PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a chip antenna at a distance from a front case and to sup press the deterioration of an antenna radiation characteristic by providing the chip antenna on a flexible printed wiring board and further fixing the flex ible printed wiring board to a shield case. SOLUTION: A chip antenna 5 is mounted on an FPC 11. The FPC 11 where the chip antenna 5 is mounted is fixed onto a shield case 2. Due to this configuration, the chip antenna 5 can be kept at a distance from a front case 3, and when it is applied to an ear when communication is performed by this portable radio equipment, the deterioration of an antenna radiation characteristic can be suppressed.
