Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent even long nails from being obstacles to operation when a keyboard is used by providing a projection which has a smaller area than a keys of the keyboard at each key part of a keyboard cover and making the gap between keys wider than that between keys of the keyboard. SOLUTION: The projection which has the smaller area than a key of the keyboard is provided at each key part of the keyboard cover and then the gap between keys is made wider than that of keys of the keyboard when the keyboard is used. For example, a projection part 2 is provided for a stain prevention part 3 made of an elastic material such as rubber. The projection part 2 is manufactured in the same body with the stain prevention part 3. Here, the stain prevention part 3 is transparent so that characters written on the keyboard will not be hidden, and the projection part 2 is positioned to the left above the key. With this structure, nails are positioned in gaps between projection parts 2 and do not become obstacles to key operation when the fingers are touching or pressing the keys.
