Description of the Related Art Hitherto, various kinds of plant extract-containing compositions having an antibacterial action, an antifungal action, an antiseptic action and a deodorizing action have been present. However, although the conventional plant extract-containing composition as described above has some effects such as antibacterial action, antifungal action, antiseptic action and deodorant action, the sustainability of the effect was not sufficient. Moreover, some of them have an irritating odor and cannot be used for products having a high degree of adhesion to the human body or food.

Examples of the synthetic fibers are polyvinyl alcohol type, polyolefin type, polyamide type, polyester type and polyacrylonitrile type fibers. Fibers made of a thermoplastic resin such as Among them, it is preferable to use polyvinyl alcohol fiber as the fiber and polyvinyl alcohol as the resin. By this combination, the sagebrush extract is firmly fixed inside and on the surface of the fiber, and the duration of the effect is improved. This is because the resin to be fixed and the fiber are the same material, the resin has good adhesiveness, and polyvinyl alcohol is a hydrophilic substance having a hydroxyl group, and the wormwood extraction liquid is produced by the interaction between the hydroxyl group and the wormwood extract. This is because the active ingredient in the liquid is firmly retained.

The temperature was 5 ± 2 ° C. and 65 ± 5% RH. The sample and the number of mites latent in the sample were counted using a stereomicroscope 3 and 10 days after the tick was released (a different petri dish was used after 3 days and 10 days). In each test, four petri dishes were used for measurement, and the average value was used. 2. Test for aphids A sample similar to that of 1. was prepared, a cabbage was placed on the sample as a bait, and the test was performed under the same conditions as in 1 except that 30 aphids were released. (2) Antibacterial properties Staphylococcus aureus and pneumonia are used as test bacteria in accordance with the Quantitative Antibacterial Test Method Manual for Textile Products defined by the New Textile Product Functional Evaluation Council (SEK) using the obtained woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, and paper. The bacteriostatic activity value was measured using bacilli. At this time,
One week after the first measurement, the same measurement was performed again to evaluate the persistence of the effect. (3) Antifungal The obtained woven fabric, non-woven fabric, and paper were used as samples, cut into squares with a side of 6 cm, and placed in the approximate center of 150 ml of PDA medium (potato dextrose agar medium). The pathogenic bacteria (citrus green mold fungus, gray mold fungus) punched out with an 8 mm cork polar that had been pre-cultured were placed on the center of the sample for 20
Culturing was performed at 4 ° C for 4 days. The growth diameter of the fungus was measured to determine the mycelial growth inhibition rate. At this time, one week after the first measurement, the same measurement was performed again to evaluate the persistence of the effect.

After that, it was also excellent in pest repellent, antibacterial and antifungal effects, and retained excellent durability. In particular, Examples 2, 4, 6, 8
Since it contained the ethanol component in addition to the wormwood extract and the resin, the immediate effect of the above effects was also excellent.
On the other hand, the knitted fabrics, woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, papers and the like obtained in Comparative Examples 1 and 3 to 5 were excellent in initial pest repellent, antibacterial and antifungal effects because they did not contain a resin in the wormwood extract. After 1 week, the pest repellent, antibacterial and antifungal effects were inferior and the sustainability was inferior. Further, since the knitted fabric of Comparative Example 2 did not contain any wormwood extract or the like, it did not have all of the insect repellent, antibacterial and antifungal effects.
