Process for the cosmetic treatment of the skin, characterized in that it uses a device according to one of claims 1 to 8 and comprises the following steps: pressing the second control element of said device against the skin to dispense a cosmetic product contained in said device; lift said device from the skin to release said second element and stop dispensing the cosmetic product; repeat the pressure and release phases until the required delivery of said cosmetic product is obtained over the entire affected skin area, performing a skin massage by means of said succession of pressure and release phases.

13. Process according to claim 12, characterized in that the affected area of skin comprises the scalp.
