(57) [Summary] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] To provide a lighting control method for reducing deterioration of the life of a metal halide headlamp (HID). SOLUTION: OID of HID at the time of passing from a light-off state.
The flashing by N-OFF is changed to continuous lighting, and the moving part such as the metal halide lamp is started in synchronization with the passing signal, and the moving part such as the metal halide lamp is continuously turned on and off until the clock signal is inputted, thereby performing the passing. This is an HID passing control method that solves the problem. Further, the movable portion is at least one of a reflector, an HID light source, and a shielding plate covering the light source, or a combination thereof, and keeps the HID on for a certain period of time even if the passing signal does not enter. The present invention provides a passing control method in which the HID is turned off after a clock signal such as an ON-OFF trigger of a light switch is input after a predetermined time has elapsed.

2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the trigger is an N-OFF trigger. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a method of controlling the passing of a headlight for a vehicle having a metal halide lamp (hereinafter referred to as "HID"). The present invention relates to a control means, and relates to switching of a light distribution pattern for passing control, and more specifically, to minimize the life degradation due to HID passing. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, vehicle headlamps are roughly classified into two-light headlights and four-light headlights. HID in recent years
With the development of HIDs, vehicles equipped with brighter HIDs utilizing arc discharge have also begun to appear from conventional halogen lamps. FIG. 3 shows a conventional passing lighting mode using a two-lamp headlight and a conventional passing lighting mode using a four-lamp headlight. As can be seen from FIG. 3, in the passing control method from the turning-off state of the headlight using a normal two-lamp HID, the HID repeatedly turns on and off in synchronization with the passing signal. For example, a method in which part or all of a reflector is used as a movable part to block irradiation of light in front of the light,
Or, the mechanically movable part is a method such as a method in which the shielding plate comes out in front of the light source to block the irradiation of light, or a method in which the light source itself stops moving and irradiates the light forward.
Repeat N-OFF. In the case of the four-lamp type, the HID is repeatedly turned on and off instead of the movable part, and the halogen lamp is repeatedly turned on and off instead of the movable part. [0004] However, it is conceivable that the above-described conventional method of controlling the passing of the HID from the light-off state of the HID may cause the life of the HID to deteriorate. Because, generally, the life time of the HID is shorter in blinking lighting than in continuous lighting. Also, it is found that the flashing time when the pipe is cold (cold start) is shorter than the flashing when the pipe is warm (hot start), like passing from the light-off state. ing. [0005] Therefore, when passing is performed from a light-off state as in the conventional case, the HID blinks in synchronization with the passing signal, which leads to deterioration of the life. According to the present invention, the HI at the time of passing from the light-off state as described above is provided.
Passing is performed by changing blinking lighting by ON / OFF of D to continuous lighting. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of controlling passing from the off state of the HID, wherein the HID is turned on simultaneously with the passing of the passing signal, and the movable part is moved in synchronization with the passing signal. Passing is performed. An object of the present invention is to provide a passing control method from the off state of the HID, in which the HID is turned off, and the movable portion is moved in synchronization with the passing signal to perform the passing. Further, the movable portion is a reflector, an HID
