2. Description of the Related Art A fresh, elastic, fine-textured, white skin has been recognized as a beautiful skin since ancient times, and many people have made various efforts to realize such skin. It is no exaggeration to say that the science of realizing such skin is the origin of cosmetics science. In the young age, even if you have such fresh skin, as you age, it is easy for anyone to lose such beauty and become inelastic, bulky and rough skin It is a phenomenon that must be experienced at least once, but hopefully such a phenomenon will come as late as possible,
It will be the thought of everyone. For this reason, in the field of cosmetics science, the elucidation of such skin aging phenomenon has become a major theme. It is said that aging of the skin is caused by reactions such as cross-linking and disruption of the tissue structure, and chemical components of the skin causing a chemical reaction, causing coloration and insolubilization. Based on such findings, a Maillard reaction, which is a reaction of forming a Schiff base between sugar and albumin or an amino acid, has been proposed as such an aging model. Prevention of
Improved cosmetics have been developed. However, even components that are effective in screening using such an inhibition of the Maillard reaction as an index are not very effective in in vivo drug efficacy assays. In addition, there has been almost no idea of disassembling and removing the advanced glycation end products generated once. That is, it has been realized that the conventional inhibitory effect of the Maillard reaction alone cannot be used as an index for preventing or improving true aging. Therefore, Advanced Glycation
There has been a strong demand for the development of a cosmetic having a true aging skin protection and improvement action, using the decomposition action of end products as an index.

[0003] On the other hand, regarding the essence of Yukinoshita,
Coexist saccharides and proteins present in the living body, incubate at a temperature close to the living body, measure the difference in fluorescence intensity before and after the incubation, and then coexist the essence of saccharides, proteins and olives present in the living body under the same conditions Compared with the difference in the fluorescence intensity measured in the above, the decomposition effect of Advanced Glycation End Products using the index of the degree of attenuation of the fluorescence intensity during the incubation of the essence of Sakinoshita was not known at all. Therefore, there has been no development of a cosmetic composition containing the essence of Sakinoshita having such properties and having an effect of protecting and improving aging skin.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION (1) The essence of Sakinoshita, which is an essential component in the aging skin protection and improvement cosmetics of the present invention. The aging skin protection / improvement cosmetic of the present invention is characterized by containing an essence of Sakinoshita as an essential component. Yukinoshita's essence has the degrading effect of Advanced Glycation End Products. The part used for the essence can be obtained without any particular limitation as long as it is a part and / or the whole of a plant of Saxifraga, and examples thereof include bark, trunk, branches, leaves, flowers, roots, seeds and the like. . These may be used alone, or two or more sites may be used. The most preferred of these is the branch. The essence of Saxifraga referred to in the present invention is a processed product obtained by cutting, crushing, pulverizing, etc. of Saxifraga or an extract obtained by removing the solvent from an extract obtained by extracting the processed product with a solvent or the like. It refers to a generic term for fractionated and purified products, etc., fractionated and purified by chromatography and the like. Examples of the solvent used for the extraction include water, alcohols such as methanol and ethanol, 1,3-butanediol, propylene glycol and glycerin, esters such as ethyl acetate and methyl formate, nitriles such as acetonitrile, and diethyl ether. Preferred examples include ethers such as tetrahydrofuran, halogenated hydrocarbons such as chloroform and methylene chloride, ketones such as acetone and methyl ethyl ketone, and the most preferable of these are one or more selected from water and alcohols. It is particularly preferred to use two or more. The extraction may be carried out, for example, by adding a solvent in an amount of 2 to 10 times the amount of the dried plant material or its pulverized material, and immersing it for several days at room temperature or for several hours at a temperature near the boiling point. Then, unnecessary substances may be removed by filtration or the like, and concentrated under reduced pressure if necessary. Further, this may be purified by column chromatography using a column filled with silica gel, ODS, ion exchange resin and the like. The essence thus obtained has the action of decomposing advanced glycation end products,
The aging skin protection and improvement cosmetics containing this are extremely useful. The preferred content of the essence of Saxifraga in the cosmetic of the present invention is preferably 0.05 to 10% by weight,
More preferably, it is 0.1 to 5% by weight. This is because if the amount is too small, the effect of decomposing the advanced glycation end product may not be exhibited, and if the amount is too large, the effect may reach a plateau. Such an essence of Sakinoshita is the advanced glycation end product decomposer of the present invention.

(2) Cosmetic for protecting and improving aging skin of the present invention The cosmetics to which the present invention is applied are not particularly limited in dosage form and use. For example, dosage forms include solution, emulsion, and cream. And water-based gel, and may be used as a base material, or a finish such as a foundation or control color. The cosmetic of the present invention may contain optional ingredients commonly used in skin external compositions within a range that does not hinder the decomposition of the advanced glycation end product of the essence of Sakinoshita. Optional components include hydrocarbons such as petrolatum and microcrystalline wax, esters such as jojoba oil and gay wax, triglycerides such as tallow, olive oil, higher alcohols such as cetanol and oleyl alcohol, stearic acid, and oleic acid. Fatty acids, polyhydric alcohols such as glycerin and 1,3-butanediol, nonionic surfactants, anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, thickeners such as ethanol and carbopol, Preservatives, ultraviolet absorbers, antioxidants, pigments, powders and the like can be preferably exemplified. The cosmetic of the present invention is obtained by treating these essential components and optional components according to a standard method.

Weigh 4 ml of 0 mM phosphate buffer (pH 7.4),
After stirring well, the mixture was diluted 1/10 with the above-mentioned phosphate buffer, and 1 mg of each essence was added to 10 ml of this solution.
The mixture was incubated at 40 ° C. for 1 week in a shaking incubator. Before and after the incubation, the fluorescence intensity (Ex: 360n)

As a control, the same measurement was carried out without adding the essence of Sakinoshita to obtain a value. This is shown in Table 1. From these results, it can be seen that the essence of Yukinoshita has an advanced glycation end product decomposition effect.
