Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1 可燃ガス混合物を収容するとともに、ガス出口(14)を備え、点火装置に よってその内部で混合気が点火される燃焼室(10)に開口する閉鎖体(3, 11)が設けられた容器(4)からなり、好ましくは、自動車の乗員を保護す るための膨張性エア・バッグ用のガス発生器において、 前記容器(4)が、主として加圧された不活性ガスで満たされ、0.1ない し5.0容積%のガス状燃料と0.5ないし20容積%のガス状酸化剤を含み 、前記点火装置が、作動中に、前記容器の前記閉鎖体(11)を開き、前記燃 焼室に流れ込む前記ガス混合物に点火し、エネルギを連続的に供給して、燃焼 を維持することを特徴とするガス発生器。 2 前記ガス状燃料が0.2ないし0.5容積%で、前記ガス状酸化剤の量が1 ないし3容積%であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載のガス発生器 。 3 前記炭化水素の少なくとも半分はガス状のアルカンであることを特徴とする 請求の範囲第1項又は第2項に記載のガス発生器。 4 前記アルカンが、CH4,C2H6,C3H8又はC4H10であることを特徴とする 請求の範囲第1項ないし第3項のいずれか1項に記載のガス発生器。 5 前記アルカンがC3H8であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項に記載のガ ス発生器。 6 前記ガス状酸化剤がO2、N2O又はH2O2であることを特徴とする請求の範 囲第1項ないし第4項のいずれか1項に記載のガス発生器。 7 前記ガス状酸化剤がO2であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第6項に記載の ガス発生器。 8 前記不活性ガスがArであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項ないし第7 項のいずれか1項に記載のガス発生器。 9 前記ガス状燃料が、0ないし70容積%、好ましくは、約50容積%の炭化 水素と、例えば、C2H2又はC2H4の不飽和炭化水素を含むことを特徴とす る請求の範囲第1項ないし第8項のいずれか1項に記載のガス発生器。 10 前記不飽和炭化水素がC2H2であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第9項に 記載のガス発生器。 11 前記容器内の前記ガス混合物が、100ないし300バールの圧力を受け ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項ないし第7項のいずれか1項に記載のガ ス発生器。 12 前記容器内の前記ガス混合物が、180ないし280バールの圧力範囲を 受けることを特徴とする請求の範囲第11項に記載のガス発生器。 13 前記点火装置が、好ましくは、化学量論的な関係にある燃料と酸化剤との 混合物からなる固体又は液体からなる火工品の充填物であることを特徴とする 請求の範囲第1項ないし第8項のいずれか1項に記載のガス発生器。 14 前記容器の前記閉鎖休が、前記火工品の充填物の点火後に、その開放位置 に、ピボット回転され、他方の脚(12)に作用する角のある前記閉鎖体の脚 (11)からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項ないし第9項のいずれか 1項に記載のガス発生器。 15 前記点火装置が、レーザからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項ない し第9項のいずれか1項に記載のガス発生器。 16 前記容器はまた、燃料に加えて、空気を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲 第1項ないし第15項のいずれか1項に記載のガス発生器。 17 前記燃焼室(10)が、例えば、網状体(15)などの多孔構造体で被覆 された出口(14)を有し、前記構造体が触媒物質を含むことを特徴とする請 求の範囲第1項ないし第16項のいずれか1項に記載のガス発生器。
