Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably emit light in the whole of a shank and all the tips by means of a light source of a minimum amount of light by arranging a power source, a light emitting element lighting circuit, a power source open/close switch, a shank illuminating light emitting element inside a handle and arranging a lead wire in the shank for connecting it to a tip illuminating light emitting element arranged in a ferrule and an upper ring. SOLUTION: A light emitting circuit board 14, a power source open/close switch 15, a light emitting element-b 13, a dry battery 16 are arranged inside a handle 4. For a handle lid 5, a highly elastic resin or rubber is used. For a shank 2 connected to the handle lid 5, a transmittable resin tube with the satin-finished inside face is used, and a lead wire 12 led to a light emitting element-a 8 is arranged on the inside the shank 2. Groove type holes are formed in a ferrule and an upper ring for respective ribs 3. A tubular space is arranged inside the ferrule and the upper ring so as to house the light emitting element-a 8 freely movably. An optical fiber is introduced from the groove type hole so as to be arranged in the groove in each rib 3. A tip formed of a transmittable resin is provided with an umbrella canopy fixing groove 18, and the tip end is machined into a spherical face. The optical fiber is arranged so as to reach a specific position.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional umbrella with a light emitting device is an umbrella with a light emitting element comprising a light emitting element disposed at each end of an umbrella bone, a built-in umbrella handle, and power supply means for supplying power to the light emitting element. .
(See Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 04-5906) In this case, in order to emit light, a light source is required for each light emitting portion. Light emitting elements and power for causing them to emit light must be supplied. Also, in the case of using an optical fiber, a power supply accommodating portion, a power supply opening / closing switch, and a luminous body by the power supply are provided in the center rod, a lighting display unit is provided at the tip of a plurality of umbrella bones, and the luminous body and the lighting display unit are provided. A transmission line composed of an optical fiber between them is provided along the umbrella bone, a power supply accommodating section and a power supply open / close switch are provided in the middle rod, and a lighting display section composed of a luminous body is provided at the tip of a plurality of umbrella bones. And a metal transmission line between the power storage unit and the lighting display unit is provided along the umbrella bone. (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 08-29
4408) However, in the case of an umbrella having a light emitting device using an optical fiber represented by this case, in the establishment of the case,
In most cases, the bending resistance of the optical fiber is not taken into account. In particular, the hinge portion between the ribs in contact with the upper wheel has an unrealizable structure that exceeds the bending resistance of the optical fiber and breaks. Further, the method of introducing light into the optical fiber is uncertain, and sufficient illuminance and luminance that can be used practically cannot be obtained.

In a conventional umbrella with a light-emitting device, a light source is set for each light-emitting portion. Due to the large number of light sources, the manufacturing cost is high, and the light source is cut off during the manufacturing process and distribution stage. Also, it is not feasible as a stable commercial product due to leakage due to rain or the like. Also, even in projects using optical fibers, there are no designs that can withstand practical use after securing sufficient light intensity and brightness, and most of them are structural plans that ignore the bending resistance, which is a material property of optical fibers. In particular, the light emitting device of the existing case mechanism cannot be realized because the optical fiber breaks at the hinge portion when passing from the upper wheel to the rib.
