Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consolidate and reduce kinds especially diameter sizes in consideration of housing, etc., to cope with various situations in use in spite of the consolidation and reduction, to easily wash inside by simple shapes free from boring, to compactly pile up all the pieces of tableware in consideration of housing, etc., and to unnecessitate direct contact with a saucer when drinking hot coffee, etc. SOLUTION: The diameter sizes of all the plates are limited to only four kinds, and three kinds of depths for deep plates, shallow plates and flat plates are prepared to the respective sizes. The side faces of the deep plates and the shallow plates are in the retreated shape of tilted straight lines (conical surface), thereby all the plates can compactly be piled up. The crossing part of a side face and a bottom face is formed to be a sufficiently large circular arc to wash the inside of the plate easily. Various ideas are considered for the shape of the flat plates and they are made usable upside down as the cover of the deep plates and the shallow plates in common. Handles are prepared separately and have folding structure to be housed with thin-thickness compactly. By fitting the handle to the plate, it can freely be used as a coffee cup or a soup cup.
