン酸セチル、ミリスチン酸ミリスチル、パルミチン酸セチル、乳酸セチル、乳酸ミリスチル、酢酸ラノリン、ステアリン酸コレステリル、オレイン酸コレステリル、オレイン酸オレイル、コハク酸ジオクチル、コハク酸ジエトキシエチル等が挙げられる。25℃で固形のシリコーン類の具体例としては、分子量150000以上の高重合メチルポリシロキサン等が挙げられる。ここで、25℃で固形のシリコーン類の粘度は500000cStを超えるとともに4000000cSt以下である。

整髪剤組成物中の成分(B)の含有量は、好ましくは0.1〜20重量%、より好ましくは1〜15重量%、最も好ましくは3〜12重量%である。0.1重量%未満では整髪力及びアレンジ性を十分に向上させることができない。一方、20重量%を超えると整髪組成物の粘性が高くなるために硬くなり、整髪剤組成物を毛髪に塗布するときに整髪剤組成物の伸びが低下しやすい。

成分(C)の25℃で液状の油性成分は柔軟性及び滑り性を有し、(A)及び(B)の各成分とともにアレンジ性を向上させると同時に、成分(A)とともに毛髪にべたつき等の重たい感触が付与されるのを抑制する。さらに、整髪剤組成物を毛髪に塗布するときに整髪剤組成物の伸びを向上させるとともに、(A)及び(B)の各成分の溶剤として作用するために含有される。成分(C)の具体例としては、25℃で液状の炭化水素、25℃で液状の動植物油、25℃で液状のロウ類、25℃で液状の高級アルコール、25℃で液状の高級脂肪酸、25℃で液状のエステル類、25℃で液状のシリコーン類等が挙げられる。これらは単独で含有してもよいし、二種以上を組み合わせて含有してもよい。

成分(C)は、成分(B)を容易に溶解するために、25℃で液状の炭化水素、25℃で液状の脂肪酸エステル及び25℃で液状のシリコーン類から選ばれる少なくとも一種であるのが好ましく、25℃で液状の脂肪酸エステルであるのがより好ましい。

整髪剤組成物中の成分(C)の含有量は、好ましくは1〜40重量%、より好ましくは2〜20重量%、最も好ましくは3〜15重量%である。1重量%未満では整髪剤組成物の伸びが低下しやすい。一方、40重量%を超えると(A)及び(B)の各成分の含有量が低下するために整髪力が低下しやすい。

成分(D)の水は、他の成分の分散媒等として作用するとともに、整髪剤組成物を他の成分が成分(D)中に分散する水分散型として構成するためのものである。整髪剤組成物中の成分(D)の含有量は、好ましくは30〜98.8重量%、より好ましくは50〜96.9重量%、最も好ましくは55〜93.8重量%である。30重量%未満では整髪剤組成物を水分散型として構成しにくい。一方、98.8重量%を超えると、他の成分の含有量が少なくなるために、整髪剤組成物としての機能を発揮するのが困難になる。

整髪剤組成物は、(E)界面活性剤を含有することによって水中油型(O/W型ともいう)エマルションが形成され、クリーム状、ワックス状、乳濁液状、フォーム状等、種々の形態を安定して保持することができる。成分(E)の具体例としては、非イオン性界面活性剤、アニオン性界面活性剤、カチオン性界面活性剤及び両性界面活性剤が挙げられる。

非イオン性界面活性剤の具体例としては、ポリオキシエチレン(POE)セチルエーテル等のPOEアルキルエーテル類、POEアルキルフェニルエーテル類、POE・ポリオキシプロピレンアルキルエーテル類、ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ポリエチレングリコール脂肪酸エステル、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル等が挙げられる。アニオン性界面活性剤の具体例としては、ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム、POEラウリルエーテル硫酸ナトリウム等が挙げられる。

本実施形態の整髪剤組成物には、その他の添加成分として、(F)水溶性高分子増粘剤、(G)1価の低級アルコール等を含有することができる。
成分(F)の水溶性高分子増粘剤は、整髪剤組成物の乳化安定性を向上させるために含有される。成分(F)の具体例としては、アラビアガム等の天然系高分子、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース等のセルロース系高分子、カルボキシメチルデンプン等のデンプン系高分子、酢酸ビニル−ビニルピロリドン等のビニルピロリドン系重合体、カルボキシビニルポリマー、アクリル酸アルキル共重合体等のアクリル酸系合成高分子等が挙げられる。これらは単独で含有してもよいし、二種以上を組み合わせて含有してもよい。これらの中でも、造膜性を有して整髪剤組成物の乳化安定性をより向上させるために、酢酸ビニル−ビニルピロリドン等のビニルピロリドン系重合体が好ましい。

整髪剤組成物中の成分(F)の含有量は、好ましくは0.1〜10重量%である。0.1重量%未満では整髪剤組成物の乳化安定性が低下する。一方、10重量%を超えると、整髪剤組成物の粘性が高くなるために硬くなりやすい。

さて、整髪剤組成物を調製するには各成分を各々規定量撹拌混合する。このとき、(C)及び(D)の各成分により、整髪剤組成物は水分散型として構成される。次いで、整髪剤組成物を使用するときには、適量を手に取って毛髪に塗布した後、手櫛によって毛髪を梳かしながら整髪剤組成物を伸ばし、毛髪全体になじませて整髪する。

このとき、(A)及び(B)の各成分により整髪力を向上させ、(A)、(B)及び(C)の各成分によって整髪剤組成物の柔軟性及び滑り性を向上させることにより、アレンジ性を向上させることができる。さらに、成分(A)が成分(C)に溶解されることにより整髪剤組成物の粘性が適度に調節され、毛髪にべたつき等の重たい感触が付与されるのを抑制することができる。また、成分(B)により、スタイルキープ性が向上されるとともに、整髪剤組成物の速乾性を抑制することによって整髪の途中で毛髪が固定されるのを抑制し、毛髪を容易に整髪することができる。さらに、成分(C)により、整髪剤組成物の伸びを向上させて整髪剤組成物を毛髪全体に均一に塗布することができる。

以上詳述した本実施形態によれば、次のような効果が発揮される。
・ 本実施形態の整髪剤組成物には、(A)、(B)及び(C)の各成分が含有されている。(A)及び(B)の各成分によって整髪力を向上させ、(A)、(B)及び(C)の各成分よってアレンジ性を向上させることができる。さらに、(A)及び(C)の各成分によって毛髪にべたつき等の重たい感触が付与されるのを抑制することができる。よって、整髪剤組成物は、整髪力及びアレンジ性を向上させるとともに、毛髪にべたつき等の重たい感触が付与されるのを抑制することができる。ここで、ビニルカプロラクタムとビニルピロリドンとの共重合体等のビニルカプロラクタムの共重合体は、ビニルカプロラクタムの単独重合体に比べて整髪力及びアレンジ性が劣っている。

【実施例】
次に、実施例及び比較例を挙げて前記実施形態をさらに具体的に説明する。
(実施例1〜5及び比較例1〜5)
専門のパネラーが表1に示す各成分を混合して整髪剤組成物をヘアワックスとして調製し、20代女性の健康毛に塗布して整髪力、アレンジ性、感触、スタイルキープ性及び整髪剤組成物の伸びについて下記(1)〜(5)の評価基準に従って評価を行った。それらの結果を表1に示す。

(1)整髪力
整髪力に優れている(◎)、整髪力が良好(○)、整髪力がやや不足(△)及び整髪力が不足(×)の4段階で評価した。

(2)アレンジ性
アレンジ性が非常に高い(◎)、アレンジ性が高い(○)、アレンジ性がやや低い(△)及びアレンジ性が低い(×)の4段階で評価した。

表1に示すように、実施例1〜5においては各項目について優れた評価であった。このため、実施例1〜5の各整髪剤組成物は、整髪力及びアレンジ性を向上させるとともに、毛髪にべたつき等の重たい感触が付与されるのを抑制することができた。

一方、比較例1及び比較例2においては、成分(A)のビニルカプロラクタムの単独重合体であるLuviskol Plusを含有しないために、毛髪にややべたつきがあり、感触はやや不良という評価になった。比較例2においては、さらに整髪力が不足という評価になった。

比較例3においては、成分(C)を含有しないためにアレンジ性がやや低い、毛髪にややべたつきがあり、感触はやや不良及び伸びが低いという評価になり、比較例4においては、成分(B)を含有しないために整髪力がやや不足、アレンジ性がやや低い及びスタイルキープ性が低いという評価になった。比較例5においては、整髪剤組成物はエタノールに他の成分が分散するエタノール分散型として構成されているために、毛髪にべたつきがあり、感触は不良及び伸びが低いという評価になった。

(実施例6〜9)
実施例6においては、表2に示す各成分を混合し、整髪剤組成物を、強い毛束を作るとともに根元を強く立ち上げることができるハードヘアワックスとして調製した。実施例7においては、表3に示す各成分を混合し、整髪剤組成物を、緩やかな毛束を作るとともに根元をふんわりと立ち上げることができるソフトヘアワックスとして調製した。一方、実施例8及び実施例9においては、表4に示す各成分を混合し、整髪剤組成物を、毛束を作るとともに根元を立ち上げることができるノーマルワックスとして調製した。そして、実施例1と同様にして整髪力、アレンジ性、感触、スタイルキープ性及び整髪剤組成物の伸びについて評価を行った。それらの結果を表2〜4に示す。

表2〜4に示すように、実施例6〜9においては各項目について優れた評価であった。このため、実施例6〜9の各整髪剤組成物は、整髪力及びアレンジ性を向上させるとともに、毛髪にべたつき等の重たい感触が付与されるのを抑制することができた。
