Abstract

Viene descritto un filtro a cartuccia pieghettato per rimuovere particelle o polvere da una corrente di gas. La cartuccia è costituita da un tubo di sopporto perforato, da un mezzo filtrante pieghettato intorno a detto tubo, e da cappucci terminali in cui le estremità del mezzo filtrante e del tubo vengono sigillate, e in cui il mezzo filtrante pieghettato contiene meno di 7 pieghe per pollice (2,7/cm).
