Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.変調信号の変調装置であって: 変調信号型式の入力を有するコヒーレント復調器; 変調信号型式の入力を有する非コヒーレント復調器;および 検出モード選択信号のステータスに基づいて、前記コヒーレント復調器および 前記非コヒーレント復調器間で選択を行うセレクタ; から成ることを特徴とする変調装置。 2.前記変調信号は、直交変調信号から成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装 置。 3.前記変調信号型式は、前記直交変調信号の同相(I)成分および直交(Q) 成分から成ることを特徴とする請求項2記載の装置。 4.前記検出モード選択信号のステータスは、周波数オフセットの推定値をスレ シホルドと比較することによって発生することを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置 。 5.直交変調信号の復調装置であって: 前記直交変調信号の同相(I)成分および直交(Q)成 分を、入力として有するコヒーレント復調器; 前記直交変調信号の前記同相(I)成分および前記直交(Q)成分を、入力と して有する非コヒーレント復調器;および 前記コヒーレント復調器または前記非コヒーレント復調器のどちらを用いるか を選択するための検出モード選択信号を、出力として有するセレクタ; から成ることを特徴とする復調装置。 6.前記検出モード選択信号は、前記周波数オフセットの分散の推定値をスレシ ホルドと比較することによって発生することを特徴とする請求項5記載の装置。 7.前記周波数オフセットの分散の推定値は: ベースバンド周波数オフセット推定値を遅延させる複数の遅延素子; 前記複数の遅延素子の各出力を加算し、第1加算ノード出力信号を生成する第 1加算ノード; 加算された出力信号を二乗し、二乗加算出力信号を生成する二乗器; 前記複数の遅延素子の各出力を二乗し、複数の二乗出力を生成する複数の二乗 器; 前記複数の二乗器が生成する複数の二乗出力を加算して、第2加算ノード出力 信号を生成する第2加算ノード; 前記第2加算ノード出力信号を所定のビット数だけシフトし、ビット・シフト 信号を生成するビット・シフタ;および 二乗加算出力信号を前記ビット・シフト信号から減算し、前記周波数オフセッ トの前記推定値の生成が行われる第3加算ノード; を用いて発生することを特徴とする請求項6記載の装置。 8.ワイヤレス通信システムにおいて、変調信号を復調する方法であって: 前記変調信号の第1推定値を発生する段階; 前記変調信号の第2推定値を発生する段階; 前記第1および第2推定値を比較し、前記推定値の精度に関する信頼性を調べ る段階; 前記信頼性に基づいて、前記第1または第2の推定値のいずれかを用いて、検 出モード選択信号を発生する段階;および 前記発生した検出モード選択信号に基づいて、コヒーレント復調器または非コ ヒーレント復調器のいずれかを選択する段階; から成ることを特徴とする方法。 9.前記変調信号の前記第1推定値は、コヒーレント・チャネル推定器によって 発生することを特徴とする請求項8記 載の方法。 10.前記変調信号の前記第2推定値は、非コヒーレント・ウォルシュ・シンボ ル推定器によって発生することを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。
