Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wash laundry with water obtained by diluting electrolytic solution, to sterilize the laundry, and to prevent malodor of the laundry after drying by incorporating a mechanism for electrolyzing chlorine ion solution such as non-diaphragm type electrolytic cell or a diaphragm type electrolytic cell in a washing machine. SOLUTION: A mechanism for electrolyzing a chlorine ion solution in a non-diaphragm type electrolytic cell or a diaphragm type electrolytic cell and injecting the electrolytic solution in the washing water is incorporated in a washing machine. That is, an electrolytic cell 3 into which the chlorine ion solution in a chlorine ion solution take 1 is fed by a chemical pump 2 is provided. 水に、塩素イオン溶液(1)が薬液ポンプ(2)によっ
て電解槽(3)に供給され電解された電解液が電解液が
電解液供給管(4)を通して混合希釈され、水の注ぎ口
(5)から洗濯槽(6)に供給され、濯ぎの終わった洗
濯物(表示せず)を殺菌した。混合希釈水の有効塩素濃

成された陰極室水が陰極水注入管(12)を通して洗濯
槽に注いだ。陰極水にはアルカリが含まれており洗浄効
果高める。同時に陽極槽(13)で生成する陽極水は陽
極水貯留タンク(10)に貯留した。陽極室水による洗
浄のとき洗剤を併用することも可能である。濯ぎが終わ
った後、陽極室水バルブ(16)を開いて陽極室水注入
管(15)から陽極室水を洗濯槽に注ぎ洗濯物を殺菌し
た。乾燥後の洗濯ものは汚れが落ち、異臭もなかった。
