Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.金属含有化合物と粒状形態をしている適宜の還元体との混合体を包含する バードンを、液状形態をしている前記金属の浴を含んでいる電気的に加熱可能な 容器内に、反応区域が前記バードンに形成され、前記金属含有化合物を還元し、 また、前記還元された金属を溶融する溶融区域を前記反応区域の下に形成するよ うに給送することと、前記金属含有化合物の還元の実質的に全てを固相において 生じさせるような態様でその方法を制御すること、を必然的に伴う金属含有化合 物の還元及び溶融方法。 2.請求項1記載の方法において、該方法の前記制御が、以下のパラメータ、 即ち、 (1)前記バードンを前記容器に給送する態様、及び、速度、 (2)前記バードンの粒子寸法、 (3)前記バードンの混合の度合い、 のうちの少なくとも1つを制御することにより行われる方法。 3.請求項1または請求項2記載の方法において、前記制御は、実質的に何等 のガス泡も、形成されるかもしれないスラグあるいは液浴に形成されないように 、前記制御をなし、実質的に全ての反応が前記固相で生じているという指示とし て泡の不存在を用いるように行われる方法。 4.請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1つに記載の方法において、前記バ ードンは、前記存在するかもしれないスラグあるいは液浴の実質上全体にわたっ て前記バードンが延在するような態様で、且つ、そのような速度で前記容器内に 給送される方法。 5.請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1つに記載の方法において、前記バ ードンが互いに離隔された給送用ポートを介して前記容器に給送されて該容器の 内側に、互いに隣接して置かれたバードンの堆積物を形成し、そして、前記方法 は、存在するかもしれないいずれかのスラグ及び前記液浴にわたる橋部の態様を なして延在する連続したバードンの層を画成するべく前記堆積物の底部が合体す るように前記給送がなされていることを確実にする工程を含んでいる方法。 6.請求項5記載の方法において、前記橋部の形成が前記容器内側の前記バー ドン堆積物の寸法を制御することにより行われる方法。 7.請求項5または請求項6記載の方法において、前記バードンが前記容器に 給送されるポートの有利なの位置決めにより、及び/または、このようなポート の数及び前記バードンを前記ポートを介して給送する速度を制御することにより 、及び/または、前記容器内の液体金属のレベルを制御することにより前記橋部 の形成が行われる方法。 8.請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか1つに記載の方法において、前記バ ードンの粒子寸法は、前記バードンが10mmの、好ましくは6mmの、より好まし くは3mmのふるいを通過することができるようになっている方法。 9.請求項1から請求項8までのうちのいずれか1つに記載の方法にして、前 記金属含有化合物の還元中形成され且つ前記バードンよりも上で該バードンに透 過するいずれかのCOを燃焼させる工程と、前記反応において生ずる熱を利用す る工程とを含んでいる方法。 10.請求項9記載の方法において、前記バードンよりも上で前記容器に位置 決めされている酸素及び/または空気バーナーによりこのような燃焼を行う方法 。 11.請求項1から請求項10までのいずれか1つに記載の方法において、前 記反応容器は、チャンネル式誘導炉の加熱区画体を有している方法。 12.請求項1から請求項11までのうちのいずれか1つに記載の方法におい て、前記金属含有化合物は鉄含有化合物を包含し、または、含んでいる方法。 13.請求項1から請求項11までのうちのいずれか1つに記載の方法におい て、前記金属含有化合物の金属は、次の、即ち、鉄、クロム、マンガン、銅、亜 鉛、鉛のうちのいずれか1つあるいはそれ以上を包含し、または、含んでいる方 法。 14.請求項1から請求項13までのいずれか1つに記載の方法を実施するた めの装置にして、前記還元及び溶融が実施される1つの区画体チャンネル式誘導 炉を有しており、前記区画体は、前記バードンのための少なくとも1つの給送用 ポートと、液体金属生成物のための少なくとも1つの出口ポートと、前記反応で 形成されるいずれかのスラグのための少なくとも1つの出口ポートとを備えてい る装置。 15.実質的に図面を参照してここに記載されたごとき金属含有化合物の還元 及び溶融方法。 16.実質的にここに記載されたごとき、また、図面に図示されているごとき 金属含有化合物の還元及び溶融方法を実施するための装置。
