Le suole per zoccoli e sandali sono realizzate preferibilmente in legno o materiali plastici e sono di solito di spessore molto elevato sia per isolare il più possibile il piede dal terreno, sia per motivi estetici e di moda. Questa altezza ed il particolare materiale le rendono completamente rigide, prive cioè di assecondare qualunque, anche minima, asperità del terreno. This height and the particular material make them completely rigid, meaning that they do not support any, even minimal, roughness of the ground.

La conseguenza di questa rigidità è che le calzature confezionate con tale tipo di suola risultano scomode e di durata limitata in special modo se utilizzate su terreni sconnessi od accidentati quali ad esempio quelli di campagna o sulla sabbia. L’idea di soluzione consiste nel prevedere una suola divisa in più tratti tenuti insieme da una suoletta elastica di sottopiede ed articolati elasticamente grazie alla presenza di una molla che unisce in senso assiale la punta con il tallone ed è vincolata a questi due elementi. Con riferimento alle figure, la suola è concepita costituita da una parte centrale formata da quattro o più distinte sezioni 1) , dalla punta 2) e dalla zona relativa al tacco 3). Claims

CLAIMS 1. Sole for clogs, sandals and other footwear, characterized by being composed of several distinct pieces held together by the insole sole and by an elastic element which is bound to the extreme tip and the extreme heel and which crosses it axially, in order to give elastic deformability to the entire sole.

2. Sole as and for the purpose of the previous claim characterized by the fact that the elastic element connecting the sole and the heel can be divided into several parallel elements or in any case joining the two parts.

3. Sole as and for the purpose of the preceding claims characterized by the fact that between the toe area and the heel several rows of single or symmetrical elements with respect to the axis of the sole can be arranged, suitably shaped, to form the central part of the sole. .

4. Sole as and for the purpose of the preceding claims characterized in that the toe area and that of the heel are distinctly made in one piece.
