Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a filter mat used as a filter in, for example, a water purification device mounted on an upper part of an ornamental fish tank. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 2, for example, a water-purifying device P mounted on an upper part of an aquarium for aquarium fish T has a cotton-like white mat 1 made of polyethylene terephthalate.
A filter mat m having a configuration in which a nonwoven fabric pack 12 containing stones such as granite and granite porphyry was laid under 1 was used. Conventionally, in FIG. 2, a nonwoven fabric pack 12 is not used, and only a white mat 11 is used.
A filter in which the content of the nonwoven fabric pack 12 is replaced by activated carbon, or a filtration mat m in which dry bacteria or liquid bacteria are adhered to the white mat 11 without using the nonwoven fabric pack 12 has been used. [0004] However, among the above, the conventional filter mat m using only the white mat 11 is not suitable for the purpose of the present invention because of the physical filtration action of the white mat 11 processed into a floc. It simply removed the garbage and water stains visible. That is, since such a type of filtration mat m does not propagate microorganisms such as bacteria,
No biological purification action was obtained. Also, the filtration mat m having a configuration in which the nonwoven fabric pack 12 containing activated carbon is laid under the white mat 11 has a problem that only a physical filtration action can be obtained. [0005] Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, by supplying minerals indispensable for bacterial growth from minerals such as granite and granite porphyry put in the nonwoven fabric pack 12, bacteria are propagated on the white mat 11. In addition, a filtration mat m configured to obtain a biological purification action is used. However, the filter mat m having the configuration as shown in FIG. 2 requires a separate nonwoven fabric pack 12, and thus has a problem that an increase in cost cannot be avoided. Further, if the white mat 11 is made of a cotton-like base material, it can be cut freely according to the size of the aquarium. However, since the size of the nonwoven fabric pack 12 cannot be adjusted by cutting, In the case of the filtration mat m configured as shown in FIG. 2, there is also a problem that it is necessary to prepare several types of products according to the size of the water tank. Further, with respect to the conventional filtration mat m having a structure in which dried bacteria or liquid bacteria are adhered to the white mat 11, a considerable increase in cost is unavoidable in order to commercialize the bacteria, and the growth of the bacteria is also unavoidable. There is a problem that the biological purification action cannot be sufficiently obtained due to a shortage of minerals essential for the biomass. The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and is capable of sufficiently supplying minerals indispensable for the growth of bacteria, and which does not require the use of a nonwoven fabric pack. It is intended to provide. [0009] In order to achieve the above object, a filtration mat for a water purification apparatus of the present invention comprises igneous rock,
One or more minerals selected from granite, granite porphyry, granite porphyry ceramics, tourmaline, and marine diatomaceous earth are powdered by ultrafine particle processing, and the powdered mineral and an adhesive are mixed. The processing liquid is sprayed onto the mat base material to fix the powdered mineral to the mat base material. And
By doing so, it is possible to stably supply minerals from the powdered mineral fixed on the mat base material without using a nonwoven fabric pack containing stones such as granite and granite porphyry. . DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The filtration mat for a water purification apparatus of the present invention is one or two selected from igneous rock, granite, granite porphyry, granite porphyry ceramics, tourmaline, and marine diatomaceous earth. The above minerals were powdered by ultra-fine particle processing, and a treatment liquid obtained by mixing the powdered minerals and the adhesive was sprayed on a mat base material to fix the powdered minerals on the mat base material. Configuration. Here, the particle size of the mineral to be powdered in the ultrafine particle processing is not particularly limited. However, in order to improve the effect of mineral supply, it is more desirable to use a powdered mineral having a particle size of 480 mesh or more. This is because liquid type granite porphyries, etc., which are generally commercially available, have a mineral particle size in the range of 250 to 325 mesh.
Fine particles with a fineness of 1.5 times or more. It is preferable to use a powdered mineral of 480 mesh or more.
The reason is that the smaller the particle size, the larger the surface area of the mineral and the better the effect of supplying minerals to bacteria. The second reason is that the smaller the particle size, the lower the degree of wear of the metal ejection nozzle during the spraying process. The adhesive has fluidity that allows even spraying, and does not dissolve in water in a water tank, cause coloring or an unpleasant odor, and does not fluctuate pH. It is desirable to select an adhesive with little adverse effect on, as those having these conditions, for example,
A vinyl acetate / acrylate copolymer resin can be used. In the filtration mat of the present invention, it is more desirable to mix activated carbon with the above-mentioned treatment liquid and fix the activated carbon to the mat substrate. This is because a physical filtration action by the activated carbon can also be obtained, so that the water purification action becomes better. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS A filter mat for a water purification apparatus according to the present invention will be described below with reference to an embodiment shown in FIG. FIG.
This shows a state in which, for example, three filtration mats M of the present embodiment are laid one on top of another in a water purification device P attached to an upper part of an aquarium fish tank T having a size of 0 cm. The filter mat M of the present embodiment is prepared by mixing a granulated porphyry powder formed by ultrafine particle processing with an adhesive and treating the mixture with 200 g / m 2 of PE.
It is obtained by spraying a cotton-like mat substrate made of T (polyethylene terephthalate) as a raw material to fix powdered granite porphyry to the mat substrate. In this embodiment, in the ultrafine particle processing, the granite porphyry is processed to a particle size of 500 mesh. By doing so, the surface area of the granite porphyry is increased, the effect of supplying minerals to bacteria is improved, and the abrasion of the ejection nozzle in the spraying process can be reduced. Further, in the present embodiment, the liquid has a fluidity capable of even spraying, does not dissolve in water in the water tank, generates coloring or an unusual odor, does not change the pH, and has no adverse effect on living organisms such as ornamental fish. A vinyl acetate / acrylate copolymer resin (trade name: Movinyl 787) is used as a small adhesive. This is an aqueous emulsion obtained by mixing 45% by weight of a vinyl acetate / acrylate copolymer and 55% by weight of water. Next, a description will be given of a spraying process for fixing a treatment liquid obtained by mixing granite porphyry powdered by ultrafine particle processing and an adhesive to a mat base material. In this embodiment, in the spraying process, a treatment liquid obtained by mixing a powdered granite porphyry having a particle size of 500 mesh and a vinyl acetate acrylate copolymer resin is 370 mm long.
A predetermined amount and a uniform amount are sprayed on both sides of a mat substrate having a size of 120 mm in width. At this time, the amount of the sprayed granulated porphyry on the front and back surfaces of the mat base material of the above size was 1 powder.
g at a time. This is because, if the amount of granite porphyry is insufficient, sufficient mineral supply effect cannot be obtained, and if it is excessively fixed, the texture of the mat base material is impaired. Requirements. In this embodiment, the nozzle diameter is 0.5
Use spraying nozzles 1.5 mm, spraying pressure, so that the range of 3~7Kg / cm 2.
This is because if these conditions are adopted, the settled state of the powdered granite porphyry is improved. After the spraying process, the adhesive is solidified by performing a drying process at 130 ° C., and the granulated porphyry powder is fixed on the mat base material. As described above, the filter mat M of the present embodiment employs a configuration in which the granulated porphyry powder is fixed on the mat base material. The attached nonwoven fabric pack becomes unnecessary, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced. Further, since the filtration mat M of the present invention, which is made of a cotton-like mat substrate made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), can be easily cut into an appropriate size, there is no need to prepare a product for each water tank size. . In this embodiment, an example in which granite porphyry is used as a powdered mineral is disclosed. However, in the present invention, igneous rock, granite, granite porphyry, granite porphyry ceramics, Needless to say, one or more minerals selected from tourmaline and marine diatomaceous earth may be powdered and used. Further, in the present embodiment, an example in which a mat substrate made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is used is disclosed, but it is a matter of course that a mat substrate of another material may be used. As described above, the filter mat of the present invention is one or two selected from igneous rock, granite, granite porphyry, granite porphyry ceramics, tourmaline, and marine diatomaceous earth. The above minerals were powdered by ultra-fine particle processing, and a treatment liquid obtained by mixing the powdered mineral and the adhesive was sprayed on a mat base material to fix the powdered mineral on the mat base material. Therefore, minerals indispensable for the growth of bacteria can be stably supplied, whereby the biological purification effect of the filter mat can be improved as much as possible.
