Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect the distortion of a paper sheet by providing a sheet detecting sensor for detecting the presence of the sheet near a feed roller, and arranging a plurality of optical sensors for detecting the inclination of the sheet detected by the sheet detecting sensor within a carriage. SOLUTION: A printing head 202 is loaded on a carriage for performing a printing to sheet, and the feed of sheets to be printed by the printing head 202 is performed by a feed roller 201. A sheet detecting sensor 203 for detecting the presence of sheet is provided near the feed roller 201, and the inclination of the sheet detected by the sheet detecting sensor 203 is detected by a plurality of optical sensor 204 arranged within the carriage. After the initial set of the device, the sensing operation by the optical sensors 204 is preformed near the printing head 202 to detect the presence of the sheet, and a plurality of points of the sheet is observed to detect the inclined state of the sheet. で構成されたことを特徴とするプリンタ装置。
